First time going to Jeju Island with my friend. Initially confused where do we want to stay? After searching, finally found this place where it was cozy, cool etc. The staff is friendly and the facilities are little complete and can cook yourself in a public kitchen but if I don't have time to cook. Hehehe. Near to Seogwipo olle market so you can eat there.

Great place ”
Facilities are great, tv and small fridge inside room. Convenient store just across the road. Owners are nice, they save parking spot at the front door. If you don't like staying in city, Gudeok Guesthouse is perfect choice for you down south.

Love the decorations”
This is indeed a comfortable guesthouse. I love the common area near the reception where you can just sit and chat with your friends. They even have a rooftop on the 6th floor for you to chill and relax. The room and the toilet are sufficiently equipped. Not too spacious if you are staying in a dormitory. The guesthouse is very near to the Cheonjiyeon Waterfall and also there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There is also a bus stop just within walking distance.

Glad I was in Gudeok”
The owners and workers were super friendly. Everything was good. However, I would like to recommend the owners to place electronic charging points for each bed, which would make it convenient for current travellers who have several gadgets to charge, instead of getting off their beds. Place some at the lobby and roof top too. Nice rooftop. Free breakfast. Caring owners.

Good location in Seogwipo, nice hosts”
The rooms are pretty small, not enough space to open 2-3 medium-sized luggage. Bathroom is spacious, water pressure is okay. Room is cleaned daily but sheets are not changed unless requested. Bring your own bath towels as the ones provied are really small (and have a stored-damp smell). No lifts, we were lucky to get a room on Level3 and we do not have any children or elderly. They have a nice rooftop above for mingling. Free water refill. They have a mini kitchen in the rooftop too if you wanna cook small stuff. Breakfast is cool, you get to cook your own eggs, toast. They have an awesome jam! Some cheese too. Brewed coffee is not so bad, but I love the instant coffee mix sticks too! The kitchen gets so busy in the morning, so come down early to cook your food. Rating it overall 7.5 out of 10. Reasonable price, can't really complain. :),

Very nice host”
The host is very very nice and helpful, and that is an absolute plus for me! He speaks very basic English but tries really hard to answer our questions and point us to the right directions, etc. I so love the design of the receiving area. You can also use their common computer. Good wifi. Location is close to the food market with heaps of restaurants! Around 5-7 minutes to main bus stops, not so bad unless you have to drag massive luggages. Rating it overall 7.5 out of 10. Reasonable price, can't really complain. :)

their dog 덕 is super friendly! very nice owners and the breakfast in the morning for only 2000won is nice. i stayed in a private room so idk how the dorm would be post covid. the rooftop area is also very nice to hang out.

Place is nice very near to all, walking distance to almost the place i want to see in Seogwipo. The owners were so accommodating and friendly, i love the oranges/tangerines fruits they serve for free. The rooftop is so cool and awesome. I will come back and stay again here.

The location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It isn't luxurious but that's not why you stay at a guesthouse. We happened to come at a time when there wasn't many other travellers staying, but I imagine if there were it would be a great place to meet other people.

I was on a cycling trip and the guest house is along the bike path. Tips: remember to wake up early and catch the sun rise at the roof top
