Great location, spacious room and superb view”
I stayed at Halong Plaza with my two sisters and our elderly mom. Enjoyed the clean and spacious room very much. It has a good view of the bay and Bai Chay bridge and you can just walk across from the hotel to enjoy the breeze. We could also see the Sun Wheel.

The Ha Long Plaza is good for money, great service, clean, nice foods, low prices beverages, nice and quiet area with great view of Ha Long bay. Many good foods and restaurants around. Big room and large bed. Need new TV. This 4 stars hotel is good price for accommodation and very convenience to get on the boats and ships to sightseeing the Ha Long bay. Recommended to everyone.

Excellent breakfast, rooms and roomservice. Out of season the pool isnt in use, so you have to pay for a taxi to visit another hotels pool. All in all, would recommend!

One of the best hotel in Halong City”
This was my second time to stay in Halong Plaza. My first stay was nice that's why I came back to this hotel. However my second was better, my room at 602 is way better than my room before on the 10th floor. The breakfast buffet is one of the best in Halong City. Overall this hotel is worthwhile and I'll give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Superb ”
The place is easy to find, it has a lot of gym equipment to use. Breakfast is superb, what they serve in this hotel for breakfast is the same with the other 5* hotels in Baichay area however they serve curry as well. In all the Hotels I've been in Vietnam never have I had curry in their buffet only in this hotel. That's a thumbs up in my book.

Pretty good for the price”
Nice, clean hotel. Poor was being renovated, and another hotel allowed us to use their pool. The hotel didn't reimburse us for the travel though. Breakfast was pretty good, I highly, highly recommend the Vietnamese dishes. The western dishes were not very good. Cocktails were superb. The staff was extremely nice and courteous, especially during the corona virus epidemic. Rooms were nice and clean, even if the decor is a bit 2007.

Hotel is too old and dirty. Real 2 star. We have a really bad experience with unhelpful employees. Hotel charged us for children even do they do not officially charge when children share a bed. A lot of giant hornets around the pool. Employees never mind for that.

Spacious clean hotel with view of bay”
We booked several rooms and travelled in a large group with children. Hotel is located on the quiet end of Ha Long Road, a couple kilometres to night market & "main street" (way overpriced and overrated), around 20 minutes walk or just catch a taxi for less than AUD$2. Hotel lobby is wonderfully massive with a welcoming fruit drink when you arrive at reception. A fruit basket, coffee/tea/chocolate and bottled water is complimentary in your room. Features: electronic key entry, remote control lighting/in-room radio & alarm clock, slippers, bathrobes, iron, hair dryer, huge comfortable bed with white linen and very clean bathroom with separate tub & shower... Superior King room is very spacious, plenty of room for our baby to share the bed and crawl around. There's a gym and sauna, outdoor pool and two restaurants on separate floors. We had buffet dinner at the hotel's Four Seasons Restaurant on ground floor - very decent selection of food & drinks, & buffet breakfast next day (included in booking fee) again good variety and restaurant staff were great. We spoke Vietnamese to staff so they were always helpful with our enquiries, unsure about their english so cannot comment. We suggest researching before booking tours via hotel (we were short on time so paid AUD$200 for a 4-hour private boat Ha Long Bay tour for our group, but the shifty crew ended up sneaking extra people on the upper deck). Hotel was happy to hold our luggage after check-out while we went on tour. Overall good service, clean & spacious rooms, good food, great value, relaxing atmosphere... would stay there again.
