My husband and I stayed at this hotel for only a night as we are only in London to see a show. I was looking for a cheap hotel near Zone 1 so that we don't need to travel long. I wasn't fussy about what hotel as long as we can get a cheap and clean accommodation. The hotel has surpassed all my expectations. The room was clean and comfy, shower was amazing, there was complimentary cereal and juice in the fridge, and coffee and tea facilities. Plus, here was a small table and chair for us to use which made the room appear to be like a suite. Perfect! I would definitely book with them again.

Lodge Drive Apartments were spacious and decor exactly as you see in the pictures. All equipment were state of the art, from automatic floor lights in the free car park, automatic lights in the apartment, kitchen equipment, washing machines that spins clothes completely dry to beautiful bathrooms. Every one of the staff were wonderfully helpful and really polite and friendly. Loved staying there. Will definitely stay there every time we visit London. Thank you everyone of the staff for making our trip so enjoyable.

We stayed at this B&B for a three-day visit to London. It was a nice place about a third mile from an Underground station on the Picadilly Line and convenient to all London locations. Not a fancy neighborhood, but safe and comfortable, with shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Very comfortable lodgings at a great price and with a good breakfast and a friendly hostess.

Travelled to London after a 6 hour journey to be met by very nice receptionist. Check in very efficient and quick. Room was nice and clean. Met by loud noise though in the next room by a couple. " need I say more" . Stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately I was up nearly all night due to drunks outside my window from 2 am till 8 am. Saw no security to move them on. The second night was met by doors banging all night by people not being courteous to shut them quietly. The room walls are very thin so every time someone plugged something in you heard everything. Don't know what the person next door was doing but this went on a lot. The location is very good. And the Place is convenient for a lot of things. Unfortunately I will not be staying again. I have stayed in a lot of places, this was not the most uncomfortable place to stay and inside was nice if was just the noise and 2 nights of hardly any sleep. I was not happy.

We arrived half an hour after the suggested check in time. No one there to greet us. When someone did come he had a heavy foreign accent which was difficult to understand. The apartment was still being cleaned despite the previous occupant having to check out prior to 11. We were shown into the parking area which was a court yard behind the building and not a car park. Once we had driven in, no one else could get out, meaning we were called a couple of times thought our stay to come and move the car, once at half 8 in the morning! When you are in central London, a half hour tube ride away we said no. The apartment itself was clean, although some of the skirting boards could do with a lick of paint. The bed was very large, but the duvet was too small for it so you had to sleep close together to cover both occupants. The bathroom was lovely but the shower holder was broken so you had to hold the shower head throughout, meaning the floor got quite wet and the shower screen was rendered useless. All round it was good for the money and location, but not a four star hotel, not a hotel at all really.

needed a hotel in this location as visiting a relative nearby who unfortunately didn't have room to put us up. apparently this is a reasonably priced hotel for london but it was very basic. no hangers in wardrobe! no shelf or table by sink (awkwardly positioned in corner of room) to put toiletries on whilst washing. no glass/plastic cup for drink of water. no tea or coffee-making facilities but could live with that. shower actually in corner of room. had to go to reception to request hairdryer. 2 toilets down corridor and a few steps, one separated by connecting wall to someone's room, the other with a dodgy lock. not even a simple hook on bedroom door to hang coat/bathrobe. room in need of a really good clean. would not stay here again.

My girlfriend and I turned up in the morning after a long night out in London and were offered an early check in. The French guy was very well mannered and done everything he could to help our needs. We have stayed here a few times in the past and have never had any trouble ordering a drink at the bar, however the guy working the next night shift was trying to refuse to serve my girlfriend any drinks because someone he was too busy sorting out breakfast at 3:30am? We both found him rude and unhelpful. He seemed to hate his job. Overall it was a good stay.

Good but could be improved. Hard to find entrance a night. A welcome food pack with long life or powdered milk would be appreciated. No soap in bathroom. Sink water wouldn't work. Bedside clock/radio wouldn't plug in. Heated towel rail wouldn't work. Direct dial wouldn't work to report problems an none in the office either. Having said all that I wold consider it next time if assured problems fixed.

we stayed here as it was local to a family wedding we were attending, good food, friendly staff. no towels in room when we arrived. waited 40 minutes for towels to be brought to room in the end went to reception for them. Only one night worker on reception in such a large Hotel..?? everything was good as expected. staff in restaurant were kind and friendly despite been very busy.

Booking for standard room but not ready until after 11:30 am I was tooken mobility room in stread because long journey need the rest only a few hours then check out . I was disappointed because on booking requested form not tell me what is time I can check in and check out. only ask me what is time I will arrive I did said between 9-10 am . When I get there I got to wait for 11:30 am but a staff said only room available after 11 am is mobility room is ok I take it because need rest . The price higher then other hotel thought will be the best in London but disappointed.

the hotel was well situated as i drove to london and meant i did not have to drive into central london as the hotel provided a free shuttle bus to the nearest tube station at brent cross.which was very handy as the olypics were on during my stay.the room was spacious and well equipped.the huge shopping centre of brent cross was a short walk from the hotel providing many many shops.the restaurant at the hotel was very nice and the food excellent if a little pricey all in all though an excellent hotel.

Was extremely disappointed when I had to pay an extra £20 to get my room at 12:30 pm when i actually requested it when I booked the room. Was even more disappointed when there was no hot water in the room the next day and had to wait about an hour to finally go on the trip to the room around the corner to showered. The staffs is polite and the hotel is very clean. But still, an other £20 or booked the room for 2 nights were my options to get in before 2pm... it’s s just not right knowing that breakfast is not including anymore... now, that’s just like flying with Ryan air ... shame really!

I have stayed here a few times over the years when my family has visited me in Chingford or when I've come back to visit. I often choose this hotel because it's in the middle of Chingford and their prices are pretty decent. Most of the staff are very nice and welcoming, though there are a couple of them who are snappy and seem very uninterested. As one would expect the interior is outdated, which isn't really a huge issue. Though the showers and toilets are often tricky to use. There is no mini fridge in most of the rooms, which is an inconvenience. The cleaners start working around 7am and since the rooms are so close to each other it is difficult to avoid being woken up by them. There is a lot of talking among the employees at this hour, the vacuumer is loud, and a lot of doors get slammed shut. It's hard to get a sense of privacy when people seem to forget that their guests are sleeping. The hotel has someone on "call" during the night, so if you come back late you have to wait for them to open the main door for you, which is so awkward. Whenever you leave the hotel you're required to leave your key behind, which is also an inconvenience. It'd be a lot more comfortable being able to take the key with you, and also if the hotel didn't lock its doors overnight. Seeing how this is a small hotel with fairly old features, it is pretty clean. I've never experienced a dirty room of any sort. Most of the staff are very helpful.

A very nice hotel, clean and very helpfull staff. The bar resturant was good with a nice menu selection. Not too pricey. The room was a nice size with all the amenities you would expect from a hotel in this price range. Good selection of wines and descriptions. We had to leave early in the mornig so did not have time for breakfast, but 1 expect it would have been as good as the quality of the meal that we had in the evening.

I chose this location as it was close to my son's house. Tube is close and in 30 min you would be in the centre . I was fully satisfied - cannot complain about anything. Room spacious clean and comfortable - even has an airconditioner when weather is warm.Would recommend to any one who wants to be in a quiet area yet a short trip to the centre. Very efficient free wifi in room as well.

Central Hotel Golders Green is in quite a good suburb. It is about half an hour on the tube from central london, in zone 3. The place needs some painting and decorating, but if you need a cheap place to stay for several days then you could do worse than this. It is a bit of a hassle walking the 5-10 minutes back to town for restuarants etc. They also have free wi-fi that is reasonably reliable.

We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a very friendly smile and lots of assistance, which was repeated continuously during our 10 day stay. The surroundings are delightful, an oasis of calm in the midst of suburbia. The room, although on the smallish side, which is to be expected in European hotels, was nicely furnished and had a fridge as well as a very well equipped bathroom. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the tube, Hendon Central, and a bus stop right outside. There is also a lounge area with a wide variety of drinks, cakes, biscuits and fruit available day and night at no additional cost. The only downside from our perspective was the lack of a restaurant, although a continental breakfast is available. There are many restaurants nearby, however it would have been nice to have been able to have a meal with family at the hotel. Would definitely stay again as we intend to do so on our next visit!
