Best in SE Asia”
Weve since travelled throughout Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand, and Halo Homestay has been far and away our favourite accommodation. The beautiful, bright marble rooms are accompanied with clean bathrooms and comfortable bedding, which gets cleaned and made up daily. The breakfast included has been the best we've had, even when paid out of pocket (get the omelette and coffee!). When we were leaving early for My Son one morning, they even packed us a to go breakfast for the next day. This family truly cares about their customers well being - as indicated by their waves goodbye as we drove off in our taxi. We intended to stay for two nights, but stayed for five. Stop looking now and book this homestay!

Incredible value”
We really enjoyed our stay at Halo. The family was really thoughtful, even going so far as to cook rice porridge for our daughter when she had some stomach troubles. The family room was spacious, with high ceilings, and was impeccably cleaned. The breakfasts are good. It's a little far to walk to town, but the homestay provides free bicycles and the bike ride is painless. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very comfortable room, friendly staff, clean”
We had a pleasant stay. We had small children so that big beds & spacious room were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Everything in our room was clean. You can walk to the main area in Hoi An but we took a taxi. (little far to the main area in Hoi an but it wasn't a big deal for us.) Staff was very friendly and one main person could speak very good english. We would definitely come back to this place next time we visit.

We have never used homestay accommodation before but found this to be a terrific experience. The room is massive, clean and pleasant. We were able to use the bikes, which meant we could get around and explore Hoi An. The neighbourhood is super safe with only a short distance to all attractions. Excellent stay and do recommend.

Lovely place, lovely people”
The Halo is a very well kept accommodation that is looked after extremely well by a family that takes great pride in their home/establishment. While it is a little out of the way, it is in a very quiet neighborhood that is easily accessible by bike or taxi. Definitely would stay there again.

I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews. The facilities were nice but nothing much better than other homestays. Location was meh. Staff were nice but again, nothing special for Hoi An standards.

calm and relaxed”
a huge family room with balcony. bikes to borrow, fab ride through paddies to a beach, not an bang but we were happy. hosts lovely very kind. beautiful house in quiet area. 20 min walk to old area but we loved this as a feeling of calm after tourist storm. corner coffee shop every morninng with locals and many eat options nearby if want to be more local. well recommend this.

Quite good, could be better”
We stayed at Halo for four nights with our two children. It was a little far out of town but there were bicycles to borrow which was helpful. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable; towels were changed and the beds made every day which was nice. There was building work going on in the street which started very early and was very loud. The breakfasts were very basic, one food choice and one drink choice per person which had to be ordered the day before, and when we asked for some butter to go on our bread (with fried egg) they added it to our bill!! Not great.

Was happy on seeing the room,cannot fault it,but its the noisiest place I have stayed in. The garden view double is right next to the lobby and gate and seating areas. Its a magnet for social gatherings,people hanging around chatting,and view is really of the motorbile park.It felt more like a cheap backpacker hostel with the big groups there coming and going.Even had to hear them coming back well after midnight ,making noise and ringing bell to get back in.No replenishment of shampoos and even had my toothbrush thrown away by housekeeping.No idea about breakfast availability or mini bar prices,thats not stated in the rules and regs handbook provided.The room promised so much but I was really glad to leave!

My sister and I had the best time ever here!! When we first arrived we were greeted with bananas and tea. The rooms were so lovely and clean, and great to unwind after touring. The free bikes are definitely great for local touring! The staff here are just absolutely wonderful. They truly made you feel welcome and party of their home. They helped us arrange tours, drew maps for how to get to the town, beach, and other spots. The breakfast was delightful. I loved every minute here, and will definitely come back!

located in the middle of old town and beach. Not in downtown but not far and provide free bicycle, about 10mins ride to both spot, very quite and host really good, we reach early in the morning and they agree us to check in early for rest, room is clean and big with free water, breakfast is also good

Great place to stay in Hoi An”
This place was great, free bicycle rent. Old town only 10 minutes cycle and 20 min cycle to the beach. The rooms are really big, the shower was warm and the Internet was fast. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay here again

Beautiful place to stay”
Beautiful, big and clean room. Shower separated from the bathroom. A bit outside of the city center but free bikes (good bikes :) ) available. Breakfast for 50k includes a good meal and coffee/tea. We definitely recommend!

Excellent”
We had a very nice stay in a relatively big and very comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and we could rent bicycles for free to get around. You can be in the city center in 10 minutes and at the beach within 20 minutes. If I had to pick one bad thing it would be that the delicious breakfast is only served until 9 o’clock. I would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable stay in quiet middle-class area”
Excellent quality room . High quality linen , bathroom facilities and air-con. Free bikes for hire helpful as it is a 35 minute walk to the old town. English well spoken and staff very accommodating and helpful. My only slight reservation is the cost of the breakfast which was overpriced
