We had a great stay! Loi gave us a warm welcome and helped us out with finding a good trekking guide and finding tickets for the sleeper bus. The bungalow was great, with fantastic views. Food was great as well!

I stayed here for 2 nights over Christmas and I loved it. Mr Loi, the owner is about as accommodating as you can ask for and very willing to arrange taxis, trekking tours, and direct you to whatever is around that he thinks you might be interested in. The food is excellent, especially the cinnamon tea that they make on-site. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. My one note would be that they are not very warm (although I am willing to own that some of that is my fault since I did not pack warm enough clothes!) and so you might end up a little tied to the bed with it’s electric blanket if you aren’t careful. The staff don’t speak muck English, but they are very kind. Loi’s brother is on-site every day and he is fluent. The view from anywhere on this property is incredible. You can get lost in it! If you want to be close to all the Sapa conveniences this is not for you, (taxi costs 200,000 and takes 30mins to 1hr) but for a peaceful retreat &glimpse of rural life it’s perfect!

A wonderful stay in Sapa”

The hotel is located in the rice fields. When you woke up and looked out of the window, you could see buffalo mum and her baby grazing on the fields. This hotel is a must to nature lovers. Mr. Loi the owner of the hotel arranged everything for us, for example, the pick-up from Sapa Town to the hotel and trekking. Really enjoy the stay here.

Exceptional”

We stayed here for 3 nights. The owner, Mr Loi arranged everything for us, e.g. the transfer service from and to Sapa town and trekking. He knew that we wanted to se golden rice fields so he told our trekking guide Mimi to bring us to fields where rice had not yet been harvested. The 2-day trekking tours were well organised. Meals prepared by the hotel owner were yummy. The hotel is well set in the rice fields. When we woke up in the morning and looked out of the window, we could see a buffalo mum and her baby grazing in the rice field. Really enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

優點: View is so nice. and the staff is so friendly. I am highly recommend here to other guest. There are some dogs, cats and flowers. If you like animal and nature, please choose here. The breakfast is so nice and free. 缺點:If need, can ask them clean the room everyday and supply the water. Some food price is high due to in Sapa. If possible, can take some convenient noodle to eat there. Conclusion: Best staying place, highly recommend.

The owner, Loi is one of the best hosts i have ever met in my whole travelling life. He has an awesome, gorgeous guesthouse in Tavan Valley in the rice fields.If you plan to go to Sapa, spend just a night in the town and head down to the villages it is much more interesting and serene. We took the bungalow it was fantastic! It was so charming and clean, the interior is really good, i love the traditional yet modern feel to it. It over looks the whole valley, there is a verandah outside the room and the amazing view is to die for. Next to the guesthouse, in 3min walk there is a stream! Location is also good as it is only 2min walk to the centre of the village where you can find shops and restaurants. Loi also suggested us to have dinner at his other guesthouse, we had the traditional meal, it's really delicious. Thank you Loi for the wonderful stay and i will surely be back.

Un alojamiento rural en medio de los arrozales lejos del turismo masivo del pueblo de Sapa. La tranquilidad, las vistas y la gran colaboración del propietario que nos organizó sobre la marcha dos excursiones (Trekking y la visita del mercado Bac Ha) con guías excelentes de habla inglesa, hicieron de nuestra estancia una experiencia única y excelente.

Very nice and relaxed stay”

Loi, Sen and the team make a great job and have been very warm. The tour with a Motorbike driver was with a lot of satisfaction. The food was very good and after one day they know my preference of chilly. The bedheating was a big surprise and just great, because the time I was traveling was still cold and foggy. What else can I say! Just go by yourself and you will get the same impression. I really can recommend the Golden Rice garden! The location is so nice and peaceful if you do not want to stay in Sapa town, which is crowded, noisy and full of tourists.

Wir waren eine Nacht im Golden rice und es war wirklich toll. Wir hatten ein dreibett Zimmer und eine eigene Toilette in dem Gebäude selber. Ansonsten gibt es noch Hütten draußen mit gemeinschaftsbad. Die Lage ist absolut perfekt und die anfahrt dadurch schon ein Erlebnis. Man schläft wirklich mitten in den Reisterrassen. Leider war bei uns das Wetter nicht wirklich toll, was die Sicht erschwert hat. Das Personal ist absolut herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben so gefroren, dass direkt Feuer gemacht wurde. Heizung gibt es nicht. Das Essen ist auch total lecker und günstig. Die 3 Punkte für die Einrichtung sind nicht negativ gemeint. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Nur eben sehr spatanisch. Aber wirklich vollkommend ausreichend und sauber. Wir empfehlen dieses homestay jedem ohne Bedenken weiter. Jeder, der mitten in dieser schönen Landschaft sein möchte, sollte seine Zeit im golden rice verbringen
