Arrived at Awana via Bus Check in time @ 1pm Shuttle Service - the hotel provides this service. Went to the First World Hotel Lobby @ 12.30 pm. The shuttle arrived and left on time. You can easily spot it as the van has the hotel’s name on it. It is a 15-min ride to the hotel. Payment is only RM 5 per ride. From hotel to First World Lobby - available from 10am til late night From First World Lobby to hotel - 10.30am til late night It is subject to change. Please check with the hotel directly. It doesn’t matter if you are the only passenger, it will leave on time. You may pay with the driver or at the hotel reception. However, I suggest you pay directly at the reception as they will issue you a receipt. For peak days like holidays or weekends, it would be better to make a reservation at your preferred time as the seats are limited. During the time of my stay, they only have 1 shuttle running. Not sure, if there are more. If I forget to schedule the return to the hotel, I just ride the shuttle anytime I want as long as it is not full, the driver will allow you. Looking back, this service makes everything convenient as I don’t need to think about how to go to/fro the hotel. Staffs are friendly and respond politely. Location It is very good as it is away from the crowd and it's peaceful. You don’t need to turn on the aircon as the weather is very cold. Room: It was kept in good condition. The room phone was not working. So I communicated with them via WhatsApp. They would acknowledge it and respond to your need the soonest. They also fixed my room phone as requested. Should you need anything fixed or need more toiletries, once you call the reception they respond quickly. My balcony door lock was broken. After reporting it and I came back from the mall, it was already fixed. On my first day, they knocked on my door and ask if I need additional water, tea or toiletries, etc. which they can provide you. However, the staff that knocked on my door was not wearing any mask,

- Beautiful, huge and clean rooms (we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite); view was not great. Opposite of construction site and further away you can see worn down Genting hotels and apartments. A bit creepy to look at. - Quick and simple check in and check out - Friendly staff - Options of eatery available. They have a few restaurants in the hotel compound as well as some food trucks and burger stall! Also available is MyNews. - We had dinner at Tavern in the Sky. Try out their BBQ selection, many takers on this. Food reasonably priced and good! - Breakfast buffet spread is good and delicious. - Indoor heated swimming pool opens till late. - They have nice common area to snap photos, as well as kids playground. - Location is away from the main Genting SkyPark area. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend anyone headed to Genting to try this hotel.

Value for money for such a clean and nice place”
Check in was swift and smooth. About 5 mins and I’m handed the keycards to my rooms! The place accomodates free parking as well, just have to bring your TnG cards to the front desk for them to validate and that’s it! Our rooms were in Tower 4 so its a little bit of walking and taking of lifts to reach Tower 4 but sometimes we get free buggy rides from entrance to Tower 4 :) Food is alright in their breakfast. Quite a variety of asian cuisine and overall acceptable! Staffs were very professional and polite, plus points for that. However, the hotel is situated higher than FirstWorld. So you’d have to either drive down or hire the Taxi/Limo down to FirstWorld. There are ready taxi/limo services and its about RM40 (4-5Pax) usually and RM60 (just +RM20 on top of original) for past midnight. Side note: They are also undergoing sales for their Residential side of the property: Grand Ion Majestic(?). Cool stuff to look at haha.

Stayed 2 nights end of Dec 2021. Pros 1. Clean and spacious - hotel room are clean and spacious. - comfy pillows 2. 10 stars service - my water heater was not working. I am very satisfied with the way the front desk deal with it. Within 10 minutes maintenance came to check and diagnose. Within 20 minutes I got a new key sent to my room and I got my room changed. 3. Friendly front desk staff - polite, well mannered, ready to help. 10 stars service. 4. Convenient - one "my news" shop just beside the hotel - first world hotel lobby is about 5 KM (10 mins) drive. Shuttle bus to and fro is readily available. Rm 5 per pax per ride. Do book early of the day to avoid disappointment. 5. Delicious food - wide variety of breakfast to choose. 6. Beautiful scenery Cons - no. Plz keep up the good work.

6 Stars for the hotel! Please take the time to read my review as I will try to be as informative as possible. Where to start…I booked this accommodation by chance and I am so glad I did. Genting Highlands is an amazing place and I thoroughly recommend that you put it on your “Bucket List”. I am a seasoned traveler and I must say the staff and service was second to none. I have stayed in the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore which is a 5 star hotel and the staff and service at the Grand Ion Delemen was leaps and bounds above the Fullerton. From the time I arrived I was greeted and offered a hot beverage and refresher towel before checking in. Check in was like a military operation where the staff worked efficiently and effectively to ensure there was no delay in organizing my room. The hotel is Halal which is fine by me as I do not eat bacon or pork etc. The rooms either faced the mountains or First World and I was fortunate enough to stay in both. Not enough room to put my full review.

Although the hotel is a bit far from the resort world (about 3km), it is a new hotel. So the room is new, clean and the bed is comfy for a nice long sleep. We definitely enjoy the breakfast buffet here, which are is very good taste. There are selections of malay, indian, chinese, and western foods although some are limited. In general, the food was great. Since the location of the hotel is on top of hilly area, the temperature is around 10 degree at night, which is a good place to experience cool environment. In short, we enjoy our stay here and cannot wait to come here again

pros: breathtaking scenery of mountain ranges and cloud top. the room that i stayed was clean and very comfortable. the temperature at night till early morning is around 13-14 degree celcius. the air is fresh and chilly. the misty hotel esp at late evening and night. breakfast at kembali kitchen has plenty of choices and good taste too. the shuttle bus service is facilitating me to commute to first world hotel lobby at night. cons: it is far from the mosque. the condition of road from the main gate to the hotel is quite dangerous and slippery if the weather is too misty.

I really love the hotel location. Its near with the skytropolis theme park about 10 mins away. Room is clean, the place is super amazing. The had a beautiful pool and also playground for the kids and even mini cafe to chill infront of the playground. The best is this place is cold and if you wish to have a beautiful view with some coldness this place is highly recommended! The interior also looks new and classy. will revisit again 👍🏻

Booking this hotel is One of my best decisions ever! (FYI i stayed in 3 hotels throughout my KL stay) I usually read reviews first before deciding which hotel to book, and of all the hotels in Genting, this has most of good ones. I dont know why some would have negative things to say, but for me, This hotel is beyond exemplary. Location is nice (10 mins away from resorts world genting, Very large rooms, with complete amenities, Super nice buffet breakfast (one of my looking forward to in every hotel stay) and breath taking morning view!! Shuttle service to and fro FW hotel is also a plus for me (you have to book in advance) Staff are approachable and courteous. Indoor pool is also nice. All in all, its a 10/10 for me! Would definitely stay here again on my next genting trip ☺️

Nice room, very cool especially during rainy day. No need to turn on aircond. Tasty breakfast, nice view during breakfast. Perfect view from room. Good service from staff. But I'm not comfortable during my stay because next door customer make noise, talking louder. So annoying. I don't know who come and stay for seminar or something like that. They also Press door bell like crazy. I don't know why. So stress actually. Better booked there when no seminar/meeting done there.

clean room, nice breakfast selection. however we hope to get a non connecting room next time. Gloria ones are more spacious & better. The couple next door was arguing for the entire stay. we could hear them throwing things & shouting at one another. inconsiderate people. but overall bed is comfy, room is clean, breakfast was full of good selection & the staffs are good in managing the crowd. nice indoor heating pool & gym facilities.

The room was comfortable, the view is great if it's not too foggy, the breakfast buffet was amazing with a view too! There are a few dining choices at night if you don't wish to travel out for dinner and there are convenience stores on the ground floor. Parking is also spacious. However, expect an extra number of tourists during the peak season and it can be a tad bit noisy around the compound. Other than that, everything was value for money.

I am highly recommend to stay at Grand Ion Delemen 5 star Hotel, the room is modern and very comfortable compare to the First World Hotel. Every 1 hour they provide free shuttle bus to the First World Hotel lobby. Friendly staff serve you like family members. Breakfast is so delicious. I enjoy the nature with my family, this place give me unforgettable beautiful memory. I will come and stay again.

Everything is still new so the room and facilities are very comfortable and beautiful, staffs were also very friendly and nice. Breakfast was excellent with lots of varieties and always topped up. there are few food trucks at night in front of the hotel if you dont feel like eating dinner outside. The place is quite high up hill, so its colder than other places with gorgeous views.

Love to stay this hotel. Here are the pros and cons from my view; Pros: - cleanliness tip top - staff friendly and helpful - facilities very good. Also provide dirty laundry basket in bathroom Cons: - please provide breads and half cooked eggs selections for breakfast - road to hotel is confusing. If you drive at night, please be careful due to narrow road - air cond not functioning. I did not use air cond due to cold weather.

Love this place (near to genting theme park, approximately 5mins drive) Located at the highest peak (M'sia book of record Highest Altitude Full Fledge Service Apartment - 5956.36 feet) Ample parking within the building Free Shuttle bus to Genting Theme Park Clean (obviously, as it is a new premises) No worry if you feel hungry at late nite, as there is 24hrs groceries shop "MyNews" located adjacent to the lobby Foods are pleasant Staff helpful Check-in & out are smooth Breakfast up to 11 a.m and saw they still top-up even its already 10.30 a.m. Warm water swimming pool TV channel just right (satellite tv; local channel, ASTRO, Vission Four) Overall experience are delightful Definitely will come again

stayed for 1 night with our 5 yr old son. they had many activities like a play center which we had to pay to play the arcade games, an outdoor playground and their indoor pool. unfortunately we were not able to use the pool as there was a malfunction and the water was cold. there was a kids play room but we did not use it. room was excellent , view amazing. had some issues with the hot water in the morning. it stopped half way during shower. breakfast was good with a wide variety of cuisines. however room service was slow. best part was the hourly shuttle to first world plaza.it was free ,prompt and hassle free.
