Two days in grape house”

This guest house located nearby Koenji station. It takes about 5 to 7 minutes to get subway station from grape house. And there are a lot of restaurants & convenience stores too. Especially recommend for this restaurant, 薔薇亭, nearby station. guest house's staffs are very kind, and respectful. They can speak English, but Japanese speaker's can communicate with them more fluently. If you're lucky, you can meet cute puppie who's name is Ling. Even guests are so kind and funny. Hope I can visit this house again someday. Thanks for providing this lovely place.

Great guesthouse with a traditional vibe”

The dorm and living room have tatami mats giving it a traditional feel. The area around is safe and it is close to the station and many restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly. Clean showers and toilets. The bunk bed was comfortable and had a storage box and a small tray to place items. The bag storage is thin and it might be difficult to hold bulky suitcases. It was more than enough for my backpack and misc items. The kitchen area is small but considering the number of people there I would say it is sufficient. The guesthouse had a homely feel to it and I would definitely recommend it for solo female travelers.

Feels like home”

Nice guesthouse, friendly owner n the guests eventhough can speak english little bit but they try to communicate n friendly... Actually we can reached this guesthouse because Mr Kamino san helped us due to we came late at night around 9 pm as our trains from Hakone stucked 1,5 hours due to accident matter.

Staying in Grape house is just like being at home, I will definitely go again when visiting Tokyo!”

I'm really happy to stay in Grape house for 4 nights. At first I booked three nights and at last day I decided to stay there one more day. The hosts are friendly and nice, if you have time and chances, you can stay at the commun area to chat with them and also other travellers. Also and check and read Tokyo traveling information from the bookshelves. Using nicely with the kitchen, having nice coffee or tea at dining table... Grape House manage the place very well, highly recommend!! Thank you so much for giving me a great time. And I totally in love with Koenji. A great place that is different from staying in the center of Tokyo city. To discover artistic activities and staffs, weekend markets, good coffee, ramen restaurants, second hand shops, relaxing parks and if you love night drinks, it's a good choice ( I love coffee but I also found Koenji is a good place for night time hang out). Try to discover Koenji next time, you won't be regreted!

I spent 3 days for my solo trip on last March. Kind and friendly owner, clean room, nice and quite place, only take about 10 minutes by foot from Koenji station. I will back and suggest my family or friends to stay at this wonderful homestay.

Excellent place to stay”

I stayed one night at Grape house Koenji. This is a small, comfortable hostel. The staff were very friendly and facilities clean and easy to use. The location is a little way out of Tokyo but it is not difficult to find. I would stay there again.

Great Hostel!”

I had a great stay at GrapeHouse! I stayed in the dorm-style room, which had really cozy bunks with curtains for privacy. There is a shared kitchen with free coffee&tea, fridge space for guests, and plenty of dishes and pots to use. The common area is really cute and has many maps and books on where to go/what to do in Tokyo, as well as a computer for guests to use, and a television. All of the other guests were very quiet and respectful, and the owners were very friendly. My Japanese is very limited, but they were able to communicate with me in English, which is very nice of them. The hostel is located in Koenji, a short walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, many secondhand clothing shops (which are right up my alley!), convenience stores, and the train station. There is plenty to do right in the neighborhood. Thank you GrapeHouse!

Cute place”

Room had a strange smell when I entered. Kitchen is right outside, so it may have come from there but it lingered into the second day as well. After a while, I got used to the smell though. Otherwise, it is a nice place - very homey. No showering after midnight. Lights out at midnight. Decor of the common room is very nice - good aesthetics. The space in the bedroom is a little cramped if all beds are occupied. However, when I was there, there were up to about 4 other people in the room and it was not bad!

아주 깔끔하고 조용하다. 코엔지 역에서 십분정도 걸어야한다. 게스트 대부분이 현지인 혹은 일본어를 할 줄 아는 사람이로 일본어를 잘하는 사람이 가면 좋을 것 같다. 개인적으로 깔끔하고 예쁘고 침대도 편하고 좋았다. 호스트분이 아주 친절하셨고, 추울까 편의를 봐주시는 것도 좋았다. 신주쿠역에서 급행타면 2정거장이면 갈 수 있다. 혼자 여행하시는 분들은 매우 추천한다.

조용하고 깨끗한 게스트 하우스”

신주쿠역과 20분 정도 떨어져 있다. 역에서 숙소까지 도보 10분 가량 걸린다. 그러나 바로 근처에 편의점을 이용할 수 있고 고엔지역 상점가를 구경할 수 있다. 고엔지역은 현지인이 많으며 거의 외국인을 찾아볼 수 없다. 게스트하우스 이용자도 일본인이 많다. 숙소는 매우 조용하고 안전하고 깨끗하며 편리하다. 조용한 게스트 하우스를 원한다면 추천. 그러나 다른 게스트들과 소통하는 것을 원한다면 추천하지 않는다.

口コミの評価がやけによく、女性専用だったので、ここを選びました。場所も、仕事場所に近かったし。とはいえ、駅からは10分程歩くので、少し不便かなと思い、最後まで悩みました。そこで、実際宿泊してみると、まず、高円寺駅から、ゲストハウスまで歩く間に、いろんな安めの食堂が多く、ご飯食べるのに困らない。ゲストハウスは、さすがの高評価通り、きれいだし、女性が最高で15人位？なので、静かで、過ごしやすい。かわいいワンちゃんもいて、落ち着いてて、店主さんも優しくて。また、この近くで仕事が有ったら、ここを使いたいです。

くつろげる宿”

リビングがイスと畳の両方があり、好みで居られるのが良かったです。 ドミのベッドは木製の2段のカプセル的な感じだったが、よくあるようなギシギシという音も全くなく、ライト、コンセント、ハンガー2本にタオルを干せるバーや、セキュリティボックスまであって、低反発マットで寝心地も良く、文句なし。 真っ白でフワフワのかわいいワンちゃんがお出迎えしてくれて癒されるけど、犬嫌いな人でも予め言っておけば、出さないように配慮してくださると思います。 私は食べてませんが、1階には食材にこだわった体に良さそうな食事を出すカフェがあり、宿泊者は100円引きになるみたいです。 いい感じに放っておいてくれるので、自由に過ごせます。 駅までの間にいろんなお店がいっぱいあるので、食べたり散策には困らないです。 居心地が良かったので、また泊まりたいです。
