🛏️the dorm room was so clean and roomy!! Perhaps one of the roomiest hostel/dorms I've stayed at in Japan!! Each bed has a safe, it was large enough for my iPad. And staying in the 2nd story bunk bed was no problem since it had actual stairs (not some rickety ladder). 🍽️🎹There is a full kitchen, and loooots of common area you can relax in. The piano and guitar are open for actual use, if you are inclined. 🚲There are 2 bicycles you can ask to take out FOR FREE! It's a great way to get to the Saraku sand spa or get to the Pokémon manholes around town. 💁The staff is SO friendly and helpful! He gave me 3 dinner recommendations, and his first recommendation was amazing (Aoba 青葉). He also answered all my questions about the town, recommended me a dessert shop, and helped me figure out the best way to get to the airport.

I stayed here for one night and two days in November 2020. It is a guesthouse in a quiet residential area. My style of traveling is to stay in guesthouses to save money and gather information. As a result, I spend money in the visited area. As soon as I entered the hotel, I could smell the aroma of good tea. The owner of this accommodation is a young person and very friendly. They also have a strong intellectual curiosity, and I look forward to their future activities. The facilities are shared showers and toilets, and the interior of the hotel is a bit old and makes some noise when moving around, but it has its own charm. The washroom also splashes water due to its structure, but it is nostalgic for my generation. I chose a dormitory room, and the smell of tatami was fresh. There is also a locker with a key. A simple breakfast is provided for free (toast, boiled eggs, coffee, milk), and the kitchen and tableware can be used. Alcohol is not sold, so you need to bring your own. And above all, it is clean. It is well cleaned. There are also nice restaurants nearby and public baths. It is the perfect accommodation to enjoy the local experience. Restaurant: Kurobuta and Local Cuisine Aoba. Be prepared to wait. The shabu-shabu here is very filling! The grilled yellowtail is also delicious. They have a wide selection of set meals. Public Bath: Muranoyu Onsen. A very local hot spring. It is a natural hot spring and is open almost 24 hours a day. The fee for adults is 350 yen. Unauthorized entry is prohibited. There are no lockers with keys, etc. It is the best place to enjoy the local hot springs. If you're lucky, you might meet a cat at the reception desk. LOL. Please refrain from visiting if you prefer clean places. It is a highly recommended accommodation for travel enthusiasts.

Amazing and friendly Guesthouse in Ibusuki”
I really enjoyed staying here. The owner ist super friendly and can help you with your travel planning. Also he gave me a bike - that was soooo helpful to ride through Ibusuki by bike! Go to the onsen close by and take a sand bath! I stayed here for 2 nights bevor I left to Yakushima from here!

Located about 7 minutes walk from the Ibusuki station, it was a good location to explore Ibusuki town. We liked the casual and communal vibe of the place and it was very clean. However, 2 things to note: The walls are very thin and you can easily hear muffled sounds of people talking (and snoring) from the adjoining rooms. The worst thing was the horribly thin folding mattresses that was soooo uncomfortable I could not get a good nights sleep. They really need to invest in thicker mattresses!

The location is near the railroad station of Ibusuki. The owner is very kind, trying to be helpful in every way. We even borrowed two bikes for free. This guest house was a pleasant surprise for my budget.

Not far from the train station, the nearest convenience store is on the other side of the station, but Ibusuki is originally a small and desolate place. The room is very clean, and the owner is very friendly~

快適に過ごせました”
バイクで一人旅の途中で利用。入口横に駐車場があり、バイクなら4台（詰めれば5台？）駐車可能。 元は旅館か料亭みたいな感じの建物。 入口の正面に受付があり、1階にシャワー、洗濯機、キッチン、共有の部屋。 2階にドミトリー、2人部屋、3人部屋という感じ。 朝食はパン、グラノーラ、ジャム、茹で卵と簡単な物だけど用意があり嬉しい。 もっとも旅行していると、現地の物を食べるというのも楽しみの1つなので、朝食は嬉しいけれど、個人的には無くても良いかな。 洗濯機はあるけれど、乾燥機が故障中だったので、歩いて2-3分のコインランドリーまで行って乾燥。 JRの駅まで徒歩で5-8分程度なので、電車利用でも十分歩けるし、駅から平坦な道で坂はなし。 WiFiの電波強度も問題ないし、ドミトリーへの宿泊でしたが快適に休めました。 そうそう2人部屋の写真がシャワールームの写真になっているとオーナーが嘆いていました(苦笑 ちゃんと畳の和室でシャワールームではありませんので、泊まる人は安心してください。

開聞岳登山後車で30分弱、駐車場もお貸しいただきました。着後すぐ洗濯機を借り(ハンガーは持参した方が良いかなっ)。のちに砂風呂へと行ってきました。砂楽行く方！徒歩でも行ける距離ですが、自転車貸してくれるようです。台所も食器類・調理器具も綺麗で気持ちよく過ごせました！！

洗濯機やシャワーが使用禁止になったり夜に歌い出すスタッフですがかわいい。関東ならすぐ潰れる。となりの山川駅前にアゴダでは予約できないやどが、同じ位の値段である。自転車借りれてなければ、飯にすら難儀。指宿クオリティなんでしょう。
