great hotel”
the only thing i didn't like was the distance of the hotel from the train station. it was a 10min walk and it was freezing by the time we went there. aside from that my overall experience from the hotel was great. the room was clean the staffs were helpful the internet connection is good there is an available resto. it was a really nice place to stay at.

A massive hotel in a convenient place”
My family and I all stayed at this APA hotel and we enjoyed our time in Chiba before they flew off back home. The hotel is pretty close to Kaihin-Makuhari Station and a lot of malls including Grand AEON Mall. The hotel is serviced with a free shuttle bus to the station and there are always taxis outside the hotel entrance. The hotel also has convenient regular airport buses to Narita and Haneda for about 1000 yen. The bus was far less crowded than buses I usually take from Tokyo Station. The room was quite good. The bed was soft. The public bath was pretty crowded and chaotic, but that can't really be helped with so many visitors.

Convenient”
Their buffet breakfast was great. Variety of food to choose from. The location is amazing and close to disneyland. Its easy to get to the hotel by getting a limousine bus which directly stops at the hotel entrance. Costs about 1,000 yen. There’s a shuttle going to the outlet store. Very convenient checking in and out. When checking out, you just have to drop the key cards at the lobby. You only have to walk a few blocks to get to the train station.

Resort Type Hotel Without the Price”
This APA hotel rocks! Huge hotel with onsen, shops, restaurants, pool and convenience store. Near the station and so close to Makuhari Messe for conventions and also to the buses at the station to get to AEON mall / Costco. We have one young child and reserved one room with 2 semi-double beds. The beds are moveable so we combined them. Rooms are smaller than what we're used to in the states (USA) but it'll work...especially for the price.

Perfect place to stay! ”
This hotel is so fabulous. They have Onsen inside, i so love it! Very luxurious for a reasonable room rate per night. The room is clean with complete amenities. It’s quite big than a normal room in Japan. Im definitely staying again in APA.

My Hotel Home in Tokyo”
I always stay at the APA Hotel & Resort Tokyo Bay Makuhari whenever I visit Tokyo Japan because of its proximity to a lot of attractions and shopping outlets. The price is very affordable and the facilities are clean. The food being offered free for breakfast is also very good. A bit far from the trains station but they have a shuttle bus that runs until noon time. I just wish they could extend this shuttle service until the evening. They also offer transport service going to either Haneda Airport or Narita Airport. Shopping is so easy as they have a huge shopping outlet nearby. It's my third time stay hear and for sure I will keep coming back.

It was raining heavily when we check in, however, location of hotel is good, we just need to walk under sheltered/ bridges to reach. I stayed in apa hotels before when I visited osaka so I kind of expected the small room. Nonetheless, as we were given a higher floor room, the view was great. Automated check in but staffs were there to help. The only down side is that the pillow is like a thin layer of foam. However, I called reception to ask for another pillow and they did send me a better, decent pillow after calling twice for it(maybe they were busy). Overall, you get what you paid for and it's clean. Didn't try the onsen as we did not like the idea of a public onsen so gave it a missed.

Nice place”
This is a nice place to stay for a small room with a good price. The hotel is new with Traditional Japanese baths and 24 hours convenience store to purchase the minimum essentials and some good snack foods. The staff are helpful and nice. There is a bus that runs from the hotel to both airports for 1200 Yen.

Sophisticated ”
Sophisticated, indeed. The experience starts when we want to reach hotel. They have a bridge connecting the hotel with station. Then the lobby is grand. They have automatic check in counter as well. The room is spacious & the bed is really comfortable. They have 3 spa area for women & 2 for men! Sometimes they swap the spa place for man & woman. So during my 5nights stay, I tried 4 different spa place hehe. The only thing they need to improve is the tap water taste. I think theres leak somewhere so the tap water smells & taste awful. So I need to buy mineral water during my stay there

You can also spend the time with grace in the lobby, because of spectacular interior. There are TOTAL twelve sophisticated machinery, so we can serve many guests when the reception is crowded. We pursue efficiency so it was grateful for you to feel them. Perhaps you stayed in Deluxe Twin room? If so the size is 32.5 square meters and 120 centimeters each one bed. Bed of APA is cloud fit. Once you lied on it, you may feel as if you were on the cloud. Hot springs are TOTAL three for womens and two for mens. We replace them according to the date of even and odd numbers. We apologize for the awful quality of tap water. As for usual, you can drink them but we have to inspect them more and more. Thank you for posting here. Receptionist Iso.

Wonderful expirience @ this hotel! They do have a limousine bus to and from the Airport which will cost around 10 us dollars each adult, and they have a free shuttle bus to the train station! Rooms are small but do you really spend more then half of the time at the hotel when youre traveling? Probs not so was absolutely worth it!! Super clean, amazing staff! And they have a spa for free!! We looooveeed our stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone! We will definitely be back!!!

Stay in the central tower with ocean view, it’s worth the extra 2,000-3,000yen! Was very clean and facilities were great! Wonderful quick short trip!

Location is good. Free shuttle bus from hotel to JR station. It is walking distance from hotel to station. It has outlet next to station. Also, it has 3 Aeon mall around hotel. It has 2 x Lawson and one drug store in hotel. Really convenient.

Great view and ofuro”
This is in the Makuhari Resort so it's a great location for local events as well as the easy access to the beach. The views can be spectacular and the Japanese-style bath or "ofuro" is excellent. Have stayed many times

Good Location”

Love the ocean view”
The location is good. It’s near a shopping area where you can choose a lot of places to dine from. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the station. There’s a bus from the station but i think it’s better off to walk it. There’s a covered walk leading to the hotel. Choose the ocean view! Try their Onsen, it’s amazing. You mustn’t miss it. Cons: The pool has a fee. Initially I thought it was free since I asked the staff upon checking in and she said it was only to find out it’s not. It’s kind of steep at 1500 yen per person. The maximum number of adults per room is only 3. I wish they could accommodate up to 4 people.

Excellent location - walking distance from the train station, beach, Mitsui Outlet Store and food stall/restaurants. The hotel itself houses several restaurants and coffee shops and convenience store so if you do not feel like going out, everything is still within reach.

NIce place if you have business in Chiba area.”
Very nice place to stay with good value for the money, there are lots of nice restaurants in the facility to include nice open Japanese Bath house and massage. Also have 2 Lawsons to buy snacks and drinks. 1km from large mall, 500m from Marines Baseball Stadium and 200m from Makuhari conference hall with nice included walkway leading to entrance. Not much for night life, that is a 30 min taxi ride... Overall highly recommended if staying in that area. Also breakfast was very nice with numerous choices both foreign and Japanese style food.

Stayed here for a staycation. Being lazy after had hectic days before. Enjoyed the apa n onsen rooms. Took the free shuttle to mitsui outlet factory. Just awesome! Like usual!
