Excellent Location, Would Stay Again In Warmer Months”

Location was excellent the apartment was very good
Whilst it’s a truly spacious well equipped lovely apartment it really is in need of a lick of paint in bathrooms especially and TLC throughout. Some of the curtains wouldn’t close fully as they were off the track. Being such a large apartment it felt cold easily, it was Dec when we stayed and v windy for 2 days which made an horrific noise down the chimneys and in the fire grate, it felt really cold regardless of central heating. The furnishings are beautiful the beds very comfy & the kitchen very well equipped. Very private bedrooms, the flat above very noisy!!

Day 1 placed a carton of milk in fridge and the door shelf fell off! we visited 8-15th Dec, the heating was turned down so very low couldn’t increase at thermostat, 3 radiators turned off completely, the apartment is huge it was -4 to -7 degrees outside. We were freezing Luke warm showers no thank you !! The maintenance guy came on the 4th day after that it was lovely so 3days out of 7 we were warm but this neglect absolutely ruined our stay we’ve both ended up poorly. We stayed here the year before it was great that’s why we returned. Feel so very disappointed. Spent very little time in apartment due to lack of heating.

The apartment was very spacious. The location was great. And staff was responsive.
The owner of the apartment used the same access code for multiple apartments. We found out when other guests entered our apartment using the same code. We requested a couple of times for an updated code but never heard back from the owner. The feeling of being unsecured in a place you're staying at was a very unpleasant experience. The place could also be better cleaned. There were crumbs on the carpet. The second en suite bathroom (which was tiny, by the way) smelled musty.

superb location; absolutely huge apartment perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Quiet bedrooms whilst living looked out onto Hanover St. Bookcase filled with books on Scotland, politics, food, design, novels. Extremely comfortable sofas and beds.

Brilliant place to stay - highly recommended”

The booking was easy and the hosts are really responsive to questions. We were sent an entry code prior to arrival. It was really handy that we didn't have to worry about picking up/dropping off (or losing/forgetting) keys. The location is excellent - literally a few minutes walk from most of the main attractions. It was quiet at night (despite being in the centre) and the facilities are excellent. The apartment is roomy with comfortable beds and plenty of space to relax. We will definitely try and stay here again another time!

The apartment is a little tired, broken dining chairs, leaking shower hose, broken main fridge shelf etc. No DVD to TV lead, children couldn't watch movies they had purchased.
