Best choices staying outside cat tien ”
We decided to stay here because reading lots of good comments. We found that this Homestay is really good ! They help to arrange bus from dalat to national park and also arrange bus to hi chi ming. They provide good food especially for the dinner. Coffee is the best, I drank everyday. The room is big and clean. You can enjoy sleeping next to hammock. They also provide us the ticket to go to national park on the second day because I have to go into national park at 0600. They provide boat trip in a reasonable price. We enjoy staying there so that we extended our stay. They also help us to print visa and flight ticket. We so glad that we were in cat tien and stayed there :) thank you ! The best place we stayed so far in Vietnam

Perfect weekend getaway”
We came to Green Lodge for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very basic but are clean and comfortable. There is a lovely view of the river from the deck a short walk away from the room and it is a very relaxing place to be. The staff are friendly and the host went out of his way to help us and give us any information we may need. We also really enjoyed the dinners they offered and there's a good variety of options for vegetarians.

Great quite resort on the river!”
I had a great stay at Green Hope Lodge. I came in the off season and the entire town was really slow and sleepy. The resort was doing renovations but kept the work far from guests. They have a numerous hammocks looking over the beautiful river providing a great place to relax. Perfect spot to come and relax and take a break from the city. Great value for your money the resort is right on the river and full of wonderful plants. The owner is very friendly and speaks English very well. If you are need help with anything in the area I'm sure he'd provide assistance. I've stayed at the big homestay right across from the national park and this is much better. I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic stay in double room”
We loved our stay. Easy to access the national park (We rented bikes and walked the final part to crocodile lake and also did the gibbon sanctuary tour). Luan the host was very helpful providing us with lots of information about the park and yours tours. He works so hard! The evening meals were delicious. The room was very spacious and clean with a big comfy bed and mosquito net. Thanks for everything.

Excellent staff”
Staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The son even wrote down his phone number so he could translate for us when we had to visit the dentist. The place was basic but clean with mosquito nets and fans - everything we could have asked for! Also very convenient for the park, just a ten minute walk and a boat ride that took about 30 seconds. Cannot rate highly enough.

Amazing stay in peaceful area ”
We enjoyed our stay very much in this gorgeous lodge by the river . Very close to cat tien national park. The wooden house was comfortable nice and clean. our host was lovely and VERY helpful, he gave us a lot of information for our stay and helped us to find the lodge easily. We recommend it !!

Exceptional”
We had a fantastic stay here. Luan is an amazing host and was so helpful in every way making our visit very special and stress free. Would highly recommend staying here. Food is also great! . Also situated on the river so you can hear the forest alive early in the morning and at night whilst relaxing on a hammock. Luan is the best.

Staff were super helpful, available and accommodating. One of the dogs bites but only in the kitchen so be careful (got me on the elbow when I was getting water). Great location, the early morning boat tour was amazing! There was a weird smell in our room (kind of like waste water) and the shower head was a bit mouldy but overall we had a great time and were very happy :)

This accommodation did the trick for one night however, we had no hot water and there were a lot of bugs in the room. It is more rustic.

Green Hope Lodge provided a very relaxing and peaceful stay in Nam Cat Tien. Our room was situated just infront of the river, and around the lodge are small pavilions with benches, armchairs and hammocks. Although the Cat Tien jungle across the river is the main attraction, you could basically spend the whole day here in Green Hope, lying in a hammock under the shade of bamboo with the cool forest winds blowing and doze away with the chirping of birds and a distant humming of a nearby rapids.

We stayed here for three nights after reading good things about Cat Tien Park on Lonely Planet. Green Hope Lodge was fantastic, Luan, Nhu and Luan's family were really friendly, very helpful and gave an honest opinion about the national park. The rooms were clean, spacious, overlooked the river and had decent mosquito nets. They served us dinner for all three nights and it was unfailingly excellent. Authentic Vietnamese food, picked out each day by Luan, in massive quantity. Best food we have had on our 2 month trip so far! Luan was also very helpful on getting the right bus to Cat Tien, answering an email quickly and also for booking our onwards journey. Overall we had a fantastic stay with them. However the Cat Tien National Park is a different story (see seperate thread) but the Green Hope Lodge made our visit worthwhile!

Lovely location with even lovlier staff”
Beautiful grounds with corn fields, multiple fruit trees, pretty flowers, etc. Right on the river across from Dao Tien so you can hear the Gibbons Monkeys sing in the morning, just spectacular. Probably the best and friendliest customer service we've ever had. It started prior to our visit with multiple phone calls with our driver (coming from Saigon) as Cat Tien is not the easiest place to find. From our arrival till departure the staff treated us like family. Being a holiday weekend it was quite busy (for Cat Tien anyway) and we watched as they handled all sorts of sizes of visitors and all sorts of kinds of visitors, taking care of them all. Room was roomy enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. If visiting Cat Tien you are not there for the room anyway but ours was fine and looked right out onto the river. Definitely will return to Green Hope Lodge.

I loved my stay here. Only problem I had was getting hot water for shower. Also TV might be handy just to catch up on the news of the world. I really wanted to see some monkeys or gibbons. Despite starting off early as recommended I never saw any. When I was there I could hear plenty of gibbons. I still enjoyed a guided tour, 400,000 dong, for a 4 or 5 hour , 7 km trek through the jungle. The plant life and trees were very interesting as well as the insects. I will return to Cat Tien national park if only for the peace and tranquility. Last but not least, I must thank Luan of Green Hope Lodge and his mother. Lovely people. Luan knows English very well and he is so helpful with whatever you need. I would return there but I like to review different places for now.
