Large room, new, clean, good distance. Thought it was going to be old but everything in there is new and modern. Close to station. Lots of food. Big surprise!!! Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect!”
A pleasant surprise once we found the hotel. Exterior is not the same in the pictures. Rooms have been renovated, all modern and tidy with modern bathroom. Short walk from Ueno station and subway. Hotel website has detailed directions for easy find. Quiet neighborhood. Owner is very kind and friendly. Will definitely be back!

The location is the best! You can just walk 5mins from main JR ueno station. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly :-)

location is good, Exit 2 or exit 3 from Ueno train stn. near to JR line & Keisei ueno stn and Ameya-Yokochō. you can take Keisei Access to/ From Narita airport around 1240 yen. one bad thing is no elevator which u need to carry your luggage...... :|

Good for backpackers”
We enjoyed our stay there. There were no lift/elevator, luckily, our room was just on the second floor so it's not that hard to bring our luggage in our room. If you'll just stay at the hotel at night, then this is right for you

Great lacation, just behind the Ueno station only walk for 5 min.”
At first it's quite hard to find but the second time is no problem. The front man is very nice. The room is confortable enough and value the price :)

Family Friendly in best location”
We are travelling with a 2-year-old boy and this hotel was family-friendly. The staff were so nice. The room was spacy our kid can play in the room. We had the room with low bed (more like thick futon on the floor) which was safe for kids he can climb up and down himself. The hotel was also within walk from station, minimart and shopping street. There are also a park with playground nearby.

Clean room. Not much spacious but it's not a problem. 5 minutes walk to Ueno station. Very convenient.

Budget hotel”
It’s budget hotel. Old but clean enough. Quite small but it’ okay just to sleep and shower. Facilities is covered all you need. Location is good. The owner and all staffs was nice.

Nice and affordable hotel”
Nice Price, and just few minutes (~7 minutes) walks to Ueno Station and additional few minutes to Ueno Park. Nearby ( ~ 1-2 minute walk) have 7-11. Very friendly staffs.

Nice and cozy”
Best location with just few minutes walk from JR station, Lawson, 7-11 and Ameyoko walks. The room were a lot wider than average hotels in Tokyo. The staff were super helpful. We stay here for 3 nights, left for Kawaguchiko and came back for another 1 night and we can leave our luggage at the hotel. When we arrived the lughage even waiting for us in our room! one small trouble is that this hotel has no elevator and third floor with large luggage is a bit trouble.

Worth the price for location”
It’s an old hotel with no elevators and the facilities clearly need some renovation (though they are already in the process of renovating the upper floors). But the hotel is in a very good location, around 3-5 min walk from Ueno station and they clean/replace towels everyday. Also, they allow you to have your package delivered to the hotel so i was able to receive several packages with no hassle at all.

Convenient as closer to train station and 24 hrs store”
Not easier to find the hotel as it is hiding behind the street. Walking way and staircase are very narrow but it is fine for budget hotel. The room is consider big enough. Quite silent during night time.

Nice & new hotel near Ueno station”
Hotel located in small alley with red brick building. Hotel don't have elevator. Staff are nice. They allow to left the bag before check-in time and they carry the bag to your room.

Ueno best accommodation to stay!”
Recommended to stay, near to train station and shopping area. Not a big room but ok to stay with bathroom inside. Friendly staff and very helpful.

We stay in this hotel for 8 nights. Overall it was a nice stay. The location is great as it located near Ueno station and just across the road to famous Ameyoko market. Staff is friendly despite some of them unable to communicate in English. Recommend for budget tourist.
