Beautiful place to relax in!”
This accommodation was AMAZING! From its traditional style to its beautiful gardens, Yoshiike Ryokan never ceased to amaze me! The location is not far from other amenities and public transport. The hot springs were also very beautiful and just right. The rooms were clean and well prepared for our stay. Thank you Yoshiike Ryokan for having us!

Excellent service and polite staff. ”
Love the Japanese garden, food, service, and staff. Need to clean cow webs in the light bulbs. Thanks.

Above average”
Food was mediocre. The Onsen was lukewarm. Expected a lot more for the price I paid. The only good thing were its convenient location.

Exceptional”
Staff is very friendly, my boy is gastric flu when we checked into the hotel. The staff helped us find nearby hospital, and call the taxi. Very good experience stay at this hotel

Beautiful garden view of the room”
The room is big enough for our family. If you are looking for a very classical room here, this hotel is fit for you.

Good”
Purposely booked for Yoshiike Ryokan because we saw there was in-house lunch and dinner, which is served in the room. When checking in, staff told us they no longer serve the food in the room, which is quite disappointing! With the amount we paid, there are actually many other choice to choose, not value for money. Ryokan smell of die rat near to the entrance, mentioned this to staff, their reply is, it is just normal smell.

Impressive ryokan with a rigid dining policy”
Yoshiike had a modern and well designed western-styled room which included a gorgeous view of the Japanese garden. Furnishings were new, clean and comfortable. Breakfast and kaiseki dinner provided in the half-board plan were tasty as well, with my only gripe being the inflexibility of the restaurant to accommodate to patrons with special dietary restrictions. As my family and I do not consume beef, and the kaiseki dinner menu for the day included dishes with beef, our request to replace the dish with something else was declined due to the restaurant strict policy of serving only what was planned for the menu of the day. This resulted in 2 of the dishes in the day's menu to be removed from our course without a replacement, of which one of the 2 courses was actually a main (steak). Although it didn't end up with us going back to our rooms still feeling peckish, the inflexibility there did leave a sour note during our stay here, considering the higher price paid to stay at such ryokans.

Very Nice Japanese Garden, Onsen and Room”
The entire Ryokan is very clean. The room is traditional and spacious. The onsen is very nice. The food is fairly good. What I like the most is the Japanese Garden! The tranquil and the beauty are beyond description.

Very good”
too many trainees used in the hotel and too many loud tourists who don't know how to use the onsen properly. There were men swimming in the men's onsen and those who don't take a bath before dipping into the onsen. our room was a Japanese style room which was too old and dilapidated. don't think I would visit the same hotel again.

Nice but a bit overpriced”
They have a beautiful garden, the food is splendid, but our room just was a bit dissapointing. Old furniture, a bit dusty, our room with a private onsen was just a bath tub we had to fill with normal water. So we thought it was overpriced for what we eventually got.

Good Ryokan”
Everything was not bad, but considering high cost, it's little bit disappointed. Nevertheless, the breakfast and garden was so nice.

You get more Value than what you paying for.”
Food was great, staff was great, onsen was great, the garden was great, and an alcohol store walking distance less than 10second.

NO VALUE FOR MONEY”
We stayed one night, the garden is beautiful and so is the outside onsen. However, the rooms are old. Checkout is at 10 o'clock and the onsen is closed between 10-14 and are. completely non flexable. So in total the stay in this hotel is no value for money

Not bad experience”
Pretty nice Kaiseki Ryori! Good serving altitude of staffs, but still have some trouble on communication in English. Clean room and onsen pool.

Superb, luxurious experience ”
Staying here was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Everything was phenomenal—the staff’s kind consideration and concern, the delicious food artfully presented, the serene ambience throughout the entire ryokan, and of course the relaxing, peaceful onsen. We felt well taken care of and will definitely return. The only negative thing we have to say is that we wish we stayed here longer!

Great location and service, with beautiful garden and onsen”
Really enjoyed the single-night stay at Yoshiike. Okay, so this place surely isn't the *bling-bling*, new and modern, luxurious hotel. But my experiences here were one of the best within my entire Japan trip. Great service, of course. But most importantly, the location... You "must" seek for a hotel near Hakone-Yumoto for optimal transportation experiences and other factors such as restaurants, souvenirs... And the sceneries both inside and outside the hotel! Beautiful and very well maintained all-around. The staff are not the greatest English speakers, but does enough to support your visit. The only downside I can think of was the fact that the air-conditioning wasn't so great. But with the garden-view with the natural breeze through the windows were just enough for us any way. Totally visiting again, if I can.
