From an initial 5 days stay for business , i decided to extend another 3 days at this property for my lesiure and sightseeing. ! The extension speaks volume. 1. Staff a Shout out to these individuals Ms Moni @ Reception Mr Izrat @ Reception Aizzel - The restaurant host Florie Ann - The restaurant host Vincent - Resturant Manager Nishin - Chef Islam- Chef from Iran Miron - @ Reception - he's exceptional all of them went about doing their tasks with great passion and dedication and always there for you . The hotel is fortunate to have them ... in particular Miron - went the extra mile always to attend to my requests and needs. An example was he ensured that i have a bucket of ice each time i came back to the room for me to ice my injured shoulder. 2. LOCATION its just next to two big malls - easy access to shopping, restaurants and supermarket . and its central to other parts of Muscat . thats one of the other key raeson why i decided to extend the stay there, instead of going to any of the more established resort hotels by the beach , which i had initail bookings too. 3. Property clean and spacious rooms. Aircon can be a bit cold though 4. Breakfast a wide selection of local and european fare daily. keeps you full till evening . I would defintely recommened this property anytime. Thanks to all the staff mentioned above.. You all have made my stay like home.

Brilliant 5 star hotel”
the hotel is a little out of town... away from Souq Mutrah... but it is a fantastic 5 star hotel... two large malls are a walking distance away... The rooms are large and comfortable... food and beverage are excellent and all amenities are at a high standard... a nice small pool is located on the top floor and an outdoor entertainment and eating area is located on the ground floor

grand millenium did not disappoint. they carried their flagship very well. from the moment we checked in, Mr Miro was very helpful. 5 star for the great effort in assisting us. the hotel as well is very clean. spotless! the bathtub doesnt have any scales at all. overalll the stay was very comfortable. the lobby and hallway feels so brand new. loved our weekend getaway!

As well the hotel was extremly accomodating as we had a night flight and they provide us with the facilities. The hotel is very well located. The rooms are clean. The staff is very helpful. The only negative thing is the lack of proper maintenance. Some lighting appliances were broken and items in the bathroom were not properly maintained.

Great Stay In Muscat”
Had an excellent stay at this hotel for a few days in February. Nice location with several malls nearby, comfortable rooms and easy parking. Loved the shower and breakfast was more than adequate to get the day started. First impression was a little odd. No one was at the entrance to greet or take my luggage. After sheepishly parking in front of the lobby, 1 chap came and said it's fine to park but didn't offer to take my luggage or suitcover. Not an ideal impression for a first visit to this hotel. Another point where i felt that the standards dropped below that which i've become accustomed to in a 5* hotel is the cleaning service. It just felt amatuerish. Empty shower gel bottles would be left behind, replenishments were scattered (4 shampoos one day and no showergel). It's a minor complaint and wouldn't stop me from recommending this hotel to others, but I feel management needs to get some training in there to lift the standards to meet expectations.

The location was perfect for shopping and dining. However, I wouldn’t stay here again as this is a dry hotel aka no alcohol. The issue I had upon arrival was we were put into a room without a working phone, no iron, hair dyer, nor tv remote. Of course this is a housekeeping issue, but it was frustrating bc the front desk didn’t want to accommodate a room change immediately. We had to wait on a repair man to come for the phone, then room service to bring up the remaining items. There is no nightlife at this hotel either.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The street food market was also very good. What is not clear to travelers who occasionally like a Glas of wine is that this is a dry hotel. But the Ibis a few hundert metres away offers drinks and also great roof top parties over new year. Enjoy your stay.
