Cool and fresh hostel”

Perfect location near Asakusa temple, very fresh experience to live with lots of books. Staffs are friendly, but the public space is quite small, you don’t have personal Locker or storage place. You got to open the luggage in public area, even when took out the underwear. It’s quite awkward. Except of lacking personal space and non privacy, it’s a good place that you can have different experience in 1 time. BTW, towel is not for free, you have to pay for it by credit card, no cash. It’s a little bit no convenience.

The bed is too thin. The breakfast is too fancy. Other than that, this place is fantastic.

Place for people to show on Instagram or Facebook”

Their check-in time is 4pm. Even you arrived at 3.50pm they won't let you check-in. It is not cheap, it is just a place for youngster take photo to post. You can get better B&B with better service and rate in Asakusa. Toilet not enough and on peak morning time guess need to wait outiside. No drinking water machine for guess to fill anytime, need to approach staff at the bar counter for it. It is troublesome during night time.

Already Thinking of When to Go Again”

I went with two other friends and we really enjoyed it. The staff are really nice, there are English books and we enjoyed breakfast (love the coffee). I will definitely go back but I think it’s better to go on my own. It’s really quiet there, and you really would just want to relax and read a good book.

Excellent Location with Hospitality”

the only minor thing I suffered was air conditioning. considering plenty of visitors are women who are generally feel cold in January time, so heater was on and natually, aircon or less-noised fan was needed to me and those who are not that much cold, even feel a bit hot in these warm-winter time. HOWEVER!, other services was totally great and I recommend this BNBT franchises as much as I can. officers who were so fluent in both Korean & English language so I enjoyed an enormous services. Advertisement to domestic & Int'l Media for promoting this BNBT is highly needed to experience this library-like facilities. Again, Thanks Million of letting me in BNBT :)

Unique capsule hotel with great atmosphere”

Unique capsule hotel with wonderful staff and excellent service. Really interesting and contrasty entrance too. Central lounge area integrated into the room area makes for much more interactions (but possibly also noise) compared to other hotels. Not many rooms so book ahead (pun intended!).

Hot and Noisy”

The idea of the hotel is good and the hostel looks nice. However the "room" was sooooo hot and not airy. I kept waking up once I fell asleep. I woke up in sweat, with heart pumping fast, just like sleeping in a sauna.

Utk pilihan kapsul htl yg lbh istimewa boleh coba Book & Bed Asakusa ini. Lokasi nya strategis banget .. samping htl starbuck , jalan nyebrang sdh di Sensoji temple Asakusa. Ukuran tempat tidur ya cuma 180x200 dgn tinggi 100 ( cuma bs duduk😂) . Sayang nya kalo tirai di tutup malah jd bengap... jd kita tirai sedikit spy hawa ac masuk . Library nya nyaman banget dan suguhan minuman nya jg enak . Syukur nya kalo ketemu sesama tamu yg ga berisik dan ga jorok . Kalo gak kan bau nya ga enak krn bersebelahan . Buat yg mau adventure .., tempat ini recomended👍

Secret hideaway for book lovers ”

I ended up extending my stay for one more night because I wanted to keep reading! They have such comfy couches right in front of each of our "pods" with a pile of blanket, and I could just stay there for hours. Everything was clean (and cleaned very often from what I had witnessed), the staff very friendly and polite, and the location can't be beat (a minute walk to Nakamise -street). So take an advantage of it and walk around after sunset to see the lighted temples and pagodas. It's pretty and a lot less busy. The only problem I had was their breakfast black bagel sandwich; I'm sorry to say, but the charcoal taste (their trademark flavor) was just not for my taste. With so many convenience stores nearby, I would skip the service (unless it's automatically included in your booking - Agoda does that) and just get something on your own. But that's just my opinion - I saw quite a few people trying their charcoal flavored drink. The entrance was a bit difficult to find.

The hostel is located near Asakusa and it is convenient for persons to hang out. However it may be difficult to find the front desk. When I was at the sixth floor I wondered where the front desk was as it was so unusual and weird. The bunks are hidden in the book shelf and I really love the special design. Most guests are youth who enjoy reading in the evening. For me, the atmosphere there is really comfortable and I love it. Clean and tidy, so don’t worry about the cleanliness. Even though, some facilities should be upgraded, for example I suggest that more restrooms should be available to male guests. In brief, I recommend young people who love the quiet environment to have a try in this hostel. It won’t disappoint you

The interior design is very special and of high quality. The staff was nice but some seemed to be new as it took him 20-30 mins to prepare for a single set of breakfast. The hostel offers good-quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner for free!! The only inconvenience is that there are no lockers so the luggage is placed in the space under the bottom bunk. But there is a small safety deposit box for every bed. Bed is small as with every other accommodations in Tokyo.

Truly Unique Hostel ”

Strategically located - there's a Starbucks outlet next door, and it's within walking distance to Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Station. I booked the Standard Room With Breakfast (requested to have a bunk at the book shelves & got it). Breakfast is the same throughout my stay (charcoal bagel with smoked duck and mushroom + coffee/tea of your choice). I arrived before the stated check-in time, but the staff kindly let me keep my luggages at the hostel so I can go out and explore Asakusa. The overall experience is great, but there are some things that can be improved. 1) Add more breakfast variety. 2) Put USB fan in every bunk, because sometimes I couldn't feel the air-con breeze. 3) Provide basic necessities like towel, soap, and shampoo. 4) The check-in time of 4:00 PM is pretty late, perhaps make it earlier to 2:00 PM/3:00 PM?

Well connected with the rest of the city, Asakusa is a lovely place where you can find what you need, good shopping area as well. Plenty of important temples.

Value for Money”

A great yet value for money place to stay, perfect place for you who always sleep in the library back when you in school, breakfast included are okay, the best thing is that this place located just 500metre from Asakusa Temple and located near the train station which you definitely can go around Tokyo with.

Book and bed was a nice place to stay. Easy to get to, and the staff were very friendly. Lots of great options for books! Make sure you book enough time to finish reading at least a couple of stories from the selection.

they throw away my earing inside my room after check in”

the hostel in the afternoon is library so everyone can stay in there and have easy access to our room, the hairdyer can not use after 12 o'clock , they put in the locker, dont have any shampoo or anything, we must pay, and the dissapointed is they put my earing in the garbage, they think that just a garbage although it inside my room and after i insist them to find, they find it, before that, they blaming me because i dotnt take cre my belonging, how come like that?l

Very cool capsule hotel”

We stayed for one night when we realised our airbnb booking was one day short! Compared to other capsule hotels I've stayed in I much preferred this one. Very clean and tidy, a nice atmosphere with everyone reading, and good facilities. The staff are very nice and friendly and there are a lot of cool touches, like a secret door to enter. Bed was comfortable, though I'm not sure how I feel about having to put my sheets on it myself!
