Guesthouse Mintaro Hut provides basic rooms, free use of a kitchen and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Free-use laundry facilities are available. Mintaro Hut Guesthouse is an entirely non-smoking property. A smoking area is located in front of the building. The free-use kitchen is equipped with a stove, a microwave and a fridge. Cooking utensils are provided. Guests at Mintaro Hut can cook their own breakfast, using a selection of ingredients that the Guesthouse caters free of charge. Rooms are air-conditioned and fitted with an LCD TV, a seating area and a desk. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Guesthouse Mintaro Hut is a 15-minute drive from Yamadera Temple, and a 40-minute drive from Mount Zao. Yamagata Station is around 17 minutes away on foot.

A wonderful vibe of a local guesthouse with amazing and hospitable staff who make you feel home! Not new but very clean!

Excellent atmosphere and staff performance”
The staff invites me to join their dinner, and we have lots of talking about everything. It is great if you like to know more about the local culture and people. Living in this guest house makes me feel I'm a member of the family. Although the location is a little bit far away from the station, I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Yamagata.

We stayed for 1 night a regretted not having more time here! The rooms are spotless and so are the facilities. The common area is cluttered but very inviting and warm. The garden is beautiful. The guys running the place are laid back and friendly, and the dinner with all the other guests was real fun. The conversation at dinner tends to get lively and vibrant, so this may not be suitable for those who seek to call it an early night. This hostel is incredible value for money!

Host was really friendly. Common space was too small and toiletts direct in front. We would enjoyed spending more time in the common space or in the garden(was there one?). The guesthouse is a lithke far from ghe station.

The place was clean and beautiful. Good location, nice and friendly staffs. You can make breakfast by the ingredients they provided, or join the party they always hold at night. Just feels like home, everything was perfect.

Quite far from Yamagata Station. But the owner is so so so nice. The staff also nice. I feel at home during my stay. I will definitely stay there again if i visit Yamagata.

Accueil au top dans cette maison qui est une vraie guesthouse. Plusieurs chambres nickel, 2 salles de bain avec douche et bain, tout est propre, lumineux. La cuisine est à disposition et bien équipée. le soir, on peut partager le repas moyennant contribution ou acheter quelques plats sur place s'il est tard.. L'hote est très accueillant, j'ai apprécié discuté avec lui et les autres personnes hébergées ici. Merci encore pour le prêt de vélo en soirée.
