The biggest draw back was the swimming pool. Very small”
I loved the room and the hotel. Complimentary breakfast was great each morning. I thought housekeeping could be a bit better. I was there for 2 weeks and not sure how often they changed the sheets or vacuumed the floor. Very small swimming pool and pool area. The room was very nice and the bathroom was quite large. The hotel was very pretty and did not seem like a chain hotel. This one was a historic hotel and had some character.

Not worth the money”
We booked a king with water view. Should be offered as a partial view, we could barely see the water when we pressed our face against the window. I dont think they even have any rooms that face the water. The room, on the 7th floor, was very small, it had no comfy seating as advertised, just a bed. We expected a refridgerator in the room for the price we paid. The bed was not comfortable, the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable, feather pillows were bought to our room on request though. The bathroom door would not close,. The shower had very bad water flow so rinsing hair was a problem. The walls are very thin, when neighbouring doors closed our bed moved! and coversations and tv in neighbouring rooms could be heard clearly. The pool was closed on one day of our visit, however we did use it the following day, it was not too clean but was warm and ok for a quick dip. The public areas were clean and very nicely decorated. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Overall we had a pleasant stay but, compared to other Hampton rooms we have stayed in, this one was not worth the money.
