Exceptional”
Beautiful hotel in Hakone. The hotels shuttle picked us up from the closest station and took our bags to the hotel. They also drove us to the museum and convenience store. We were greeted at the hotel with mochi and tea and then brought up to our room. We have a Japanese style room with private Onsen and it was absolutely amazing!! Dinner and breakfast were amazing also and the staff was super friendly and spoke pretty good English! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Comfortable and luxurious”
We booked a room with garden view as well as a room with mountain view and I must say the mountain view one was so so much better! Food is not really spectacular, but is good enough for kaiseki style. The highlight of the whole stay would be the private outdoor onsen that you can dip into whenever you want.

Spa Resort with a View”
Booked one night stay with my cousin. We were picked up from cable car station to the hotel. Highly recommended to use the free transfer service. Breakfast and dinner were included, both thoughtfully curated and delicious. In room hot spring bath was most welcoming and luxurious. Used the massage service at the hotel, service was excellent albeit at a higher price than town centre counterpart.

The hotel lobby is very big and well designed. The environment is very peaceful and refreshing. The room is big and clean and it looks like a cosy room at home. However, the setting of the restaurant is bad. There is no petition between dining tables. The noise made by a crying small child disturbed all customers in the restaurant. It is highly recommended that the dinner should be served in individual rooms. The quality and quantity of the food were below our expectation.

Not worth it! The views are unbelievable, but we were given a room with a view of a parking lot. Each meal was in a square cubicle with no windows. We asked to be moved to a area with a view and they said they couldn’t move us as all the seats were assigned. They were so inflexible for what we paid. We ended up leaving early since our stay was so unpleasant.

The hotel is great in almost every aspect. Nice view, open air tub in every room with good privacy, private dinner and breakfast in the restaurant (you get your own private dining room in the restaurant), staffs are nice and room is roomy and clean. I’m going to bring my parents to visit next year!

Elegant Luxury ”
From the moment you arrive you will feel pampered and rested. Absolutely the best stay in Japan we had. Amazing onsen and views and the kansei dinner was the best we had, as was breakfast. Location is quiet and serene, away from activities in the beautiful scenery. They drive you door to door pickup and drop off at the stations, just give them a call and they arrive in minutes. Will make it a priority to stay here again if we are in the area.

The room is comfortable and the private onsen is excellent. However, it is a bit difficult to find the hotel if drive. The GPS cannot identify the exact location of the hotel with phone number. Need to be aware on the signage of the hotel.

Supurb room, bath, services and food”
The service here was exceptional. The room was very clean and the private outdoor bath was beautiful. Dinner was a Japanese kaiseki course. We had a three year old who cannot sit still for more than an hour but the staff quickly came with small toys to keep our daughter busy so the adults can enjoy the meal. Small little things like this makes a difference. We would go back again.

お高めの価格帯のお宿は今回初めての体験でした。コロナ禍で旅行にも行けなかったので奮発。食事も個室で安心していただけたし、お料理も量もお味も大満足でお酒も進みました(笑) 温泉をゆっくり楽しむ為に行ったので部屋の温泉に人を気にせず好きな時に入れるのはいいですね。夏休みなので仕方ないですが早い時間だと子供の声がかなり聞こえたので静かなお部屋をリクエストしておけばよかったなと。別な季節、別なお部屋にもまた泊まってみたいと思いました。
