Extremely convenient location, it is right next to all the Akihabara shops like Radio Kaikan, and only a couple minutes from the Akihabara station. Extremely clean and quiet. Staff can speak English somewhat and are helpful. The one thing that I didn't like was that they required you to store everything in the locker, but that is understandable as bringing things to the sleep quarters may disturb others. If your locker is full, they can store things for you in the back. The bath is public, but I found it easy to get used to, they do let you use a small tower to cover your privates if you wish. Baths provide free things, shampoo, body wash, bath scrub, disposable razor, toothbrush, hair products, etc. The onsen was very relaxing. The capsule room itself was nice, they provide free water. The TV only had a few basic channels to watch. The room felt warm so I turned on the fan unit, but it never got cool enough for me to need the blanket. Please note that this is a male only hotel.

The beds were comfy, all the toiletries you would need are provided free of charge, from toothpaste and toothbrush to towels. Also as the hotel provides pyjamas, aka 'indoor clothes' which you change into when you come back to the hotel, if you turned up with only the clothes on your back, you would be fine! The staff were accommodating and friendly, and understood easily enough English so that anything I needed or had questions about they were able to help me. If you're a westerner - this hotel is very popular with Japanese businessmen, so you won't find too many other westerners here. If you're looking to meet people to explore and socialise around Tokyo with, this probably isn't the hotel for you - everybody keeps to themselves. If that kind of thing doesn't bother you though, you will find the hotel very nice. Bear in mind that the bathing facilities are a typically Japanese affair, with a big shared room to shower in and a shared spa pool. It didn't bother me though!

Right in the middle of Akihabara”
A nice clean Capsule hotel right in the middle of Akihabara. Onsen was very nice to wash away the day. I had no issues with a large bag with bigger lockers provided and no daily checkout like some capsule hotels.

they have both English and Chinese speaking staff that are very friendly. free dranks. hot food vending machine is also available, not that you will need it as there's a lot of restaurants and snack shops nearby. The only downside I can think of is the location. it's less than 10 mins walk away from the train station yet it took me a good half an hour walking around the block to find it. The hotel is kinda hidden behind a building as well as the hotel sign.

Excellent location but facilities can be better”
I loved the location as it is right around the corner of Akihabara street where all the activities are. As this is the 2nd time I stayed in Anshin Oyado capsule hotel, the facilities in this branch is not as great as the one I stayed in Shinjuku. For eg. there is no cafe in this branch but the one at Shinjuku has one. Overall I would still recommend Anshin Oyado but given a chance, I might try other capsule hotel around the same premises.

I could not look for a smile from menter’s face. And that, there were a rumbling, speaking, and noisy men in capsule floor. Please pay to manage to floor environment.

Japan on budget”
Was nearing the end of my month long trip throughout Japan and was running low on funds to stay in Tokyo. This place is great for the last couple of night before flying off back. Decent sleeping pods, lounge area with some food and drinks ; near Akihabara station was a real gem.

A accomodtion for local people but not overseas visitors”
Pros: 1. very close to Akihabara Station 2. free soft drink, coffee & tea, alcohol, miso soup, rice, egg, artificial hot spring, massage chair, manga, indoor clothes, slippers, ear plugs and more. Cons: 1. very small capsules without any storage area 2. lockers are very small and on different floor from the sleeping floors 3. the floors feel sticky when walking with provided slippers 4. poor ventilation Despite the pros sound like pro-visitors, the very limited storage area makes this hotel not convenient for overseas visitors who normally carry luggage, even for backpackers. As I observed, most of the guests were local people, some of them look like office workers / businessmen who might just need a place to shower, rest and sleep overnight after work. From their point of view, the setup of this hotel would be convenient. But for me, I would have choose another one though I don’t regret the stay.

Great capsule hotel”
+ Free lockers (personal and shower) + Free drinks + Free tv and VOD options in the capsule itself + Hot tub, showers, and laundry in the basement + Free disposable shaving razors and toothbrushes (didn't see any toothpaste, though) + sinks on each floor of rooms if you don't need to shower and just need to shave/brush teeth + For anime lovers: has the animax channel which is basically 24/7 anime (no subs, though so I hope you practiced your anime Japanese) + very clean with dirtiness mainly coming from other guests, if at all. + Near Akihabara station + Near core of Akihabara area - staff has a bit of a hard time with English, so knowing some Japanese will go a long way. = Changing clothes is tedious since they keep any larger luggage behind the counter = when you go out for the day, you get a card to reclaim the key to your locker (prob for security against theft of the key) Overall, great experience. Would stay again.

+ Capsule hotel was good with toileteries, towels, handphone charger (USB/lightning available!) included + 2nd floor with free soft drinks also available, and miso soups also available (choice of condiments available), free massage chairs as well + Underground onsen area with shower - As per capsule hotel, you can’t bring your luggage to the room. Thus you’ll have to pack/unpack on the ground floor, although staff are accommodating

A Surprising Gem in Akihabara”
If you want to stay in the middle of Akihabara but want to try something different, this is one place worth giving a try. Since I was only staying 1 night in Akihabara before going to Sapporo, I decided to look for a capsule hotel as the price of normal hotels were quite expensive. I also wanted to stay in Akihabara because I need to price hunt for some stuff. I was not expecting much from this place as I already know what it is like to stay in a capsule hotel. When I stayed there, I loved it. Pro's: - friendly and English-speaking staff - very organized, with lots of signage and instructional manuals - super clean shared toilets and nice smelling too! Plus, they are surprisingly spacious - free drinks! - food vendo, specially if coming in late and no time to look for restaurants outside. It is located in the "free area" where you can eat your own food and watch tv with other guests. There is also massage chair. - larger than usual capsules with pillow options Cons: - could be noisy

Nice stay”
The staff was very kind and accommodating (my Japanese is very rough but they were able to work with me). The bath was easily accessible and provided everything necessary, including a towel, bath towel, soaps, conditioner, shampoos, etc. The bathrooms were clean and provided all necessary toilet trees. So if you're looking for a small space to rest leave your things and clean up at, this may be the hotel for you.
