I have now stayed at Grand Central Hotel a few times, and have always had a great experience. The rooms are clean and modern, with large screen tvs (with cable tv), new air-con, a large safe, and a reasonably priced mini-bar. The hotel is located in the centre of Fields Avenue, with lots of nightclubs, bars and restaurants within a short walk. There is also a large modern SM Mall only 1 km away. If you are staying in Angeles City for a few days, I would recommend trying this hotel.

Fantastic Hotel and service with a smile”
i booked this at the last minute and i am so glad i could get into this hotel. the place has recently been renovated and has new owners who are fantastic and are doing a great job, i honestly could not fault anything about my stay at this hotel everything was first class. staff amazing, spa room was great fun and out of this world, food was lovely, location is great right on fields avenue. seriously if you are considering staying in angeles you will not get anything better for your money than the grand central hotel.

Great hotel on Walking Street ”
What a great place to stay..... Grand Central hotel is more than fairly priced with nice comfortable rooms. You can't beat the location in the middle of walking street. The beds, couch, bathrooms, and balconies are all fantastic. There Gotham Restaurant is the best with all types of quality food and drinks at good prices.......all can also be delivered to your room through room service. The staff is great.....nice, friendly, and helpful. Great hotel.....have stay here on 10 separate occasions and will be back again.

I had a great stay in Angeles and was very pleased with the Grand Central Hotel. The room was very clean, the bed was nice and soft and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I also ordered food from the restaurant (lasagna) and it was pretty good. Highly recommended - BP

Comfortable room and very close to nightlife.”
I have stayed previously at Grand Central on several occasions. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located in the centre of Field Avenue, so you can easily walk to all the nightclubs and bars. There are 2 nightclubs and a sports beers garden (with a pool table) open 24hrs. Currently, the hotel is installing an elevator, which is nearing completion. Other reviewers have complained about construction noise, but I heard no noise during my stay. (Maybe I was just lucky). In any case, the workman only operate from about 10am until 4-5pm, so you can sleep well at night. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including a great Korean restaurant right next door, Paradise Beer Garden (open 24hrs with pool table and sport on multiple tvs), and McDonalds etc just around the corner. There is an SM Mall a short trike ride away (or you can walk). There are a few golf courses in the area, which are less expensive than in Baguio. I have only played Mimosa GC, which is quite a nice layout and not expensive. All in all, I recommend this hotel as you should have a pleasant stay and have lots of fun in the clubs. Hope this helps. Not perfect but dam good.”
This is basically very good value for money. I just hope the elevator has been finished by the time you get there. I had to walk up several stairs to the top floor and there was banging from the builders often until 8pm. If you want the night life as I did you could not possibly get a better location! My friend stayed at a five star hotel nearby and it didn't even have free wi fi and he said he would be staying at the Central next time he came to Angeles because he was so impressed with my hotel. The room has a balcony with a poor city view and I had to ask staff for a chair to sit outside. My kettle didn't work and had to be replaced. If these kinds of little imperfections worry you then this hotel is not for you. But the room design is classy and the location unbeatable and the staff great.

I just love this place...”
I always stay in the same room here. Just on the 2nd floor, with balcony looking over the "OLD"... "Viking Bar", which is now the "BAIKING BAR", as it has been taken over by the Korean hordes that now infest the place. Ghengis Khan has returned! Walking Street is not what it used to be. But this hotel is excellent. Good spacious, clean room. Wonderful friendly staff. The front Café is excellent to have right below my room. Not even too noisy. I will always stay here. Thank you Grand Central Team, see you again soon. Yes I will bring more chocolate!

A Great Little Place”
Grand Central is a small well located hotel with everything required within either a very short stroll or a quick tricycle trip. This is not the Marriott so don’t expect all the bells & whistles however it has all of the necessities you require for a modest comfortable stay. My original room at the rear of the hotel had construction work being done directly outside the window/balcony which was annoying & off putting as the curtains had to be closed during the day as the workman were 1 meter away looking directly in to the room, we exchanged pleasantries a number of times the first day & a half. Reception were good & very quick to assist me moving to another room at the front of the hotel the next day when a room became vacant. Although facing the street when the balcony doors were closed it was fairly quiet & private & a great little sanctuary. Great value for money, excellent location and staff”
The staff here were the standout for me, besides being in a perfect location with great amenities and hotel rooms. One in our group fell ill and the staff were absolutely amazing with helping us arrange hospitals and drivers, without their help my friend would have had to cut his holiday short. My 6th stay at GCH.”
This was about the 6th time I have stayed at Grand Central. As usual, the staff were excellent and the room was always presented very nicely. The new elevator was great, as I had heavy baggage. The other great benefit of GCH is that it has a 24hr reception (unlike some other hotels in the area), so you can always claim your room key and valuables from the office. In short, I again enjoyed my stay there.

I had a great stay at the Grand Central. The staff was really impressive as they clearly love their jobs. Alhough this hotel is on a busy street, it was quiet once inside the room,The hotel is new and is very clean. I have stayed at several hotels in AC, and this one is the best value that I have found.

Perfect location at Walking Street”
Perfect location for Angeles. The hotel has a nice cafe with good capuccino and good view of Walking Street. Had a spacious room on the 4th floor with view towards the backyard which was good, fairly quiet considering the area. Staff was very attentative and helped arranging bus transfer to Manila. Saw a note close to the elevator that the staff had their free meals cancelled because the hotel was suffering from difficult financial times. Hope things improve and they get back their free meals because they deserve it!

Grand Central is good for its Location”
Generally Grand Central is a good Hotel for its location. In the middle of Walking Street, Grand Central is just an ideal Hotel for those who loves noisy nightlife. The location approximately 25 minutes from the Airport. The SM Mall, shopping centre just a walking distance. To other places of interest just try the Tri Cycle or by Taxi to few good scenary places. The room is clean and the staff is very helpful.

The staff was very attentive, the room clean, the wifi worked flawlessly, and for the few times there was time for such activities, there was a nice selection of international TV channels to watch on the 42" tv. I find it hard to believe you could find a better deal in Angeles when comparing price to location and level of service. Will absolutely be staying there again.

Good hotel for partying”
I like the grand central. I have stayed there quite a bit and have gotten to know the staff who are all very friendly. The coffee shop is excellent with some of the best cakes i've had in Asia. The main downside is the noise. There is construction next door so I'd personally look elsewhere until end of january or so. The walls are also a bit thin so you will hear your neighbors in the hall. So book post January and you will be all good.

Nice hotel with a great location”
I would highly suggest you get the premium rooms, and not the rooms with the SPA/Sauna.. Why you ask? The sauna rooms dont have any Windows ;) The premium rooms have a balcony.. This hotel is very close to everything and is on walking street. If you come to Clarke you are likly here for the nightlife of Clarke (why else do people come to clarke).. I would suggest this hotel. Staff were friendly and polite (not to mention very cute), and i generally enjoyed my stay.

15 of us travelled (to enjoy the night life)with 4 of us stayed here and the rest in amstredam hotel and galaxy hotel. in terms of:- deluxe room: 1)amsterdam 2)grand central 3)galaxy location: all are located at the same street. no difference. service: grand central comes top. galaxy is last. if you have to chose between the above 3 hotels, go for grand central. choose the rear facing rooms.

brilliant hotel for a nightlife”
its was great, i love my huge room with a balcony which faced the road of the red light district area. The wifi connection in this hotel was great & very fast connection. The hotel staffs extremely helpful & friendly. This hotel is centrally located exactly in redlight district, so for those who are looking for that, this hotel is the right one ;) Food on the other hand, alot of good restaurants are just a walking distant
