Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast range”

Pros we’re the nice clean modern rooms and the space for 2 adults and a 5 year old. Good choice of breakfast for everyone and family friendly staff. City centre is literally minutes away. The only con was the pillows!! They look all fluffy but when you put your head on them they become as flat as the pillowcase!!

Highly recommended”

Location is really central and there's also a supermarket just opposite. There's a car park for hotel guests chargeable at £6 per day and you can drive out and back for duration of your stay. Room is large, very clean and we had 2 Queen sized beds for our family of 4. The bed is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is complimentary and there's really a great variety (really don't understand why anyone would provide a negative review to it in the first place?!). We felt the breakfast was great anyway. Overall, really impressed with the hotel.

Nice wee break”

Had a 2 night stay here in a lovely big room. The breakfast was lovely as were the staff. There was a parking charge on top of our already paid room of £6 per night which is not entirely clear, according to the hotel website it should be £5 per night but I had genuinely thought this was already paid at the time of booking. Not a big issue but extra to be aware of.

Liked our stay. We stayed here off-season so it was cheap. Was good. Only negative was the breakfast, for which we had higher expectations. But then again, we maybe have high expectations. I would probably still stay here nonetheless.

Was on the 3rd floor so couldn't hear the traffic. Great sleep as mattress was really supportive. Basic self serve breakfast but offered a good selection and was well presented and tidy.

Very disappointed with our room it had a double bed when we asked for a QUEEN size. There was only one bedside table, the carpet looked dirty. Had a shower the next morning only to find that I was standing in a pool of water reported it to member of staff who assured us that it will be fixed , next day same thing again standing in a pool of water clearly the problem was not fixed.
