Great place for solo travelers”
I stayed in the ladies only dormitory for 3 nights. Check-in was hassle-free. The guest house was very clean and modern, the bed comfortable, and the location great! It's basically next to the station and in walking distance to various restaurants, onsen, and shopping areas. There is free parking at the top of the guest house. I didn't really use any other facilities as I was out all day and went to the many onsen to bathe instead of using the guest house's shower. I'd definitely stay at Guest House Rojiura again.

Great value and wonderful stay”
Highly recommend. A very clean and comfortable dorm. The communal kitchen / dining / hanging out area is very new, clean and pleasant to hang out in. There is a small laundry. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Good location very close to the station. There is a great onsen within a 5 minute walk which we went to every day and numerous small bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

Very big hostel. Quiet. Superclean. Close to the station and close to good restaurants and bars. We were with 3 girls in a 15bed dorm. Lots of space! Worth the extra euros! Go to the foreign tourist information office in the train station Went 3 times and they were 3 times very helpful. Thanks again Timo for the great tips.

Spacious, clean, comfortable accommodation in a relaxing town. Common area is large with comfortable seating and kitchen, free coffee and tea. Near train station and onsens. They let me store my luggage in a locker until I left in the afternoon. Bedroom is also spacious.

This hostel is very clean, has share kitchen with free coffee. Note : clothes dryer could not complete dried clothes, we had to hang it air dry overnight, lucky hostel wasn't busy at the time, we were these 2 for whole section of 16 people.

The hostel was very clean. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. Love the shower watee pressure. Very kind staff. Convenient area but it is under a bridge so i wouldnt want to go home alone too late.

They provide the big locker for the big luggage. The location is wonderful. And the staves are helpful. The room is too dark after closing the light. If they can provide a small light in the room will be better. (Of course they have small light on the bed. )

Clean, well located hostel, ok services”
Great location 2 minutes from the station, this hostel is clean and has a bright coming room. I booked a mixed dorm but was transferred to a female dorm, which was great as there was only me and another girl in a 16-bed dorm. Staff were polite and answered my many questions in good English, however no leaflets of the area in English, and it’s not high season. Luckily the tourist office is at the station. By the way don’t trust Google Maps! Just take the East Exit, cross the Road, turn right at the first street (after the Beppu Station Hotel) and you’ll see the sign on your left. Entrance is down the steps, below street level. Everywhere is about 10 minutes walk. I only wish I had better recommendations for places to eat and do on my own in the evenings, as I arrived around 9pm.. it would help to have a list of places to try and clearly marked on the hostel map of the area. Found it a little expensive compared to hostels offering similar services but I would recommend it.

Near to Beppu station, 5 minutes walk. Provides free tea bag, coffee machine with few selection of coffees and other kitchen facilities. Even though I booked only a doubke decker bed, I was enjoying the whole room since nobody is sharing the other bed. They allowed you to put yr luggage in the locker for free though you have checked out. Good one. No towel is provided. You need to rent or get yr own towels, toothpaste and toothbrush. For me it's ok without toothpaste and toothbrush as I'm ready but for towel most of other hostel will provide.

The guesthouse is kept clean. The private room is spacious though very thin walls. Overall, I had a great stay. Just a few minutes away from Beppu Station.
