Our First stay with Grand Hyatt Mumbai was "FABULOUS" we have booked our stay for a wedding Night and we were extremely skeptical about the safety and sanitisation of the hotel, wonderful from check-in was taken by Anushree and Sujay surprisingly we were been upgraded yo suite our Room was absolutely clean and very well made, Special mention Guest service officer Mr. Adnan Shaikh who are extremely guest oriented and it showed in his behaviour. Not to miss talking about the food Amazing!!! Truly service oriented, would highly recommend Hyatt to all future guests. All I can say is the training they receive must be exemplary. A big thank you to HYATT I would also like to share this review with the General & Hotel Manager of Grand Hyatt Mumbai- indeed has a great team :) Looking forward for another wonderful stay at "GRAND HYATT MUMBAI" Cheers..

The property is HUGE & the staff is very warm and welcoming”
This is by far one of the best 5 star hotel in terms of Service and Hospitality. Though the rooms are more suiting to the Business traveller. The Swimming pool, Gym are huge and fully equipped with trainers as well. The hotel also has a shopping plaza inside the hotel. The Breakfast spread and taste was amazing, though the main course at dinner could have been somewhat better in terms of taste(Veg food). Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. It was very comfortable and luxurious.

The rooms are clean tidy and spacious, all the facilities provided were top class, food is costly but any 5 star hotel has costly food I have had buffet breakfasts in Trident, Radisson Blu and Grand Hyatt out of which Radisson Blu was the best

Considering the way hotels have had to adapt to the situation these days, I believe I can say the stay was wonderful. Check-in took just a tad longer than I'd have liked, but it's nothing to be held against the staff as there were a considerable number of people checking in at the same time. The inclusions under our booking were early check-in, late check-out, breakfast and dinner, and a free room upgrade. At the time of check-in, we were told about where the meals would take place. I usually ask for a room upgrade, but didn't since it would have been offered were it available. A comment either way would have been appreciated though. After check-in, we were courteously accompanied to the elevators by the staff, a nice touch. The room was clean (especially the washrooms, which essentially drive any future bookings at a property) and outfitted with a lot of bottles of mineral water, always nice. The room had a bunch of qr-codes for the in-house dinning options. The only shortcoming I noticed in the room was there were no charging points on one side of the bed. The washrooms, as mentioned before, were really clean, but the shower was slightly inadequate, for lack of a better word. On a side note, I would also suggest providing bubble bath, or what's a bath tub for. The included meals were good, breakfasts being a shade better than the dinners. For our last meal, the chef brought us a nice dessert. Appreciate the gesture. All in all, it was a good relaxing stay. Thanks to the staff for regularly checking in on us and enquiring if everything was up to scratch.

Our experience at Grand Hyatt was smooth, right from the check-in process to check-out. The young man at the Front Desk at the time of my check-in at 2pm on 29th Jan was extremely affable and genuine in his efforts to give us the best room with a view even if it took a few minutes longer to find one. The breakfast haunt, Fifty Five East, had a decent spread of breads, cakes, pies, waffles, eggs, cold cuts, Indian fare, grilled veggies, cereal, fresh fruits and juices and beverages of course. The service was quick and accurate. Our dining experience at China House Lounge on the night of 30th Jan was relaxing to say the least, what with the ambient restaurant decor and the niche privacy of our table seating. The veggies-stuffed wontons in broth was a perfect choice as it served as a combo between an appetiser-cum-soup. Served in fine ceramic ware, chopsticks et al, and accompanying sauces (chilli flakes, sweet chilli, soya & chilli oil) the wontons went down like silk. When we weren't eating, we were busy sipping hot jasmine tea from an eye-catching silver kettle. We enjoyed first-rate, personalised service by the chef, server & captain of China House Lounge. As seafood is our favourite, we were recommended a main fare of wok-tossed xo prawns. The prawns were soft yet crunchy, nicely done without much ado. The accompanying saucy base allowed it to pair well with fragrant jasmine rice which made it a wholesome meal. it was interesting to check out a peking duck slow-roasting in the furnace and enjoyed an outdoor tete-a-tete in the China garden. Our experience at Celini, the Italian restaurant, was a dream. Chef Nishad not only dished out a delicious burrata salad but itsimpecaable presentation made it memorable. His pasta in creamy sauce was flavoursome, and the garlic toasted bread & buns made it a wholesome main course. As expected, Hyatt is good and is also cheap in Mumbai”
Everything about the Hyatt in Mumbai is good as expected except one issue which management said they are looking into: If you want to connect to wifi, you have to create a password and use that password for other devices. The password would not work on my 2nd device and the only instructions given were "contact reception." This is odd because in 2019 any other website or system allows you to reset a password. Reception then has to call IT, and on that night, many transfer to IT went unanswered or I was promised a call back in 5 minutes. I never received any calls back and did not get internet on my laptop until the next day. This isn't a ground staff issue: It's an issue with the software and password process, and it's an issue with the IT staff the Hyatt uses.

Pros- Good breakfast. Extremely helpful staff since they allowed me a late check out. Nice and clean rooms. Outside food and alcohol permitted. Cons- No visitors allowed. Very slow housekeeping service. The room cleaning people are annoying because they kept ringing the doorbell multiple times during the day.
