Excellent location”

This is my second time in the hotel In Tokyo most of the time outside the room So what I had in mind was that the hotel would have a relatively central location and close to the metro The only problem was the room size, the room was super small and sometimes uncomfortable

Good location ”

Apa hotel at this location there is 4apa hotel, the location not bad very near to subway station. The hotel actually not bad but the cleaning company not really honest at all, as I left my spite card at the hotel and it went missing, and I did report to the hotel front desk they did told me that they didn’t saw my cards when they do housekeeping. The front desk did told me that if they happen to found the cards will email me n ask me fly from spore back to japan (Tokyo) to collect the cards.

Good location, good value”

Its a good 15 min walk to the center of Shinjuku (where the department stores are). However, it is only about 100-200m away from the Higashi-Shinjuku station, which makes it quite convenient. Another good thing is that they have a ZanmaiSushi (not sure I spelt it correctly) just across the street. It's a chain sushi restaurant. This one opens from 10 AM to 5 AM the next day. So it's great for a late night bite. Normally, APAs are very good, but I think they might have forgotten to vacuum the floor before I checked in because there was hair on the floor everywhere.

Convenient location and room”

Located very close to Higashi Shinjuku station but there’s not many things nearby except for a lot of bars. The room is clean and convenient in a typical size for Tokyo. Always love how everything is provided in a japanese hotel. U basically hav to bring only facial cream.

Small room but super clean, near the station”

I booked double room which is super small. only a short 60 cm width way to walk to the toilet. Not sure if Twin room might be better for 2 ppl. However, the room is well equipped and very clean. Only a short walk to Higashi Shinjuku station.

Great location but very small room ”

The location in Shinjuku was great, with shops, restaurants and transport links nearby. The fittings of the room were new and everything was clean. However, the room was very small, so small that we could barely fit two large suitcases there, we had to put one on the desk and one on the floor. Also, the noise of the fridge was annoying at night. It’s fine if you basically want to spend all day exploring the city as we did. If you plan to spend some time at the hotel I’d recommend you book a larger room.

great location with 3 mins walk away from Higashi Shinjuku Fukutoshin & Oedo Line! few stations away from popular destinations like Harajuku, Shibuya and Omotesando! 10mins walk to main Shinjuku central area! the BBQ store nearby the train station was awesome too!! 8mins walk to Don Quijote!

A long walk from Shinjuku station”

The place is small and clean. They don't have a lounge area for receiving customers but they do allow you to keave your luggage since check in is at 3PM. The only thing was it took ages to get to Shinjuku station (20mins)

Excellent Hotel, Location, Cleanliness”

I loved my hotel room. I was on the 14th floor (top floor) on a corner room so it was very quiet. The curtains blocked out the bright sunlight. The room was very clean. The staff spoke English and very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent because it was only a 2 minute walk to the nearest subway station. There are lots of convenience stores nearby such as Family Mart, 7 Eleven, and Lawsons where I can buy cheap fresh fruits, hot food, sandwiches, drinks, etc. There are many restaurants nearby. The big shopping areas are only one stop from the nearest subway station. All the major tourist attractions can be accessed by subway from the nearest subway station. I would book this hotel again if I visit Tokyo again. I highly recommend this hotel.

New and nice hotel in good location”

Nice hotel with central location in Shinjuku. 10 minutes by foot to both Shinjuku station and Shin-Okubo, giving you plenty of opportunities to explore Tokyo. Only negative experience: was given a room on the second floor, with a view to a relativly busy street. Resulted in a bit too much noises from cars/police etc., so would request a high-floor room next time.

Acceptable price in Shinjuku”

Acceptable price in Shinjuku, not cheap but not expensive. Location is not bad, easy to reach the Metro station and JR station, ~10min to Shinjuku JR Station, < 5min to Shinjuku East Metro Station. Compare with the central of Kabukicho, this hotel is quite quiet. However, heard police car alarm sometimes. So far, this hotel is not bad in this price.

1 week stay in Japan”

Had a great time staying in this hotel. Pro: Near Oedo line (Higashi-shinjuku station) will take less than 5 mins walk also near Fukutoshin Line. Near to many convinient stores 7-11 and across the street is Family Mart and little walk is Don Quixote. When it comes to cleanliness they are very good. Cons: Early check in they could offer is 12pm, so plan carefully in case you're flight is midnight to morning arrival in Tokyo.

Excellent stay”

The room and the toilet were very clean. Towels were new and fresh and toiletries were supplied regularly. Coffee and tea were of good quality. Staff were very helpful and always trying their best to help. Service and courtesy is 5-star. The only downside are the pillows, they were too thin, else was OK.

Apa hotel shinjuko higashi”

Very nice location 2 minutes from higashi shinjuko station. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is new and very nice. Very kind staff . Comfortable. Small room but that typical in japan. Worth the money. Breakfast have to choose between 3 choices. There is one elevator for all the guests. No washing machine for cloth. Thank you

The bed is comfy and the room is clean. Hotel is a 10-15minute walk from Shinjuku station. Bathroom a little bit of a squeeze but nothing to complain about. Housekeeping was pleasant and so was reception. Amenities like razors, comb, toothbrush etc etc provided. Overall a good stay.

Small and cozy hotel. Location wise not bad...5mi n walk to stationm There is mscomald near to the hotel as well as shops.The only thing id whole day u will hear ambulance padding by..I think there might be a hospital nrarby. This ids the only dislikes

The room is good and clean. Staffs are helpful. Location is good, near subway station (Higashi-shinjuku) just around 300 m. and you can walk to Shinjuku shopping area. There are mini marts; 7/11, Familymart, Drugstores and sushi restaurant around hotel The only weak point is very small room.

Worst system in APA hotel ( not recommended )”

I stay 10 night in APA hotel, the location is good but the room is very small not convenient & no space to put your luggage. There is no room cleaning & service for the room i have book, i requested the staff for the room cleaning the staff told me only provide room cleaning after 3 days & provide 1 bottle of mineral water in the 2 guest room. The staff told me this is hotel rules system, guest must follow the instruction. I am very disappointed for the APA hotel service!! I won't come back this kind of bad service hotel again! Highly not recommended !!!!!!

Room is small (typical in Japan) but everything works and are clean. Breakfast next building (another APA hotel) - basic but ok. Visitors must note that there are a few APA hotels in the vicinity - so get the name right.
