Location was good. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Booked our tour to Halong Bay and Cat Ba. Also our bus ticket to Ninh Binh. Hostel was very clean! Great breakfast included + free beer everyday for happy hour during evenings. VERY comfortable beds and pillows. Would highly recommend staying here. Best price and value. Absolutely no complaints!! Thank you Hanoi Centre Hostel! Hope to be back again one day.

Great clean hostel. ”
Nice large rooms, clean bathrooms, good vibe. Commons area downstairs with free breakfast and evening beers everyday. Not a party hostel but socializing is easy and relaxed. Close to food and all the good sights. Easy walk from Train station. Hostel offers tours and bundle deals which make it easy to save time and get a lot done. Large lockers under bed (multiple bags can be stored, I even fit in there haha) and room locks too. Safe and clean and great price! 3% added if you pay credit card at the foreign property, but we payed through Agoda ahead of time so no problem

Homely atmosphere with very friendly staff”
Located at a very convenient location at the heart of old district in Hanoi, the hostel is great for solo traveller or those in groups. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and also very helpful with any clarifications you might need or any special requests you might have. There is a hearty breakfast in the morning and the toiletries and linen provided is of respectable quality. The only issue is the lack of an elevator which might be a challenge for travellers with accessibility issues.

Reasonably Priced Beds with Free Beer (Happy Hour)”
The place was walking distance to St Joseph's Cathedral and Hoan Kiem Lake. Plenty of food nearby, make sure to try out Thai Dat, which is a grilled meat cafe. The rooms were clean, we had a double bed which was situated on the 5th floor, very quite, one other double bed in the room and single bunk bed as well. Bathroom was in the room itself, which made it convenient. Hanoi Centre Hostel does not have an elevator, so if you aren't able to go up 5 flights of stairs, may be good to request a room on the lower floors. The hostel offers free beer during their happy hour, 6-7pm, music and a great atmosphere to meet and mingle with other travellers.

Really nice staff”
They make you feel like home! I've been there more than one night and they were super cool! They kept my backpack on my days to Sa Pa. I extremely recommend this hostel for your days in Hanoi!

Excellent hostel in great location”
Walking distance to several walking streets, bar streets, markets, etc. Great local eateries around the area too. They offer free beer every day which is a great way to get people to socialize! They breakfast is also super good, and made to order. The breakfast and beer alone make this hostel worth it. Great WiFi too! Only con was that the staff seemed like they were trying to sell you everything - tours, sim cards, taxis, you name it they sold it. Maybe they were just trying to be helpful but i felt like we could find prices cheaper elsewhere.

Everything was god except the locker”
We had multiple hostel booking in our Vietnam trip. We liked everything about this hostel except that they didn't have a locked locker in the rooms. If you are not carrying a lock and key yourself, then your things are actually not safe there. But apart from that, the staffs, the breakfast, the beer party in the evening everything was super cool.

The hostel is nice, clean and comfortable. They offer free beer for an hr a day , it helps connect with the guests. They are also a tour desk and it’s convenient to book with them. Helped me get to ninh binh and the bus picked me up right in front

Good value for one night”
We arrived in Hanoi fairly late and decided to check into Centre Hostel which took us in last minute. The hostel is pretty central, a bit small and it was good for one night.

Good for a night”
This isn’t a happening hostel where you can expect to meet other travellers. It’s located in an alley, closed to the night market and other attractions. Clean space, great staff and good to sleep at. It’s quiet. Liked my stay because I spent just one night here

Decent hostel”
The night I stayed we had a bad rainstorm and it leaked in our room, all over one of the beds and the floor was a mess. Things happen but made us all a little nervous we would get soaked in the middle of the night. The bed had curtains although if you are on the bottom bunk, the curtains don't go to the top so you can see right in your bed. There is a big locker space under bed. The bathrooms were decent, two available for the floor. Breakfast was fine, typical menu options. They did offer a welcome drink when I arrived which was nice. Towel given too and in a good area.

Friendly, helpful staff weren't pushy and spoke excellent English. Good free breakfast. Room had super soft double mattress and was very clean. Located on a quieter street. Would definitely recommend!

The bed is horrible ”
Even it is cheap and the breakfast is okay, I wouldn't go there again. The bed is horrible. It has something like a hole in the middle and when you lay down you cannot move anymore and the the whole mattress is covered in something like plastic and you will sweat a lot. For the breakfast you can choose between two soups, toast, cereals and different drinks. But you will get only a small glass of juice or just one cup of coffee or tea. You also get a three preaches of fruit (watermelon, passion fruit and bananas). The second or third day I saw they offer a welcoming drink but I haven't received one. They also didn't inform me about the free beer. Some of the employees speak good English but others you just can't unterstand. Some of them also seem very harsh. In some other reviews I saw they selling overpriced trips. I went to several agencies and all but one have higher prices. If I didn't find that one, I would have bought the three day trip to Ha Long Bay through them.

We don't know how to make you happy and which will suitable with you guy. Please inform us we will change bed for you if possible. All hostel in Hanoi old quarter are the same mattresses. Regarding our breakfast, our guest alway enjoyed and recommend, free beer we were noted in the walls. I saw you expected alot with very cheap prices. About Halong bay, you did with 2 star cruise.
