Pleasant hotel”

The rooms were clean and there is a large car park for guests to park for free. Rooms have view of Lake Biwa. As requested, we had all 5 rooms adjacent to one another. However, on the night we arrived, the staff manning the reception could not understand English at all so it took longer than usual to check in. The breakfast was a disappointment.

It was good ”

I had a good time. Cleaning staff was alittle loud during the morning but it was okay. Bike rental was included with the booking and it was a good location from the station. Walkable to Nagahama castle and same with Nagahama square.

Onsen wasn’t available ”

I booked this hotel after a day cycling. I was looking forward to using the onsen. This was unavailable :( Also the room was small

Bothersome of room key”

(1) Whenever I have to go out, I am obliged to give the room key back to the counter. It is quite bothersome. (2) When I entered the room, the bed was a little bit dirty. (3) However, the location of the hotel is quite good. It is close the train station, the park and the castle. It is also relatively cheap. If you don't mind the hotel is a little bit old and the bothersome of the key. It would suggest it is a good place to stay.

Great location”

Very close to Nagahama station. Very clean. Nice sized rooms and comfortable bed.

Excellent”

Ordinary from outside but this hotel satisfy me a lot. Big room, nice outdoor onsen, nice staffs and free car park. It is a bit remote from train station but it is very convenient for drivers. It is a 5 min walk to Biwa Ko lake and 10 min to a tiny castle

the location of the hotel is good, and the price is really okay. they have free hot spring and free coffee to provide.

Lake view is actually tree line view...”

I booked a room, with so called "lake view"... False advertisement. Small windows have a view towards a tree line and the tops of 2 nearby hotels. Only if you go really close to the window (over the desk which is in front of it) and look far to the left you can spot some part of the lake. We staid in 5th floor out of 8, last floor being with a cafe or something like that. Very disappointing considering we chosen the hotel for the lake view. Otherwise it was ok.

The room is rather small but very clean. Good location and nice staff. Free bicycle for ride.

Unassuming small business hotel”

Near Nagahama Castle, very nice yakitori/izakaya in the same building… small but decent onsen (incl. outdoor)… free coffee at the reception, ample parking space

Exceptional”

The hotel is amazing. My room's view is stated as the partial lake view when booking through Agoda, but the highlight for me was that I got a very nice sunrise view with all my favorite elements - the sunrise between the mountains, trains moving on the track, and of course the partial lake view towards the right. The facilities are great - rental bicycle, coin laundry, free flow of drinks at the lobby, and many more. The room size is spacious - the bed, bathroom, and free space to move around in the room are big, especially comparing them to other hotels in big cities in Japan such as Tokyo. Staff are friendly and kindly explains everything. The location is close from the train station, and also close to the nearby park from where you can stroll around for a view of Lake Biwa. I wished I could stay over for few days just to relax there.

Buona posizione vicino al lago, al castello e alla stazione. Si possono utilizzare le bici gratuitamente. C'è il bagno pubblico che però non ho provato.

長浜城に近くリーズナブルな料金で宿泊できるので選びました。 長浜城が改修工事の為閉館中だったので残念でしたが、また長浜に行く口実ができました。 また利用します。

駅から程よい距離”

レンタサイクルとコインランドリーを借りられるのにこの価格は安いです! 調度も良いですよ。歴史ある慶雲閣と旧長浜駅博物館を見下ろし琵琶湖が廊下から眺望できます。 フロントさんも皆さんホスピタリティありました。また泊まりたいですね。 周囲に夜間営業する飲食店がとても少ないこと　コンビニが結構歩くことだけご注意を。夕食難民が大挙してホテル内の居酒屋さんに殺到。 　私は日中に焼き鳥や駅弁でしたので、フンパツして徒歩圏の回らないお寿司屋さんに向かいました。それは美味しかったのですが、一般的な選択ではないでしょう。

お湯も程よい温度で丸見えですが露天もありましたｗ

ロケーションが良かった”

長浜城見えて、琵琶湖も見えて、凄く良かったです。
