I checked to the Golden Villa at 10:30 pm. Despite the lateness of the check in, the manager of the hotel came out to meet me, showed me all the exits and entrances to the hotel and gave me their personal number in event of me requiring anymore service regardless of the time. The hotel is smack dab in the middle of Sapa and easy walking distance to the night market, a host of restaurants and bars. If you've lived in Asia for a while rest assured the beds are soft as clouds. My only complaint, if it even can be called that, is that breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 8:30 am. However if your a night owl, don't fret to much, the hotel is within walking distance of many fine cafes that serve western breakfast at a later time. Overall a great hotel, with great service. Go and enjoy.

They present themselves as a 2 star but definitely better. I could check in early for a low extra fee. Breakfast was Vietnamese style. The room was big but no heating so a bit moist and cold. Lots of very hot water in the shower and sink so please care for the children. Staff was 50/50. Some friendly some a bit grumpy. Besides the cold room it was value for the cost.

During the winter I don’t recommend this hotel. The air conditioner didn’t warm enough and there wasn’t enough hot water in the shower. The breakfast is just Vietnamese food, and the hours of it were very early (until 08:30).

First bad experience”
Booking confirmed by Agoda but staff said they could not find the booking and we were told to leave the hotel the next day! During check-in, staff said there was no need to check the confirmation but then we had to repeatedly show them our confirmation email and booking confirmation everyday till the day we check out. Utterly disappointed with the way they handle things. Further the rooms wasn’t clean and shower heads not working.

Very good hotel in Sapa near to the Lake”
The hotel is good location near the town lake and just a few minutes walk to Sapa Station, where u can buy ticket to take train and cable car to Fansipan summit. Their food is good, we enjoyed our breakfast. And their service is the best, reasonable price with big room and full facilities. They also accepted our request for early check in by 7am as we took a sleeper bus there. Best value hotel in Sapa Town.

Great location & very friendly staffs. My father was fall sick at Sapa, the hotel pretty receptionist girl was helping us to call the hospital doctor to our room for checking & treatment. I am feel very gratefully to the pretty girls at counter receptionist which friendly & helping us. Nice breakfast also. Good recommend for this hotel. I will choose this hotel again if travel to Sapa again.
