זוהי הפעם השניה שאני שוהה במלון . המחיר הבסיסי מעט גבוה אולם במבצעים המחיר סביר ביחס לתמורה . המיקום מעולה הן מבחינת מגוון החנויות והמסעדות ובעיקר תחנת איקבוקורו הענקית הקרבה למלון . בסיכום מאוד מומלץ

מלון נפלא מיקום מצויין”
המלון ממוקם ברובע ikebukuro רובע מסחרי חדש יחסית בטוקיו. ממש 2 דקות הליכה מתחנת המטרו הנושאת את שם הרובע. המלון הוא מפואר ומאוד מרווח במושגים יפניים, החדר שקיבלנו היה ממש גדול ומרווח ומאובזר היטב, אינטרנט בחדר, מיטה ענקית ונוחה מאוד, מקלחת ואמבטיה גדולה, וארון גדול לאכסן את הקניות. מסעדת המלון בה מוגשת ארוחת הבוקר הלא זולה במיוחד היא נהדרת ויש בה מגוון רחב מערבי יפני ומזרחי. המלון מומלץ מאוד.

Great Hotel and Location”
Had a very good 1 week stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable with good temperature control and lots of complimentary amenities like water and a bar fridge. The room itself was pretty small but this is definitely the norm for Tokyo. The surrounding area itself is very convenient since Ikebukuro station is just down the street and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby. Plenty of shopping opportunities as well if you don't feel like straying too far from home base with the Tobu mall attached to the station plus access to Don Quijote, Muji and plenty of food options if you take the Seibu exit from Ikebukuro station. Lastly, the staff here are extremely courteous and professional. Highly recommend this hotel, looking forward to staying here again for any future trips!

Location is excellent”
This hotel is near to Ikebukuro JR station. It at the west side of JR. We stay this hotel because it near to bus stop which also located at west side of station and just few minutes walk away. We took the bus to Disneysea early in the morning. Ikebukuro is sort of manga and anime area which we love it. Restaurant is easy to find. Ikebukuro area also have BIC camera which you can buy a lot of free duty items. Hotel looks very grand and their hotel room is clean and comfortable. Nearby also have Tobu and Parco which you can shop till you drop.

Excellent Hotel”
The location is awesome. It is within walking distance to Ikebukuro Subway Station. There are plenty of good beef bowl & Ramen stalls, shopping centres and pharmacy stores in the vicinity. The hotel staff is friendly and polite. They help to arrange for taxi for us from the Hotel to Haneda Airport on the day of our departure. The hotel room is spacious for 3 persons. The view from #22 is awesome. The amenities are great ~ safe deposit box, hair dryer, mini fridge, bath salt and facial lotion were provided. The lobby ambience and the corridor leading to our rooms were cosy and nice! Their Drip / UCC coffee was interesting. Unfortunately, the TV programmes were not so interesting as mostly were in Japanese. We watched the BBC news usually. We will definitely consider booking this Hotel room again when we return to Ikebukuro in the future.

My favourite Tokyo Hotel”
I've stayed here 3 times now. It may not be the cheapest but i love this hotel for many reasons. Location is the best with many lines at Ikebukuro. Also the Airport Limousine to both Narita and Haneda stop outside this hotel. The room sizes are amazing for Japan standards. The bathroom is great too. I love that they have English channels on their TV's. Many hotels do not. Breakfast (when I've had it) is good. Lots to choose from. But there are many bakeries and convenience stores nearby to buy breakfast from which is what i tend to do. I think i will stay here every time i come to Tokyo in the future.

Excellent Location, Comfy Hotel”
I love Hotel Metropolitan Ikebukuro because : (1) It is spacious for 3 persons (2) The view from #22 is good (3) The room's amenities are good. It provides Bath Salt for the Bathtub; mini-set facial care products (Decorte AQ); hair dryer is powerful; it comes with bath, face and hand towels; I love the UCC (drip) coffee. (4) It is within walking distance to Ikebukuro Station. It has many shopping centres such as Seibu, Tobu, Lumine, Metropolitan Plaza, Sunshine City, (5) It is near to "Wudi Ramen Outlet", Bic Camera, Don Don Donki (24 hours), and many more (6) Staff speaks good English. They are polite and help to call taxi for us to go to the Haneda International Airport. Will definitely stay in Hotel Metropolitan Ikebukuro when I return in the future.

Excellent service and location”
I travelled with my family and mother who uses a wheelchair. The hotel has excellent wheelchair facilities (ramps etc). It is easy to wheel my mother from the hotel to Ikebukero train station. Before the trip, I asked the hotel many questions, the staff replied with very detailed step-by-step instructions. Staff is very helpful with restaurant reservations (please note that most restaurants in Japan require Japanese-speaking reservations). Highly recommend this hotel. We will stay at this hotel again if we visit Tokyo in future.

Great location!”
Great location! Minutes walk to ikebukuro many train lines. Few stops away to Shinjuku/Harajuku/Shibuya There is a morning bread shop opposite, a 24hr family mart and a supermarket down the road. Ikebukuro offers tonnes of food options and shopping is a plenty too! Room size ok Clean Deco dated but is still comfortable

Recommended for families and first time travelers”
Very Good location. Few meters to train station. Many restaurants and souvenir shops around. Excellent environment for families.Very good hotel service. Very accomodating staff. We came an hour ahead of scheduled check-in but they are very kind to let us use the room free of charge. Very convenient hotel to stay especially for first time travelers getting to and from Narita Airport via limousine bus. We will surely book this hotel again. Highly recommended.

This is the second time i stayed here. Staff when i checked in with is excellent! She could speak English fluently and had a serviced mind. Housekeepings had done their job very well. My room 1328 was very cleaned. Location is very close to Ikebukuro station.

Large, comfortable, well-equipped hotel with a great selection of restaurants”
Located a few minutes from Ikebukuro station and close to many large shops and outlets. The rooms are larger than those in more modern hotels. A great selection of western and japanese restaurants, some quite pricey. Overall, thoroughly recommended.

I stayed here twice already. Love the location and the hotel service. However, please be aware that you are allowed to get into your room at 3 pm and check out at noon. There's convenient stores and bakery shop nearby or you can visit the 8th floor at Lumine/Tobu for various selection of restaurants to choose. within walking distance.

Amazing Hotel, Friendly Staff and Excellent Location!”
This hotel checks so many must-have points on our list: #1 Airport transfer limousine (right to the front door) #2 option to have 3 separate beds #3 Easy convenient access to Subway (2-3 min walk) #4 Great restaurants (I can only attest for the Dinner Buffet style on the first floor which is to die for amist being however on the pricey side. The reception kindly gave us a 20% discount coupon for hotel guests adults (kids is roughly half price). #5 The hotel has a pool! I was looking forward swimming with my kid, sadly they only allow kids 14 and up. Be aware that you have to pay a fee to access it. #6 Cleanliness nothing to complain here #7 In-room Safe... no need to carry the tablet around or other valuables saving space and weight in my backpack! It won't fit easily in but after fiddling it will and can, trust me. #8 Location: walking distance to major shopping centers (Tobu and Seibu, if you're willing to walk a little more Sunshine City). A big thank you for the Late Checkout!

Strategic location ”
Very strategic location near to ikebukuro subway station and you can get a bus directly from hotel to airport without worried about the transportation problem. Tobu, Lumine, Seibu & Parco department store is just nearby the hotel. Trust me you won’t be hungry here because plenty of foods to choose for. Definitely will stay here again.

Old-fashioned but nice and professional”
Nothing to complain really: Access is very convenient and the limousine bus stopping right at the door is a big plus. Hotel room has a great view, is small but is well-equipped, although it’s strange that the hotel has a policy not to replace used glasses/cups if the leftover contents stay there, and not to clean the shelves above the fridge even when they are dirty (after use)? Staff is very friendly and helpful. Professional services. Hotel’s decor is old-fashioned. But I can live with that.

Located just across from Lumine Ikebukuro which connects to the station. Plenty of food options and conbinis nearby. Friendly and helpful staff and they provide a local phone for each room which comes with free data and calls.
