The hotel is good in terms of the price and the location. But most important - the staff were good, especially Ms. Joey from Reception was very helpful in terms of providing proper information and assistance to the guests.

Room was good but bit pricey”
I booked Deluxe room for 2 days. Mid night i reached Hotel, One of Hotel representative on reception Mr. Jaweed welcomed me. I found him very polite and professional. Room was very good , Neat and clean and big enough but bit pricey we compareto other hotels. Breakfast was good but need to be improved. Overall experience was good , i would recommend this hotel to all.

Good but pool staff non attended”
It was good but wanted to have a swim & requested for Towel. Answer was, we have only 12 towels & hence there isn’t any. So I had to cancel my swimming plan during my four day trip. I had taken 1 evening to relax by swimming but this really wasn’t expected answer from the attendant.

We stayed at Hamdan plaza for 3 nights. Reception staff Ankit made us very comfortable. This guy is very helpful, very cooperative and upto the date with all the information about Salalah. The location of the hotel is good. Near the new airport - only 8 km from the hotel. The hotel is bang opposite LuLu supermarket, where you will find a good food court. The recently built Salalah Garden Mall - containing Carrefore, CityCinema, and many coffee shops, food courts, other branded shops, etc is just a walking distance away - under 1 km from the hotel. The ground floor has banks, and 24X7 life line hospital. So you feel good and safe. However, we had problems with our rooms. The toilet jet sprays were leaking. The flush tanks were leaking. We informed the relevant department, but to no avail. We had to put up with leaking flush tanks and leaking toilet jets for 3 days. Also, not having an attached balcony is a negative point. The morning breakfast was good on all the 3 days. They have plenty to offer for vegetarians. However, the snaks - after 3.00pm... are below expectation, and very costly. Take your morning breakfast at Hamdan plaza - its good. But for the lunch / dinner / snacks... you have better options at Lulu and Garden Mall..both at walking distance from the hotel.

Could play football with the space in these rooms”
Salalah is a beautiful place with beautiful hearts. The culture of the land is displayed in the friendliness of the staff. I requested the front desk staff to point me to a henna parlour, she left her desk and drove me to 3 parlours, but sadly they were all full. I couldn't thank her enough for just being around. We've had numerous such occasions where people go out of their way to help.

It's a good hotel. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and food is good. The premises are a bit old with stain and rust all round the bathroom. The room had a stuffy smell. If this is fixed its an excellent budget hotel in salalah

Decent hotel”
Pros: 1. Located nearby Salalah gardens mall and Lulu Hypermarket 2. Very good buffet with variety each day. 3. Helpful staff and check out extendable upto 2pm upon request. Cons: 1. Old hotel lacking the modern day requirements such as adequate electrical points and old furniture. 2. Air conditioners in the room were problematic as the temperature was fixed at 23' C and could not be altered. Luckily the weather at the time of our stay didn't require AC. Overall a decent stay .

Accessible to the tour agency (Beautiful Salalah Int’l) located on the 1st floor of the hotel which arranges amazing places to visit while in Salalah. However, did not allow for early or late check out. Luggage counter was offered though, kept our belongings safe. Staff at the reception were so accommodating and helpful.

Just good enough with good location”
The hotel is just good enough with good location. Old hotel but maintained. I stayed only one night. The standard room is very spacious with separate sitting area. The lights were deem in the sleeping area and no good view from room. The breakfast was nice with selection and lot of verities. They provided us complimentary pick up airport transfer. Excellent hospitality from an Omani female receptionist.

Nice service, clean rooms and affirmative staff. Only thing which bothered us was no kitchen in flat as it was advertised by Agoda in room description.

Nothing to complain”
I paid a 3-star price, received 3-star return. So nothing to complain. The breakfast is okay. The swimming pool was outside the hotel. You walked out from the back of the hotel and the swimming pool was around 30 meters away. There were plenty of parking space on the side of the hotel. Nothing to complain.

Good location and staff, but too many problems”
I stayed here for 3 days & nights with my wife and two kids (both below 5 years) The plus points: Free late checkout till 6 pm Very Friendly and cooperative staff BIG room Nice baby cot Upon request, they changed our room to one closer to the elevator The problems: On our first morning, loud hammering and drilling noises kept us awake from 7 am. I complained to the reception around 5 times. But the loud noise didn't stop for more than two hours. Then we went out. When we came back in the afternoon, the noise was still there. We were told that there is some renovation going on in the room right below ours and we demanded to be shifted to another room. The new room had issues with wifi. Sometimes working, sometimes not. The bathroom door of the new room didn't close. I don't mean 'didn't lock'. It didn't even close. Hot water in the bathroom was yellow in color. They also saw this problem and said they can give us another room, but it was too much of a hassle changing the room again and again. The first room we got was far from the elevator
