Exceptional”
The staffs were really helpful. The hotel was okay with its price. The only thing I hate was the light bulb in the corridor , it really dazzles my eyes even though it was outside since there was a glass-design at the top of the door which by the way doesn't really complement.

Transient traveler friendly hotel”
Hotel location is nice. Accessible and situated near the main city road. Upon check in @ the counter, staff looks strict and doesn't seem to be approachable but eventually she changed her mood and began to smile after some conversations. Room size is just enough. Flooring doesn't appear to be presentable but clean. Window Type aircon is functioning. Glass walls with blinds are relaxing and cool. Flat screen television appears smaller (24") with cable connection. Restroom is spacious and appears clean with a normal shower only, no shower heater. Bed, linens, pillow and towels appear clean. Ceiling lights appear dimmer than the restroom light. Free water and free soap are available upon request, not provided automatically by the staff. My overall stay experience is good and worth-it.

The area is on 10PM curfew. The business in this area close at 7PM, but you can call for takeout food. The staff are great & will help you when needed. The hotel is safe, close to local transportation, walking distance to SM mall. This hotel is NOT a luxury stay. You will need to get Ormoc qrcode to get in most places and thru checkpoints.

A clean but very basic hotel”
+ Fair sized room, good bed, aircon, toiletries, tv - Delapidated & in need of total refurbishment, the window blinds did not cover the windows 100%, only cold water...but for the price and for low budget travellers acceptable.

Practical Stay”
A simple, practical stay for the night but had to transfer to another room at night time because our room air conditioner suddenly was not cooling (Icing up). No hot shower available. Wifi was good. The manager Ms. Leslie was accommodating and nice. The hotel needs a little maintenance though.

Run Down”
The place needs maintenance. 2 out 4 bedroom lights were busted. Paints peeling off. Aircon barely cooled the room. Staffs very lousy. We ask for the TV remote control and they told us they will just send it to our room but none came. When we arrived, we have to wait for the receptionist to check us in. Nobody in the counter.

Impossible to sleep. Cost 20 bucks”
The location is horrible because it's on the main highway and the windows are R1. You can hear absolutely every single noise on the street. I was on the fourth floor and there was a piece of wood and no insulation around the aircon unit so i was awake all night . Despite the staffs giving me a room on the other side of the hotel where there was a domestic disturbance where the neighbor kicked his dog, wife, and fighting cocks and they made noise all night. I switch to between the two room 6 x didn't get a good sleep. I wouldn't blame the staff. The hotel owner is responsible for it being a nightmare. No way 20 bucks was well spent here. The only good thing was the wifi.

we booked for date oct 18-19 but the staff told us about our check in. We have to wait 2pm to have a vacant room. We went early so that we accomodate first.

I have stayed in many budget hotels but GV Hotel is really a bad one from its facilities to linens & towels. The aircon don't work well. Lavatory has no water. White linens & towels were far from whit, it's more of a brown in color. Credits to the staffs that were accommodating.

Worst hotel in Ormoc”
I walked in and inquired if a room is available, front desk informed me that its fully booked, I insisted that its not coz I can see online that its still available. She then change her statement saying that I should understand her when she said its fullybook. Pathetic, never go to this hotel again.. Room cleanliness is very poor, bathroom is filthy and the staff is rude.

Not good,, arrive in room no towel,,no water and shower has no hot water. In the morning if you want a hot coffee you have to pay for the hot water and air con was very old and noisy
