Clean, great view, helpful staff”

Slightly far but convenient as you can arrange for a free shuttle pick up service from Kii-Katsuura station via the hotel. Staff were helpful and hotel is right in front of the whale museum if you are planning to visit. Beautiful facilities and we stayed in the tatami room, which staff helped us set up the bed whilst we were out for dinner! Gorgeous view as the room faced the sea (I believe all rooms do though). Two onsen facilities available and yukatas available in the room for your usage. Best to have meals within the hotel restaurant, unless you are driving as not much around the hotel (only 1 sushi restaurant located within 10 min walking, and one other restaurant that was not open during our stay).

Fantastic hotel in a suburban location”

Staff were hospitable. Despite the short stay, everything was made smooth and pleasant for me and my husband. Tranquil was what we hoped for after our tedious hike and the hotel was all of that and above. Loved the staff, reminded me of my uncles and grandpa back home, who took great care of us with genuine smiles and little treats.

Luxury hotel close to nature and dolphins”

Plus for calmness and nature, minus for nearby restaurants. Excellent but pricy french japanese fusion cuisine at hotel. Dolphin aquarium visible from hotel. Free shuttle to kiikatsuura.

Good view with execellent Onsen”

The Onsen is a must try in this hotel. It serves local Japanese, so the staff can't speak English well. The included breakfast in Japanese style is awesome. No public transport can go there.

the property is decent. it has beautiful view. room is clean, but facility is old. this trip was planned very last minute, so we didnt have enough time to look more and not much "great" properties are around in this area. we thought this property was ok if you are just looking for a place to stay.

12 minutes from Kii Katsuura. To get back and forth to the town there is limited shuttle service and cabs are expensive.

Best hotel in Taiji”

Stayed here for a night. Pros: Big rooms. First room in Japan that my wife and I could actually move around in. Perfect location next to the Whale museum. Fantastic food. Had dinner and breakfast here and both meals were excellent. Great staff. Mostly older Japanese and a couple of foreign staff. Cons: Building is very old and the entire place looks jaded and dilapidated. Really tiny bathroom and toilet. Something like you’ll find in a small business hotel. Very pricey for the location, amenities provided and age of the hotel. Maybe the price was high because it was during the golden week. Hotel was practically empty though.

口コミでわかっていたが、部屋のクロスはボロボロ、トイレのドアはベニア板が浮いてるし換気もない。 窓枠はホコリだらけ天井はシミだらけで貧相な部屋でした 料理は申し分なく、誕生日の祝いで利用しましたので満足でしたが総合的にはおすすめできません 値段は料理代金でしょうか

すぐ近くが海なので朝の散歩は気持ちよかったです。お掃除は行き届いているのですが、写真とは違い建物はかなり古いです。4人1部屋素泊まりで利用しましたが、シーズンオフの山側のお部屋で1人8000円にはお得感はなく、また泊まりたいと思わせてくれるものはありませんでした。

食事が朝晩洋食でした。とても美味しく、量もちょうど良く満足でした。お刺身もありましたが、普段生物が食べられない私も友人も共に、お刺身が全く臭みがなかったので美味しくいただけました。朝食の時間内はピアノの生演奏があり、贅沢な時間でした。 スタッフの方々も感じ良く、気持ちよく宿泊できました。中庭も綺麗に手入れされていました。部屋から海と中庭が見えて、とても綺麗でした。 建物は古めですが、綺麗に清掃されていて問題なかったです。 私は泊まった日は露天風呂のシャワーの温度調節がちょっとトラブルがあったようですが、翌朝入って時は直ってました。 隣にクジラ博物館があり、イルカショーが観られるようなので、次は母を連れて来たいと思います。

夕食も朝食も、地元食材を沢山使って、組み立て。 特に夕食は、和食も取り入れたフレンチで、大満足。

お値段の割には豪華なお食事”

食事とスタッフは大満足。ロケーションも抜群でした。ただ、お部屋は元旅館を無理矢理？洋室化した感じ。不潔感は無かったですが残念。朝食もバイキングじゃなく、コース料理っぽくて美味しかった。オススメです。

静かな景観、自然溢れる景色。大切な人と自分達だけの時間を楽しむにはもってこいの宿です。コース料理は地元の和の食材を用いた洋風料理ですが、年令問わず満足いくものです。和食では物足りない若い人や子供にも、洋風はちょっと.......とゆう高齢の方にも、和食を楽しみたい海外の方にも、是非とも楽しんで頂きたい素晴らしいお料理でした。食器や飾り付けにも季節を感じることができ、まずは目で楽しめる美しいお料理。朝食には様々なお野菜を沢山頂けます。デザートもプチスタイルで種類が沢山！オムレツは3種のソースが選べました。もちろん目の前でシェフが作ってくれます。自家製ピクルスには色とりどりのお野菜。お代わりができるスープには朝夕ともに三種類。色浴衣も＋1000円でレンタルできたりと、女性はテンション上がること間違いなし！幼児と小学生高学年の息子二人との三人旅行でしたが、夜は1時間2000円の広々としたレンタルルームで卓球とカラオケで思いっきりプライベートな時間を堪能。朝はテニスコートで一時間、道具レンタル込みで2900円で思いっきり汗を流しました。チェクアウト後でも楽しめます。朝はピアノの生演奏を聞きながらの朝食に、思わず足を止めて聞き入りました。ノッティングヒルの恋人の主人公の気分でしたね(笑)(主題歌が流れてました) 設備はこちらのグループとしては古い方かとは思いますが、照明、インテリア、庭のお手入れなどもしっかりとされているので、それが不満になるとゆうことはないはずです。最新設備が言い方はそもそも新しく出来たとこに行かれるべきですし、価格とメニューなどでここを選らばれた方がレビューでそこに文句をつける人がいたら少し悲しいですね.......。 すぐとなりにくじらの博物館があり小さい子供がいてもゆっくり朝食を食べてのんびり移動できます。 午前中のみホテルの無料送迎で紀伊勝浦駅まで戻れますが、松の島観光船を利用すれば時間を気にせずに太地町を満喫できます。到着日もホテルの送迎利用するより観光船のドルフィンコースの利用をオススメします。船上からのプチイルカショーやスリル満点の海上の奇岩の間をすり抜けて外洋へでるコースは他にはないはずです！ ホテルの裏庭の畑でシェフがお野菜を収穫！体も心も喜ぶ時間でした。 連泊して、プールに入ったり、テニスを楽しんだりと本当の余暇を楽しみたい方は是非！
