Hotel is bright, clean and well-designed. The common area which was very comfortable has shelves filled with comic books. Staff at the front desk that I have encountered were very helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend this place

Exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful with any requests and questions we had. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good selection on offer. The view of Fuji mountain from the room window was an added bonus. Great hot bath on the ground floor. Very relaxing after a long day walking around the city. The location is a little bit far from Shizuoka city, although there is bus stop a short walk away which gets you there in around 30 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hatago Inn and would definitely recommend!

It was easy to locate and we didn’t have a difficult time finding it. It’s also really nearby to Mc Donald’s which was great as we had the choice of eating the breakfast buffet or going out for breakfast. Overall a comfortable stay, staff were extremely helpful & friendly.

Like many hotels in the area, it is very affordable. We travel in family of 5, and got two rooms with 3 beds in each. Rooms are clean. We did not try the public bath though. Breakfast is okay for what they charge but you need to manage expectation on quality. Plenty of comic books in Japanese language available at lobby/cafeteria if it is your thing.

Beautiful comic library”
The interior design of the hotel lobby and comic library that doubles up as a breakfast place is very well done. Laundry room is also available and one machine does everything from washing to drying. Wish I have one like that at home. The room is spacious for 3 although one of us have to climb up to use the bed that is deck across the double bed. A night light should be place near the ladder to avoid accidents. Additional amenities are provided at the lift lobby on the ground floor. Love the clever use of space in the room.

Though my family and I only stayed here for a single night, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our family room which housed a double bed was in pristine condition, making excellent use of the space. As an added benefit, the hotel is also home to a large collection of books, all of which are available and free to read in their library.

This is a new, clean hotel with everything from hot springs to the best breakfast buffet. Plenty of free parking, right next to a 7-11, 24hrs restaurants across the street and gas station down the street. Staffs are very professional and friendly. Very comfortable hotel. The best I've stayed in Japan so far!

I booked one night at this hotel as a mere pitstop in my road trip but I wished I stayed for more than that! The hotel was amazingly clean and the staff wonderfully helpful. There is not a whole lot around but it was enough for my friends and I. Definitely worth a stay if you're in the area!
