"This hotel provided a comfortable room and a peaceful atmosphere. When we checked in, the receptionist, since she was finishing her shift, even offered to give us a ride to town if we needed it. If you are backpacking, we wouldn't recommend this hotel because of its location. Although it has a grocery store located right next to the hotel, it is far from the city center. Many of the Irish that we talked with encouraged us not to walk the streets at night, because Limerick has a gang-related reputation. As for breakfast, we decided that we didn't want to purchase breakfast because of the price, but we did purchase coffee and tea from the cafe. Both were good."

"Friends of ours had their wedding reception here and it was fantastic. The first thing I have to say is that the whole feel of the hotel was started by the brilliant, friendly and attentive concierge, Kevin. The rest of the staff very good too. Hotel decor is beautifully done and the amenities are great. My only issue and I really am finding it difficult to find one is that when we were in the wedding hall itself the bar there could not supply the same drinks as the main bar, which is only 10 seconds away in fairness. Would highly recommend."
