Stayed for 3 nights. Everything you need. Washing machine, hair dryer, comfortable bed, smoking area outside in nice seating area. Lots of transportation and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended! Great value. Very clean. Very new. You can see here how Japanese can make a small space very efficient for everything. Will come back here once time allows.

Clean and close to station”
Clean, and close to Chou and yamatoe station. More a unit than a hotel equipped with own washing machine, sink and microwave. Above average room space for japan standard though ceiling is abit low in some areas. Located in Korea town. Have to check in at other property-finding property at night in a dark alleyway can be quite hard from the main street but it’s almost at the end of the alleyway.

More like an apartment”
Simple but functional annex of the Empire hotel (where you pick up the key and check in - plus a 10,000 yen deposit- it’s a well designed compact apartment on a narrow, quiet side street in the Little Korea area. Lots of basic amenities plus washing machine and microwave. Needs a little more space for simply laying out things.

A taste of Japanese urban living”
If you would like to see how it’s like to stay at a small but fully equipped Japanese apartment, then this place is for you. Located in the quiet side just a few minutes away from either Shin-okubo JR station or Okubo Station, the hotel is convenient base to explore the sights of Shinjuku, Ikebukuro or the Korean town itself. Note that guests would need to check in at the “mother” hotel, Empire Hotel in Shinjuku that s located around the same block closer to the Shin-Okubo station. The staff are nice and guests can leave their luggage there before check in or after check out. Another important thing to note is the 10,000¥ deposit that they will ask as security for appliances and amenities provided in the serviced apartments. Unfortunately, we were not aware of this detail before checking in so it came as shock. However, it’s easy to understand how some people might be tempted to take home stuff with them, so this requirement serves as an effective deterrent to that.

Great location, clean room, but I was a little taken aback by the fact they wanted me to cough up a $10000 yen cash deposit or hold on to my passport. I told them I would be happy to provide a credit card for incidentals, but I wouldn't provide cash or my passport. They eventually relented but only after I requested a complete cancellation of my reservation.

Pros: Location was good. Close to public transportation and stores. Room was clean. Cons: Everything else. Beware the building to check-in is at a different hotel, on a different street. I exchanged emails with them beforehand twice but they didn't notify us about it. Very difficult esp since it was raining and we didn't' have a car there. Hotel charges $10 per hour if you check in before 4pm or if you check out after 11am. They require $100 cash deposit. They have a price list in the room of items that are damaged or lost. They don't seem to understand things don't last forever like blow dryer. We didn't use anything except for basic necessity just in case. They said they will charge guests if you left too much trash. I wish I can post all the pictures here but I can't. Price in yen: Hair dryer 5k , 1 hanger 500, pillow 5k, mirror 10k (WTH), blanket 10k, remote control 3k, cleaning fee 50k, bed runner 10k, tv 40k, refrigerator 20, smoking in room 15k. Stay away from this place!!!!!!

ハエが大量にいた There were a lot of flies”
ハエを20匹程度やっつけました。かべやカーテンにはハエがつぶれたと思われる跡が無数にあり、大変気持ち悪かったです。 あと、部屋が全体的に下水くさかったです。 I beat about 20 flies. There were countless marks on the walls and curtains that seemed to have crushed flies, which made me very uncomfortable. Also, the room was totally sewage.

性價比高，是那種小的個人公寓型的。 要先去隔壁那條街的酒店checkin 朋友再來也會推薦！ 但是180以上的一定要慎重！ 就是最近新大久保站一直在裝修，箱子只能自己走樓梯提下來～推薦坐到大久保站，南口出來超級近！

일본여행을 10회정도했지만, 가장 저렴하고도 가장 좋은위치, 가장 깨끗한 환경이었습니다. 원하면 매일 청소도 해주시고... 여튼 무조건 다시가고싶어요. 후기가 없어 걱정했는데... 앞으로도 나만 알고싶은 숙소입니다.

1박을 급으로 해야했는데 남아있는 호텔 중 가격이 저렴해서 갔어요.ㅎㅎ 카운터에 한국 직원분들 친절하시고 편했는데 로비가 작아서 대기 인원이랑 짐이 많더라구요ㅎ 제가 갔을때는 체크인체크아웃 갑자기 몰리고 비까지와서 사람이 진짜 많았어요ㅠㅠ 방음은 잘 안되는거 같아요. 낮 오후 저녁에는 호텔에 안있고 나가서 놀 예정이라 가성비 중요하신 분들에게 추천드립니당 ㅋㅋㅋ

위치는 신오쿠보역에서 가까웠습니다. 도보 3-5분거리 방크기는 트윈룸이었는데 침대 두개가 딱 붙어있는 크기였구요 욕실이랑 공간이 너무 협소했구요... 가방 둘 곳을 찾을 수 없을만큼 좁았습니다. 청결상태는 비교적 깨끗한 편이었습니다. 가격은 주말가격이라 그런지 가격대비 만족도는 낮습니다... 2층 방은 계단을 이용해야 해서 무거운 캐리어 들고 오르내리기 무지 힘들었습니다

일단 무엇보다 직원분들 모두 한국인이 다 되어서 너무 편했습니다 ^^ 방도 깔끔하고 청소도 잘 해주셨어요 ^^ 단 본관까지 이동해야 카운터가 있는건 조금 불편했네요.....

部屋も綺麗で設備も整っているし新大久保からも近いので便利です！ベッドがふかふかで最高でした♪ パジャマだけないので用意が必要です。 また新宿に来た際は利用させてもらいたいです！

虫と臭いが気になる”
初日、お部屋を間違ったとのことで 2階から1階へ移動しました。 下水臭く、小さな虫もたくさんでした。 洗濯機はあるもののお外に干したり 乾燥が出来ず、結局コインランドリーへ。 壁が薄いので隣の声が聞こえてきます。 1人だといいかもしれません。 スタッフさんはとても親切で、 駅近でもあるのでアクセスはいいですね！
