Great place to stay”
It’s a good place to stay. Spacious parking area. Very near city mall and convenience stores. You can walk to Caribbean Water Park. If you are looking for night life, it’s just walking distance to bars and KTVs.

Clean hotel in a good area. Shopping and live music in the area. Lots of transportation and entertainment options. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and enjoyable. The staff are nice. The only downside is that they charged me a full extra night, at walk-in rate, for a late check out of 5pm. Other hotels in the area will only charge a late check out fee or possibly a half-day.

Its a pretty old hotel in the middle of the redlight district of Bacolod. But its pretty dead now there. Its a good choice if you want a cheap and reasonable hotel.

Service staff are very friendly and helpful, and professional. Hotel room is clean and good size. Internet wifi wireless and stable. Free access to nearby water slide park. Great outdoor swimming activities for leisure and relaxation. Pool size is huge and has few other smaller fun pools. Value for money. If choosing a hotel to stay within the Goldenfield area, Kundutel is the best choice. No regrets...!

Remote but reasonable Price”
The Kundutel was a bargain price so even though it was some distance from the city center I booked it for the weekend. There was a nice restaurant with live music across the road and a nearby Christian church for Sunday morning.

" Great Location for Night Life Enthusiast"”
If you are coming to Bacolod City and looking for fun, this is the right place to stay. You don't have to drive or take a taxi since the commercial complex is just right in front of the hotel. Most of the establishments opens very late. I did have a lot of fun! Hotel staff are so nice and helpful.

very convenient at the south part of Bacolod !choose the rooms at the back they are less noisy especially at the week end ,because the night life is at the front many parking available good welcome and good price ,rooms are very clean ! don't expect to have fridge or safety box ! late at night the night guard and the receptionist been sleepy so i don't know about the security ! breakfast are not include expensive and not so good forget it !

Once the darling of the Goldenfield area, but currently suffering from demise”
This area is going through some changes. I book this hotel as it's close to my family members, but if you are a traveler for business of leisure, I would recommend other hotels instead. Sugarland and Planta come to mind. Kundutel is old, needs renovation, and overall bad value considering the other better, newer hotels are less than $10USD additional per night. The staff are nice and the room is just good to sleep in, but not much else. This area is half run down and half up-and-coming, as there's a new SM-owned shopping complex just down the block. But the old eateries and casino closing down have left this area mostly empty. It's quiet, sure, since there's not much to do. There's a few strip clubs and massage parlors right next door, if you're into that kind of stuff. Small time red light district is what I would call the Kundutel area.
