I can commend the hotel for its cleanliness and beauty, but honestly the best part of staying in this hotel is the hospitality from the staff, Annie and Alisa, who I adore and truly appreciate, you guys made our stay very comfortable and memorable! I hope to see you again! - Airport transfer is very nice as well, with kind and attentive drivers, plus they use an SUV so it is not cramped. - Breakfast is decent and tasty, the restaurant staff were very nice and takes care of their guests, must try their omelette and banana pancake! - Location is very ideal, just a few minutes away from everything, and I mean from Old Quarter to VinCom Center, it’s very accessible! There are coffee shops just outside, and the street is not super busy so it’s not as chaotic as the others. - Of course, the dear receptionists, lovely attitude and very helpful with inquiries, you guys are definitely the best, I cannot emphasize this enough!

A quite retreat at the edge of the Hanoi Old Quarters”
We stayed at the Oriana Boutique Hotel for our last night in Hanoi. It was easily the best decision we made as it was just at the edge of the Old Quarters. Being located at the edge means the Hotel is not affected by vehicle restrictions in the Old Quarters in the weekends. This means we could still get Grab cars from the Hotel. If we were anywhere inside the Old Quarters, we would either have to walk or get Grab Scooters which were unsuitable for 2-person travelers. The Hotel is situated very near Hoan Kiem lake, which allows it to be accessible to the water puppet theatre, the famous street food vendors (egg coffee, Banh Cuon, Banh Xeo and a few others we did not get to try). The rooms were comfortable and quiet. As a result, we were able to sleep well at night without being disturbed by the noise from the passing traffic. The staff were able to communicate well in English and were able to give good advice especially with regards to must-sees in Hanoi. There was a little discrepancy from what we see outside the hotel vs what we see inside the hotel with regards to the uniform. The staff at the reception were in the traditional vietnamese wear, while the staff at the 8th floor where we had breakfast, were in casual wear. While this observation did not make huge difference in our experience, it did cause us to ponder the reasons. Nonetheless, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Staff is very friendly and I liked laundry service (U$1.5 per kg) and transfer to the airport(U$13). I stayed in a room with city view, which is a bit noisy due to traffic on the street but not a big problem during sleeping time.

Close to anywhere by walking distance in the central Hanoi. Breakfast is good and nice. The room is dark but clean. Only pity that AC and the fridge didn’t work, but staff supported me- so not a problem. Money for value!
