A Gem”
This is a wonderful place with a rustic charm that's perched on the river enticing you to bird watch, listen to gibbons, watch boats and RELAX. Good food and service, friendly staff and a comfortable bed. Recommend buying ferry tickets the day before if wanting to go into the park early in the morning.

Peaceful Paradise”
After a long trip from Saigon's hustle and bustle this was the best place to chill and relax while very close to the entrance to Cat Bien National Park. The staff were friendly, happy and helpful with good English skills and knowledge of the Park. The food and service was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again!

Love this green lodge”
Great location, nice food, green design (esp no aircon in the room). But need to have the board or paint the depth of the pool. I thought it is for kids but actually quite deep. Moreover all the tole proof need to be replaced by cottage/ tile which are more environment friendly

Can’t beat it”
Great charming bamboo bungalows overlooking the river, super helpful and friendly staff, and excellent restaurant. What more could you ask for? Oh, and then there’s the ridiculously inexpensive price.

Stunning Location”
Really convenient to visit the park right by the river crossing. A short walk from the bus drop off point. You can get the bus back into town from the end of the road if you ask.

Excellent location, staff and value”
Stayed three nights in the budget "deluxe double river view" thatch accommodation, one of four new units on the riverbank. Deluxe it was not, very basic room and structure but ideal for me. No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities or drinking water supplied. Hot water is supplied to the shower but it never arrived for me, apparently it takes a VERY long time from the solar tank. Two hammocks and a table on the spacious veranda on the riverbank directly overlooking the Dong Nai river and into Cat Tien Park opposite. All the staff are superb, from reception desk to waitresses; very friendly, warm smiles and good English. Breakfast included and had a very good selection, fresh fruit if you want but coffee was not included. The restaurant served a good selection again of evening meals and cold beers. A short walk, 200m or so, to the ferry point to the park and some nice basic local cafes/shops and 0.5km walk into the village itself. Good wifi. Excellent all round for me.

Basic but very very cheap”
The price is so low that it is hard to be critical of anything, but I'll compare this place to 'Green Hope Lodge' where I was last week. Comparable price. My main issue with 'Green Hope' was the racket made by roosters in the morning, which nobody commented on so maybe it's just me. Room had a fan but I found it oversized and too noisy. Green Hope had a much bigger room with a place to hang yor clothes etc. Also a much smaller, family owned place with the son speaking very good English, though he didnt seem that friendly to me. Green Bamboo is a better location right on the river, quieter (could hear roosters in the morning but pretty far away), much bigger with a variety of ages, mostly European and Australian, with a bigger menu. As you probably read in the reviews these aren't 5 star hotels. This is for nature lovers on budget, and if you want a/c forget about it! But being in the country it does cool off st night to maybe 22 degrees and not as humid

Lovely river side hut”
Our stay was wonderful! Staff are incredibly accommodating and helped us with anything we needed. Our bamboo hut was not very sound proof but allowed us to hear the birds and monkeys each morning!

A good option in Nam Cat Tien”
We stayed in river view room which is nice for couple. There were rats on the roof of the room and they made noice during the night! We woke up every night and made sound to scare them! The toilet is okay but they should clean it to make it brighter.

Good spot”
Pretty good value for a private room. Having the restaurant there is convenient, and the food is good. The service was a little slow at times, but overall good. The people that work here are friendly and helpful as well. The room was nice with a good size bed, air con, a balcony with a hammock and chairs. I didn't like that there was no mirror in the bathroom, there was not hot water, and there wasn't anywhere to put trash(I just used a bag).

interesting experience and great value”
Staff were friendly and the food in the restaurant really good. Had a room with river view and while it was fine you are in the jungle. So there are bugs and facilities are very basic. Did the river cruise at night and saw a few moneys and bird species but was just great to get out in the open and cool air.

Amazing cabin on stilts ”
Amazing cabin on stilts overlooking the river. Staff were really nice helped book tours and transport to HCMC. location is a 2min walk to the ferry which takes you into the park. Dinner at the lodge was delicious. Would highly recommend

The lodge is very close to the national park entrance and has beautiful cabins overlooking the river. A very peaceful place with good breakfast.

Very good experience”
We got nice experience at the hotel. The decor is special, the staff is good. Very near to Nam Cat Tien, just via a small ship. We got unexpected upgrade from Stadard room to Triple room, which is very nice to my kid. Thanks

The location is great. The food is quite good. Cheap and cheerful. Peaceful as well. Enjoy listening to gibbons in the morning.

Cheap and lovel”
The accommodation is a bamboo hut very close to the river! The beds are comfy and they provide a mozzy net but the showers are cold. The food at the restaurant is good and reasonably priced although they often ran out of things on the menu such as bananas smoothies. The tours offered are extremely poor! We did the animal sanctuary and the night safari! The animal are kept in tiny cages such as the bears and the monkeys are bored and sad. If you want to pay 14 Canadian dollars to see a couple of deers then go ahead but the tour lasts about 1 hour and in my opinion not worth it!! The staff were friendly although we asked if there was any more restaurants near by and she said no.... we took a 2 minute walk and found 4?? Good value for money but feel slightly scammed with the tours and staff! Beautiful area though
