Location & Priceless room view ”
Best location within walking distance from Main bus terminal and Lake Toya. What I love most is the priceless room view facing Lake Toya Mt Usu & Yotei just right at my window! Come with Breakfast and free hotspring definitely worth the price paid for. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Neighborhood hotel will not have the same price for sure! TQ for the great memorable stay!!!

Ryokan not hotel.”
We are happy with stay. This is ryokan not hotel. Just some point to take note. Toilet outside the room. Gent toilet no heater. Bathroom have to go onsen. Min amenities available at both onsen & room. Breakfast not buffet style. Balcony has a pillar blocked 1/3 of the lake view. Lift available. Shoes off within building.

Hotel with a nice view”
All rooms r facing the lake, so view from balcony is great. NO early check in was available so had to wait until 3 pm. Theres a restaurant in the hotel itself but serves more of Japanese menu. Breakfast is also Japanese. NO western options available. Location was good to take a cruise trip. Food options are available nearby. Bus terminal is also 5 mins walk from hotel.

A Ryokan with a great view”
The Granvillage Toya Daiwa Ryokan Annex is a great place to stay at lake Toya. It is by the lake and offers a great view in the morning. We were staying there in late autumn, and in the morning we were greeted by the view of the beautiful lake with a snow capped mountain in the background. After some rain, you may also catch the rainbow, like what we saw in the afternoon. This is an excellent hotel for the family. Nearby - there are lots of good restaurants that are walking distance away. We opted for both breakfast and dinner to be included, but we had tea and lunches nearby. It was a great experience for the family.

Summer at Lake Toya”
We were very happy with the spacious tatami room at Granvillage Toya Daiwa Ryokan Annex. We traveled in a group of 3 ladies and shared one room. The lovely cotton robes (yukata) was comfortable for us to wear to the basement for our bath and Onsen every day. This location was within walking distance to local marts and restaurants. We spent one evening down at the garden side to watch the sunset while eating our dinner bought from Seicomart!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!”
Super awesome! Daiwa Ryokan Annex is just 3 mins walk from the Toyako Onsen Bus Terminal. (I took the 2h45mins) direct bus ride from Sapporo Bus Terminal.) Check-in starts at 3pm but that's cool as we took a leisurely stroll along the lake side and a longer than usual lunch. View is fantastic from the hotel room that faces the lake. We could watch the fireworks show directly from our room every night. A point to note though: There is NO toilet and showering facilities in the room. There is a basin in the room for brushing teeth/washing face. Toilets are shared for guests on the same level. The toilets are clean, so all is good. As for showering, we had to use the shared onsen/bath area at basement 1. Male and female onsens are separated as you had to remove all clothings to enter the onsen. Other than the initial awkwardness, we enjoyed the experience very much. (Shower foam and shampoo are provided) I had dinner and breakfast included in my package. As I stayed for three nights, the menu was alternated. First night was the grilled lamb (Genghis Khan set) while we had pork shabu shabu for the 2nd nigh. The menu repeats on the 3rd night. Those who love meat will definitely enjoy the dinners. Breakfast was fantastic for me. All in all, a fantastic stay! Highly recommended!

Great value for money”
Booked the hotel for a stopover between Hakodate & Noboribetsu. It was not a typical ryokan but a simple place with good food (Genghis Khan) for dinner and breakfast (japanese breakfast set). Didn't find not having toilet or shower in room inconvenient. View of lake toya from room is great. There is a free public foot bath right in front of hotel with view of lake toya. It was quiet in end Dec and we could play freely with the vast field of snow - build snowman, snowball fight, etc without disturbing others. Felt homely like a Taiwan homestay (民宿) & the staff working there were friendly too.

Amazing view from the balcony”
If u catch a bus fr JR Toya, remember to purchase a return tkt fr the tkt counter at the Stn. Cheaper than paying two single trips. Dont get off at the bus terminal, but Sakura-machi, one stop afterwards. The ryokan is to the left of the bus sign. Warning: the toilet is not inside the room but at the middle of the corridor. Dont forget to change ur slippers too. One thing I must say is the plastic cups provided werent very clean. I decided not to use it at all. The pros of this ryokan is the balcony and the Lake Toya view. Firework displays are on every evening at 8:30pm. Dont miss out. There is a PO and a convenience store opposite. could send some postcards or buy some snacks if u need to.

Value for money, Great View”
We rented a car and drove there. It's very easy to find. It's value for money. if you are looking for clean ryokan experience with tight budget, this is your answer! At first I worry having no shower in the bathroom would be an issue but it's not. I booked a tatami room and there's toilet inside the room. Since it's a must to enjoy the hot spring, you don't need the shower in room. They serve decent breakfast and dinner. Not a big wow but there's not many choices around the Lake Toya at night. We didn't regret to take half board option at all.

Cosy stay with nice lake view”
Overall, the stay at the ryokan is delightful. We never thought of going to lake toya during our visit in Hokkaido. However, we decided to had one night stay at lake toya as we're driving from Hakodate to Sapporo. The room comes with a majestic view of the lake and you can enjoy the daily firework show. The area had so much to offer and explore like earthquake trail, craters and also near to mount usu.

Very good”
Bus stop just in front of hotel. Carpark is free, toilet located at every floor, bathroom at b1 attached with onsen, okay for us but in my opinion the amount charged pretty high side should have bathroom or breakfast included. The view from room window is spectacular can watch fire work from room window... lake toya is Just behind the hotel.. if you are going to Sapporo from lake toya the main bus station just 3 min walk from hotel toyako onsen terminal taking bus is cheaper Y2720 per pax but you have to make reservation 1 day before go to the station speak to the tourist information center just need to provide your name, date and time.
