Amazing deal! ”
We were really happy about our stay in Karaksa Hotel Grande. Location is just 5 mins away from the Shin-Osaka Metro (where JR -Shinkasen transfers are also located). We didn't expect it would be that cold when we arrived in Osaka so we appreciate the hotel's effort in providing guests with Free Body Warmers everyday. The hotel is also very clean (white clean sheets; no weird smells). I also like that they asked guests to choose if they would like the eco-stay option or the standard stay. Choosing the eco-stay will get you 1 coin/day = free drink at their vending machine. But more than the free drink, we appreciate their efforts to save the environment & involving guests in making this conscious choice too. Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Osaka again.

Good location, value for money ”
Location is good, walking distance from Shin-Osaka station. Just be sure to come out at the correct exit from the train station. There's a lounge that provides a wide variety of drinks, and guests can also eat at this lounge. So if you buy a bento or food from family mart / supermarket, you can eat them at the lounge instead of in your room. There's an ECO option for the cleaning of the room, which means they wont change your bed sheets on a daily basis etc. We took this option and were provided with coins to exchange for drinks at the vending machine. The milk is delicious.

Karaksa - A Hidden Gem”
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Karaksa Hotel Grande. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very welcoming. Whenever we had questions, even if the staff was not the most fluent in English, they tried their best to accommodate us. Although the room I chose for my boys and I was small, it was just what we needed because we were out of the room more than we were in our room. Every evening when we would return from our excursions, we had fresh linens, new pajamas and new masks for the day. Additionally, I would recommend the breakfast package. There was a multitude of foods to choose from even for your pickiest eaters. The food ranged from Asian cuisine to western staples. The location was ideal. Our walk to the Shin-Osaka Metro Station was less than five minutes. We were able to travel to Kyoto, Nara, Universal City in no time. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling.

The best for the value”
This hotel was very close to Shin-Osaka station and very convenient. I choose this hotel to stay with our teenage sons just for two days, but if I needed to stay longer I would. I am Japanese so I have high expectations for hotels here but our stay was even more excellent than I expected. The hotel offers everything you need, comfortable stay and very clean. I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay close to Shin Osaka. Thank you for your hospitality!!

This is a new hotel (opened Nov 2019) and it was great. The room size was good and not as small as we feared. Everything was clean and new. Staff was professional and helpful. Note that we were staying at Karaksa at the time the coronavirus was in all of the News stories and the hotel gave out free face masks to its registered guests. Location was a short 5 min walk to the Shin Osaka station. Karaksa was therefore a good base for our trips out to Kyoto and the rest of Osaka.

A brand new hotel with a beautiful view”
The hotel is situated very close to Shin Osaka station which is a quiet part of Osaka. The train ride to Namba (close to Dotombori )is about 20 minutes which is not bad. We also found a ramen place close by which was a bonus. The view from our room on the 21 floor was beautiful and the room very clean. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

love the location, about 7min children walking pace from exit 4 shin osaka station; lawson at GF, laundry with only Y500 available at 4th fl; love the hotel-made tea in a bag served at breakfast, its a pity they dont allow me to buy it; very clean room, unique connecting room layout, suitable for family traveler; friendly staff; love the food served at breakfast; love the welcome kit, really makes you feel noticed; if there is anything left to suggest maybe they can isolate the smoking room more at least away from the laundry location; the rest, it is PERFECT

My friend and I really loved this hotel! Everything was new and clean and the rooms were well thought out with all the conveniences a traveler would need. We especially appreciated the close location to Shin-Osaka station, which is a 5 min stroll from the hotel. There’s also public baths if you’re looking to have that unique Japanese experience.

The room was bigger than the usual rooms you get in Japan. So comfortable, neat and clean. There was even a washing machine + dryer in the room! Toilet bowl was separate from the shower, which was great. The onsen was also fantastic. Just a short 5 min walk from Shin-Osaka station, very convenient. Will stay here again when I am back in Osaka 😄

Perfect Stay!”
Surprised by how spacious the family room with 4x twin bed. Easy walk from the Shin JR Station to the hotel. The room is equipped with a Washer and dryer combo machine. Guests welcome drinks (sodas and coffee) is available from 2pm - 10pm at 3rd floor. Very quiet neighborhoods, a few restaurants and a family mart is near by. Plenty of food options at the Shin JR Station. After a long day walk, take a nice shower in the roomy bathroom. You will feel so relax in their comfy beds. We highly recommend this hotel.

Room was excellent. Service was wonderful. I came early and was able to take care of everything, they kept my bags and I was off to explore. I came back later that night and checked in which was simple and fast and by bags were waiting for me in the room. The location is great! Real easy to get anywhere is Osaka! Hot springs are relaxing and the breakfast is nice. I will definitely come here again and maybe try the one in Tokyo. Thanks for making my stay enjoyable!

Complete set of amenities, pyjamas and even a humidifier was provided. There's a public bath, laundry room and smoking room within the building. Very comfortable stay and Shin-Osaka station is just a short walk away. Staff speaks fluent English and very warm and helpful,

I found Karaksa the best choice hotel for location that is near to Shin Osaka which has JR, Metro and Shinkansen and lots of restaurants. It took abt 5-8 min to walk to station. Staff are helpful and very nice. They delivered our luggage to the room already when we got back to the hotel at 9pm in the first night. The room has everything even more than we expected - a small sofa, a bath tub, pajamas (compared to what we heard about hotels in Japan). Beds are comfy two pillows (hard and soft). Shower was strong and we can put two (one big and one small) luggages in the room. Lawson downstair- u dont need to go out of the building and public bath which is very clean and not crowded. Room is also clean. The building is new and well designed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Fyi that I had two beds standard room.

The location is just a short walk (roughly 5 mins) from the Shin-Osaka station. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the lodging is very clean! There’s also a Lawson within the same building for those wanting to get a midnight snack without leaving the premise.

As the name implies, this hotel is strategically located near Shin-Osaka Station which makes it easy for us to travel. The rate offered is quite affordable, considering the cherry blossom period which should tend to be more expensive. We got a fair price when taking into account all the facilities they have, starting from a comfortable room, an amazing level of cleanliness, a great location, that leads to customer satisfaction. What's more special, we even got a free upgrade to a panoramic room on the second day, because there was an issue in the bathroom in the previous room. We are very grateful for the help given by the staff on duty during our stay. Finally, we highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Osaka next time.

Easy accessibility, just 5 min walk, to shin-osaka station for both JR line and Osaka metro. Room was well maintained and clean. Towels and PJs were replaced daily. Water was replenished daily as well. Useful to have microwave oven and washer in the family room.

This hotel is about 5-8mins walk from the train station. Check in can only be done after 3pm however you can stow your luggage with the reception and they will bring your bags to your room once the room is ready. If you opt for the eco cleaning you’ll get eco coins where you can exchange for a drink! There’s also a public bath in the hotel where you can use. Lawson is at first floor of the hotel. Room is spacious and well equipped with amenities. From the train station you can easily get to Kyoto in less than an hour and it only cost you 570yen. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, walking distance to JR ShinOsaka. Lawson convenience store nearby. Impressive eco sustainability standards (you take only what you need in the entrance). Me (mom) and 2 children aged 9 and 6 loved the public bath. Staff was helpful too. Free umbrellas since it was raining. Will come back.
