        Expensive but worth it”

        Hotel location is a bit futher away from the main train stations. Location is quiet and has a stop nearby for the Hakone Pass so it was very convenient to explore Hakone. Hotel has nice views and really good restaurants. Rooms are very big and the onsen experience is great! Staff also friendly although English wasn't their strong point. There is also a hotel shuttle to take you back and forth to the main train stations. Great experience overall. Would recommend.

        Wonderful, attentive staff.”

        Having previously visited Hakone ten years ago, we really wanted to return after a busy few days exploring Tokyo. Hakone Hisui is a beautiful, and relaxing retreat; a place where you can really kick back and restore the equilibrium amongst the peaceful surroundings. Please note, the hotel mainly caters to Japanese clientele, so English is not widely spoken. However, the staff will really go above and beyond to make sure you are looked after. At dinner for example, their only English speaking chef, Yu, was introduced to us, letting us know that we could refer to him if we had any questions about the food. The Teppanyaki dinner, which was cooked for us by the executive chef, was exquisite and we’d highly recommend it. Thanks again for such wonderful service.

        a bit confused and annoyed at first since we reserved a room for 4 adults and 1 child with breakfast. but when we check in, the receptionist told us that breakfast is only for 3 adults and we have to pay for the other adult and child. when asked how this could be so, she then changed it to become 4 adults but not for the child. we ended up paying extra for the child. but the hotel was nice, clean. the Onsen was great. so overall it was ok

        Clearly a favourite with Japanese”

        Staff could hardly speak English so it was challenging and time consuming to sort out the tiniest request. Location is good for Little Prince fans and Lalique collectors who has a car to commute about, and for those happy to pay ¥8100 for set dinner and breakfast is not included for room at £315 per night.

        お風呂と夕食”

        硫黄の香りのする露天風呂が熱湯とぬる湯があり、交代浴ができます。内湯には単純泉とサウナがあります。一泊朝食付きでも、夕飯は向かいの東急ハーベスト箱根甲子園ホテルのビュッフェが向かいにあります。ルームサービスは各時間二組限定ですぐ埋まり、その辺は不便なので、バトラーではなくお弁当運ぶだけで良いので当日５時くらいまで申し込めるようにして欲しい。

        ゆっくりできました”

        プールサイドの見える部屋でした。 リゾートホテルのような雰囲気で、リラックスできました。部屋に設置されていたデイベットは特に居心地がよく、一日ゴロゴロしてられます。 朝食付きプランにしましたが、とてもおいしかったです。子供用もお上品な味すぎて、子供には合わなかったですが。。（そこは改善して欲しい） 徒歩圏内にコンビニ、観光施設、飲食店もあり、車がなくても不自由なく過ごせます。 とても素敵なホテルでした、機会があれば次回も泊りたいです。

        お部屋に温泉風呂が付いていて、ボタン１つで温泉が出てくるので、お部屋のお風呂でものんびり楽しめました。もちろん大浴場も良かったです。 アメニティも充実しています。 お部屋は広さも十分でした。 スタッフの皆さんは、とても親切で丁寧でした。 夕食は外のステーキハウスで済ませたので、わかりませんが、朝食はホテルで頂きました。 和食か洋食が選べ、どちらも美味しかったです。 レストランのスタッフの皆さんが、とても感じが良く、素敵な時間を過ごせました。 また機会があれば、是非、利用したいと思います。

        의사 소통의 문제와 접근성의 문제”

        호텔은 깨끗하고 직원들은 친절한 편이나 위치상 접근성이 용이하지 않았고 무엇보다 대부분 직원들과 영어로 의사 소통하는데 문제가 많았는데 일본 사람들만을 위한 호텔처럼 보였습니다. (호텔내 몇몇 안내 책자와 룸 서비스 메뉴등은 일본어로만 되어 있음) 또한, 저녁 식사 부킹을 하지 않았다고 호텔에서 저녁도 먹지 못하고 근처 세븐 일레븐에서 가서 사 먹었습니다. 호텔 근처에 걸어서 이동할만한 음식점등도 없었습니다. 외국인한테는 추천하고 싶지는 않은 호텔이였습니다.
