To be honest, this guest house is cheap, but the quality is very low...It's dusty and not clean, the bed is not good and without privacy because it's not closed enough (at least to my bed on top, the bottom one seems to be better). Plus, you have to pay for a shower, I know it was specified but it's just too aberrant. The good point is the price and the other roommates.

Good location for trains to go akiba, skytree including direct trains to shinjuku, yokohama, and narita airport Very simple hostel with staff always attentive to needs. Could be bit crowded with other guest if occupancy full..

Nice place, quiet neighborhood ”
I stayed here for about 2,5 weeks and really liked the place. The staff (actually I think I just met Hayato) was really friendly and helped me with many things. The beds are quite comfortable (although the sheets are statically charged), the facilities were clean and the Wifi worked quite well. There are two showers and enough toilets - so you won't have to wait. I actually never had to wait. There's a washing machine and a dryer you can use, as well as a fridge and a microwave. The neighboring area is really nice and quiet - there are many inexpensive shops and restaurants and a nice public bath. It doesn't take long to go into the city, JR station is within 10 minutes of walking.

Awful hostel; you get ripped off for everything!”
The cost is seemingly economical, but yuk, you should never think of Edo Tokyo hostel! What you save is lost in all these undesirable factors! 1. Too far away from city centre and it costs you a good amount by JR train to get to Shin KoiWa station. 2. Manager is outright rude and does not allow anyone to come in before check in time. Four visitors from Germany were stuck outside. Another lady was hurt and needed to sit on a chair, but was refused in since it was "not check-in time" yet. Similarly, you gotta leave immediately after check-out time and you are discourteously told so. 3. The hostel charges you money to use even a shower! Cheapo! 4. There is nil privacy for guests since all beds are in view of the reception and dining hall, all of which are in one room!. Lights are on even after 11 pm and so you cannot sleep in the bright light. 5. The self dish-washing sink is misused for tooth-brushing and toilet purposes , rendering it unusable for the primary purpose. 6. There is no phone in the hostel and you can only call someone if he or she has whatsapp. One of us requested the manager's help, but he refused to oblige. Do not book this hostel!

Adequate for solo traveler if it is a short stay”
The experience was okay. For the price and since this is a sharing type, it should be already expected that it will not be the most comfortable of experiences, and you also need to put in 100 yen coins every time you use the shower. If you spend most of your time outside in Tokyo, and only come back just to shower and sleep, then this location is adequate. There are two plug points in the wooden bed frame beside your bed, so you can charge your phone. There is also a lamp inside your bed space. There is free Wi-Fi, just go through a short registration process in a web page. The mattress and blanket is highly electrostatic, so be careful and ground yourself by touching the wooden bed frame.

Cheap but gets the job done”
Non-existent staff but everything is prepared upon arrival; check-in and check-out is quick as you don't have to do anything. Common area is spacious and tidy. Pillow is thin and no extra available. No free toiletries, towel, or free use of shower. Price is very cheap especially if you just need somewhere to rest and leave your things for the day. Location is a little far from the station especially if you are carrying heavy things like groceries but still manageable; nearest station is connected to major destinations in Tokyo.

Best for Backpacker”
This hostel located near shin-koiwa JR station, 10-15 min walk. Suitable for back backer and not recommended for family with group (living room and dorm in one room). Facilities are bedroom, toilet, freezer, bathroom (100 JPY/15 min), kitchen (only microwave and some bowl and glass), laundry (100 JPY each) I stay for 4 night with my wife, and the staff are quite helpful. Suitable who seeking low budget hostel.

This property is not bad but it just wanted impressive. I didn't have any major issues with it. The lounge area isn't very sufficient as it's basically a dining room table and chairs so there wasn't really anywhere to hang out comfortably so I stayed in my bed while I was there. There were a lot of washrooms so there was never any issues with waiting. The shower costs 100 yen every time which was a bit annoying but fine. The beds themselves weren't bad. A little lacking in comfort but not too bad. There was a plug right next to my pillow (not sure if that was the same for everyone) that was very useful. One thing I didn't love was the fact that there was no security really as the door was kept unlocked at all hours of the day. This is a bit stressed in terms of safety but nothing ever happened. The location isn't bad but it's far from the center of Tokyo. The area it was situated in was nice and vibrant but it took at least 30 minutes (including 10 minutes walking to the subway) to get downtown. Overall, it did the job.

Super rapport qualité/prix. Tokyo c'est grand donc l'hostel ne se situe pas forcément dans le centre-ville de Tokyo mais il est quand même placé dans un quartier très actif aussi. J'ai bien aimé le changement au niveau de l'architecture comparé aux classiques hostels qu'on peut voir: ici on dort dans des sortes de box! Les toilettes aussi étaient différentes et vraiment j'ai kiffé! Le voyage commençait déjà dans l'auberge! Le personnel est sympa mais dommage que l'anglais ne soit pas une langue autant pratiqué car à plusieurs reprises j'ai eu des difficultés à communiquer mais ça va on parvenait toujours à se comprendre. Je regrette un peu le fait que pour se doucher on doit payer l'eau car normalement ça devrait être inclus.

很像大學研究室的空間，空間並不大 櫃檯人員偶爾會不在，入住可能需要等待 地理位置不錯，可以直接從成田機場搭總武線到達住宿點 雖然從車站到住宿點需要走一段路，但是可以直接走商店街過去，不會被風吹雨淋 洗澡洗衣服一次100円，鎖櫃也需要費用，盥洗用品需自備，洗髮精偶爾會用光 對於需要省錢的朋友是個不錯的選擇 注意! 容易過敏的朋友請三思! 對安全有疑慮的朋友跟攜帶貴重物品的朋友也請三思!

JR新小岩站徒步八分鐘可到，車站周邊生活機能不錯。床位略窄，廁所還算乾淨，然而隱私稍嫌不足，時常可聽到其他房客的交談聲或打呼聲。但看在幾乎是東京同期最便宜住處的份上就也不做太多批評了。
