Weekend at Happy Ripples”
Was looking for a beach resort near Victoria, Tarlac (We were coming from manila but have to pick up my wife's brothers there). saw this one online, booked it right away. Was warned about San Fabian not being so clean and so on, but to their surprise the place was really nice, we got the Capiz house. It was worth the trip. If you are looking for a beach resort near Manila (I think it would take around 3.5 hrs from QC) this can be on top of your list.

Beach Bungalow”
We enjoyed our stay here mostly because the staff was so helpful in many ways. We celebrated a relatives birthday with a party of 25 and utilized the pool and kareoke machine. Really enjoyed waking up early each morning to search the shoreline for seashells with my 5 yr old daughter each morning. We plan to stay there again next year when we visit San Fabian. Transportation was very affordable taking buses to and from. Tricycles were a bit more.

Funtime, family time with the family”
Our stay was better that we have expected. Keep in mind that this is a basic hotel and not a luxury hotel. We were welcomed to a studio room with two double beds (fits 4 medium size adults comfortably). The place was decent and clean, however, there were no standard toiletries offered (just soap and shampoo). Bed was just okay, none of my boys complained (but then again these are cowboys we are talking of, I would feel so much better with my own linens). Electricity was a bit of a problem, fluctuates every now and then affecting the aircondition (will not cool in the afternoon, but was very cold at night - so it was just okay since we were out beach bumming day time). Pool was small, but then again the resort only had 10+ rooms. The pool was acceptable. Hotel was located next to the beach which was great since my boys loves frolicking on the sand. Cell signals were bad from our room, but works well from their view deck, were you get perfect view of the sunset. Food was not superb, but was good and plenty. We could take our meal anywhere in resort we wish, we would almost always have it up the view deck ofcourse. The fact that there only limited rooms was great since there were not very many people. We were there on a Holy Week and were so happy we have the beach stretch just to a ourselves (and a very few others) unlike the resorts nearby, swarming with people and hawkers. This resort is perfect for some peaceful family bonding time.

Birthday celebration for our son”
The room is big with some welcome additions like that you can typically find in studio type hotel rooms albeit some minor improvements but the price tag is definitely worth it. The place is well maintained including the grass and plants and I hope it will be kept that way til we come back. But of course there are things to improve on like the pool, beachside facilities and more food choices but they're still adding some rooms so his resort will only get better over time. To those who would like to know how's the beach like, unfortunately it's not white sand and has strong waves so it could be a turn off to some but the place is relaxing nonetheless not to mention it's only an hour or 2 away from Baguio.

Beautiful resort”
Beautiful resort with a beautiful room right on beach. Unfortunately lacks in-room wi-fi, lacks fridge, lacks equipped kitchen (e.g. no kettle), look lacks hot water in shower. But the grounds, staff, atmosphere are wonderful.

room did not get cleaned every day, wanted to extend the stay and they would not honer the internet price even though the resort was near empty. Was told we must pay cash with them and we could not book another day through agoda so we could get the internet price.

nice stay overall!”
Pros: accomodating staff, clean and nice room setup, great landscaping, very quiet and relaxing place to stay if you are not that choosy, spa/massage services available. A very nice resort in the making (still under renovation and improvement when we went there), Cons: overpriced menu, small resort for the price, only 1 pool, beach area needs to be cleaned, some issues with toilet flashing but can easily be fixed, resort is still under renovation when we went there so a lot of workers are present in the resort not much of a privacy. Owner of the resort needs to include handicap/wheelchair access throughout the resort for better accommodation.

Well Run Resort Away from the Crowds”
Had a 2 day stay so kids and extended family could have fun at the beach and in the pool. Rooms very nice and look fairly new. Very nice grounds and garden area. No crowds on the beach too.

Very good”
Hotel Staff are very polite. It is a good beach to go to in the north. Clean with nice waves. But the hotel needs to improve their records. There was overbooking when we arrived and our name was not on the list of their expected guests for the day. It is good that our rooms were still given to us. Although, they later approached me to offer to stay only in 1 room instead of 2 rooms (which we booked). I politely declined since our vacation was planned early and we want to enjoy the accommodation we reserved.

Very nice and private”
Very nice. Very private. Venue is nice for private events. Breakfast is very sumptuous! They just have to improve on: have a menu, have more food options, provide kitchen accessories at the studio type room, improve quality of beddings and towels, provide slippers.

Typical Provincial Hotel”
I like the location since it has a beach nearby (a few steps away from the hotel). THe room is huge...has a kitchen, hot and cold shower, towels, etc. Pool was a bit dirty when we stayed. Bed was a bit weak and it got broken when I tried to sitdown on one of the beds.

just ok...”
The food was good and the place was silent since i prefer remote area.. When we arrived, the staff helped us however they werent that attentive since there wasnt any phone in the room to call them we had to go out and find one. The tv only showed 2 programs so i couldnt watch anything as a foreigner. It was difficult to go somewhere to grab food when we were hungry. I think they have to improve the facilities and staff performance..

Mismanaged”
Location and facilities relatively acceptable. But manager should be more attentive to his work. He does not stay in the resort and our messages to him are not relayed to the staff. Before our arrival we sent him a message that we'll have lunch in his place. But the staff said they did receive an instruction. We have to wait 2 and a half ours for our food order ad the staff had to buy the ingredients for our food at a nearby market. We also informed the manager that we want a massage for four in the evening. The front desk only called a massuese at almost about the time of our appointment so that only one came and we gad to forego with the rest. Manager of this place must shape up.

It was a serene place, good for family bonding.”
We had a great bonding with my family. We enjoyed the stay because of the serene surrounding perfect for Holy Week Holiday! The only problem encountered was the poor room air-conditioner.

Nice quiet place”
We came to rest and to be at a quiet place, we got that. But: 1) NO INTERNET (if this is not fixed, we'll never go there again!) 2) The food is NOT impressive. We ate because we had to, but not because of the taste. They will have to improve the food for westerners (we love Thai, Laos, Vietnam, Malay food, but the Philipine kitchen will never come into this list). Never really warm food. 3) Food has to be ordered in advance, it happens that this is inopportune. 4) No warm/hot shower. The water is not really cold and you get used to it, but it is not nice. Plenty for them to work on, but the place certainly has possibilities.

staff are generally pleasant but resort needs to further improve cleanliness and facilities”
Upon checking in, my allergic rhinitis attacked because the room is dusty when they switched on the aircon. we were out of the resort the entire two days. upon check out, we were informed that extra person is charged Php500 (including children above 5yrs old) even if we did not request for additional bed. extra charge does not even include breakfast. It could have been more acceptable if they inform clients upon checking in about extra charges and extra charges must at least include breakfast.

Had fun in the water”
My regret was that the showerhead got busted due to the high pressure. I did notify the staff but they did not do anything about it. The cable TV wasn't working. That was okay since I enjoyed the beach and the pool.
