Exceptional”
Location: a 10 min walk from the JR station. They provided shuttle bus but we walk to the reception building without any troubles. Very close to ski resorts (they have West, East ski resorts so it doesnt matter which one you stayed at). Very close to the outlet where you can stock up on ski wears very very cheaply before going onto the slope. Accommodation: We stayed in a wooden cottage alone the slope, there are trees and snow surrounding us. The cottages are separated from each other so you have a high degree of privacy and no noise problem from other visitors. The hotel provides on-call shuttles to transport you from the cottage to the main reception building. There are some cottages very close to the ski lift and ski areas where you can literally just go out and ski immediately. Really spacious and clean cottage (for 6 people). Ski facilities: Very convenient, with many rentals and ski schools to choose from. Staff: Very nice and polite staff, good English speaker at reception.

Strongly Recommend for Skiing Couples”
Surprisingly nice, convenient and comfortable to stay for two nights! First of all, it is not as old as some comments on the web. The room is quite spacious and pretty much have everything! Also the breakfast is amazing and staffs in the hotel do speak very well English! Really enjoy the two nights stay at this place.

Excellent wood cabin for a family trip”
We got a cabin for 8 beds. The place is very clean and nice. Heated floor is warm and nice in Winter. There is bus or shuttle available. We are all happy to stay in the cabin.

We booked a 4 bed cabin & they upgraded us to a 6 bed FOC. The cabins are warm & cosy and the free transportation around the hotel/ski resort is very helpful. There’s great food available at a number of places on site as well. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave!

Very good accommodation”
I booked from last minute deal and got a cottage for 4 peoples so it was very big for us. I walked around cottage in the morning that made me feel so fresh from surrounding trees. I think it was worth to pay for a cottage even it was quite a pricey. And one more lucky that every staff had a good take care of us.

Staying in a quiet cottage ”
I booked the cheapest plan for accommodation, non-designated room. Me and my wife checked in after 17:00, as the plan requires, and the reception assigned us to a cottage. The cottage is a two-bedroom one, which is very spacious for us. The smell of woods is very refreshing, although the cottage is very old. There is no wifi in the cottage. We stayed there for two nights, having good sleep as it was so quiet. The location can be tricky, because some cottages are farther from the outlet and the main hotel buildings. Ours are very close to the hot spring (which costs 2,000 yen for one-time use/person) and the east wing of the outlet. It is easy to walk across the outlet and get to the rail station and the town. We drove to the hotel and the on-site parking costs 1,000 yen per day for residents. I would recommend to take the train to Karuizawa and then rent a car from the hotel on a hourly basis. This is because the toll fees for the highway is very expensive.

The cottage is big and comfortable even in the winter day and the view is pleasant. The pick service can lease your tense from luggage dragging. Very impressive.

Great location and cozy cottage house”
We stayed at wooden cottage house for 2 nights. It was really relaxing trip for us. We took sinkansen from Tokyo station and reached Karuizawa station in 1 hour and 15mins. With walking distance of 3 min,, you will reach the shuttle bus station situated in the plaza mall. Shuttle bus services from plaza mall to hotel is every 30 min. From hotel to cottage house you will need to take another shuttle bus. Waiting time is around 15 mins. Prince west advantage is near to plaza mall but not near to ski resort. You will need to call a pick up service to go to ski resort. You may waste some times in transferring from place to place, but we are feeling ok about it since it is a relaxing trip, no rush.

Upon we arrived, we received a warm welcome from staff. They are nice and very helpful. I requested an iron by email before we arrived, and the counter staff did remember and delivered the iron to my cottage at night. The cottage is spacious, clean and tidy. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We stayed in the cottage type room and quite enjoyed it during our stay. It is just a walking distance to the outlet. Really appreciate the high quality and attitude of their service.

Cozy and natural environment”
Staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The room is super deluxe with 2 rooms and a living room, although I choose run of room type. Need to ride a golf cart to hotel room,

I fell in love with the cottage!!”
I got 2 bedrooms cottage and fell in love with the room a lot. Everything was good and very beautiful. The only disadvantage was it takes a long time from the lobby to to room and from the room back to the lobby (have to wait minimum 30 mins for the hotel shuttle)

Breathtakingly Beautiful”
I went with my four young kids. Cabin was clean and lovely. Entire place is beautiful. Location is just beside the train station. Can take the shuttle bus in. The only problem is going to the main ski area from the chalet. You'll need to call for a buggy pick up which is not always available, or wait for the shuttle to come over to your stop, which you don't really know when. Other than that, it's a wonderful place for shopping, food and snow-activities. I would definitely want to go back again.

Fun experience ”
Had a great time staying at the cottage located in the middle of the ski resort. The shuttle bus drivers who take you from one place to the other are all very courteous and accommodating. Perfect place for family to go skiing and shopping!
