Quiet area but with good connections to Kyoto and Shiga, solid facilities including a basic kitchen setup, very reasonably priced. I also got lucky and stayed with a good group of interesting folks who were keen to chat and share. Would have preferred a bit more privacy as the curtain around the bed was a bit small and let in some light.

Dusty Accommodation, no towels for guests, beddings and linens were old and not newly washed and pillows were not comfortable. The whole room didn't smell clean. I don't recommend this place not value for money.
