Simple but effective”
Very good location when you need to do some shopping. Very close to night market and several malls and markets and the Padang merdeka bus terminal. Airconned dorms with comfy 'cupboard' style beds with a little curtain in the front, which i really like (the climbing in took some practice xD). Simple breakfast and coffee, tea and water is included. There is even a simple outdoor kitchen for some cooking and some communal areas. It is quite small, but very effeciently used space. (The showers are installed in the toilet cubicles, strange but fine). The sisters running the place are very friendly.

Great Hostel”
I love this hostel for it is very clean. Obviously, they change the pillow sheet, towel, and bedsheet to a spotless clean ones once a guest checked out. The staff especially the long-hair boy is really courteous, good, and helpful! The location is a plus and near everything you need. Will definitely stay here again.

I met a Swiss Girl travel alone here. Good bargain. Plus the location also easy to access. Pantry is well maintained.clean. It takes about rm8 for maxim to get here.

Basic but sufficient ”
If you're looking for hotel like expectations then this place is not for you. H2 has basic amenities like laundry, drinking water, breakfast. The location is strategic as Kota Kinabalu places of interest is nearby and just a walking distance away. Perfect place for staying if you're solo travelling or backpacking. Mr Chong and his team are friendly and they do their best to make sure your stay are comfortable.

Worth every penny! ”
Stayed for 4 nights here. Hotel is very clean. Pod-like bed bunk that gave total privacy. Staffs are friendly. Airport shuttle service is also provided. Location is very strategic. Walking distance to city attractions, approximately 10-15mins walking to reach wet market, jesselton ferry terminal etc.

Worth for money”
The reception is very friendly and well-mannered and easy to communicate. He's approachable and makes everyone comfortable to stay here. Because of him I think I will come and stay here again whenever I'm free.

The best VfM hostel in town!”
Cheapest option for backpacker. It's clean but a bit messy since some tenants have too much stuff lying in the room. There is a kitchen for cooking and a place to hang your laundry. Great location (15-minute walk from Jesselton and 10-minute walk from KK Waterfront). The only drawback is the common living room is relatively small, but that doesn't matter if you are here to travel and not chill in your hostel.

This is my first time to try this kind of place to stay for my staycation and Im glad that is not worst for my first time,actually it is beyond my expection is good actually remind back my memories stay at my university hostel.The staff so friendly the cleanlinees can be approve more and the facilities is good but I hope for the toilet there have a strict rule because I dont know how the male having a bath at a female toilet and Im sure infront of the door have given the female sign Im not sure either the man suddenly change his gender or what but ya I hope they will improve in this site 😀

Aside from water interruption (not their fault) this place is perfect for solo traveller as you can meet new friend, and is good they have a no-noisy policy after 11pm and everyone is following!~

Very high density dorms but it's clean”
The dorm beds are narrow. And there's 12 people in one tiny room. The bed curtains don't do much for privacy or blocking the breeze of the AC. Currently it's full of working people renting by the month since there's zero foreign tourists. The caretaker runs a tight ship. Strict but she makes sure everyone is quiet in the room and everything is kept clean. There's no common area to hang out besides the small lobby area
