Small but lovely”
Hotel Hillarys is a beautiful spot in the middle of a vibrant part of town! So close to transit and a ton of cool restaurant options! Convenience stores everywhere too. The room (we had a superior double) was so tiny, but still packed with amenities. The size is fine for a short stay but would have been harder for more than 1-2 nights. We were able to fit our small suitcase, a backpack, a travel stroller tucked under the desk, and a small portable crib for our son (the Guava Lotus), but that’s it. Breakfast was very Japanese and delicious. Didn’t try out the spa, because I’m a self-conscious American, but I wanted to! The staff was very friendly. Overall a great experience for a low price!

Great Location ”
Lovely Hotel in a great location. Transport links close by that enabled us to get around Tokyo easily. We opted for the deluxe double room which was spacious enough for us for a 5 night stay. I think the smaller room would have been a squeeze. Rooms were modern and very clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

the interior was a huge supersize!! the wooden style interior and the cleanness of the room was great! the location was the best so far in Tokyo, not just convenient (subway station, shops, convenience stores are near by), it was very quite and comfortable compare to Shibuya, Shinjuku etc. I would definitely come back again next time when I visit Tokyo! Thanks!

Beautifully designed hotel”
Super friendly international staff, and so much attention to detail with the interior design features, such as the clever us of mirrors and lighting in the rooms, or the real wooden stools and water bowls in the hot-spring. The hotel is surrounded by great bars and restaurants and is just a 20 minute walk to Roppongi. Will definitely be staying here again next time I visit Tokyo.

Easy hotel to access. Clean rooms, very comfortable bed. Friendly english speaking staff. Location is great for business travelers.

Our room was small as expected in Tokyo but well organized and aesthetically pleasing. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. There is 24hr free coffee downstairs and bottles water (though it's fine to drink off the tap in Tokyo as well, sometimes there is a chlorine taste to the tap water) . It is next to 3 subway stations very close by and easy connections to all the main areas of Tokyo as well as shinkansen and other inter City trains. The area (Akasaka) is a very nice place to walk around and is full of nice restuarants, izilayas and clubs. Hei shrine is 2 mins away and provision stores conveniently located

Hotel Felice is in a great area, with tons of restaurants around - because it's in a bigger area most of the staff in the restaurants are able to speak english. It was great to come back to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing, rest, then grab dinner right downstairs. The hotel is clean, the room a bit smaller than expected but it served us well for the 6 nights that we stayed. It wasn't noisy at all, even though it's located in a busy area of the city. The facilities are great, there is coin laundry on site as well as a hot spa (Japanese style sento/onsen) that was lovely. Again, smaller than expected, but it was so nice to come home and soak in a hot bath after the day. I would definitely stay here again!

This is the best accommodation for it's value in Akasaka area I think. There is a hot spring and the breakfast is an additional 1,200 but is so good and healthy. My boyfriend also loves this place.

Rooms are small and basic. Bed, desk, tv and bathroom but done up in nice modern style and feel new. Clean and quiet. Location in bit of entertainment district, easy access to subways.

Clean and new hotel in convenient neighbourhood”
Hotel room was clean and new. Although bit small, but comparable to most hotels in this range in Tokyo. The neighbourhood was peaceful but convenient. Just a few stops away from Shinjuku, it was away from the chaos and hustle, but meant that getting to Shinjuku was quite quick. Restaurants, drinking places, and convenient stores were located just downstairs. Enjoyed my stay, would come back.

Room is clean. There is no storage or luggage racks. All the amenities one needs. Window does not open, is partially blacked out and view to the wall of a building. I cannot tell if it was night or day in the room. The lighting of the room is a huge plus. Comfortable bed and clean. Wouldn't book for a long period to relax at the hotel.

I don't find the room layout reasonable practical and convenient for a comfortable stay. Sound proofing is bad as we can easily hear other guests talking. Cleaners are not really up to standard. But the reception desk staff are very professional and nice to deal with.

The worst hotel I been so far. High price and try to charge for everything. Don’t try to accommodate”
The hotel rooms are small and I paid extra for a deluxe room and still cant hardly move around without running into things. The sink is in the room and not in the bathroom. The worst part is they placed the tv next to the sink and my girlfriend hit the tv a few times while using the sink to brush her teeth. The bathroom was small as well and when you sit on the toilet your head hit the door. Call to front desk for a bag hold for one hour and was told a 2000 yen charge. The hotel is expensive and not worth the money. Was uncomfortable and the location was poor. There is a window but you can’t even see out of it. I wouldn’t recommend even to my worst enemy. It’s that bad. You have been warned.
