I would stay here again and again”
I wish I could take that bathroom home with me. I loved every single detail about it. It is very well thought out, maximizes use of the limited space, and was immaculately clean. The biggest selling point of this hotel is that it is brand new. It looks, smells, and feels brand new. I can't rave enough about how far your money goes here. They have extra amenities like an in-house onsen and self-service washer/dryer (in addition to full-service laundry and dry cleaning). And you can even check the availability of these amenities from your room using the TV. I also loved that there was an air purifier/humidifier in the room. We were a little under the weather, and this helped us to get the rest we needed to be able to go out and about. The room is pretty small by international standards, but it's about what I expected for Japan. In terms of location, we were also extremely happy. There are 2 bus stops and a subway station a stone's throw away. Don't even think twice. Book this hotel!

Excellent Value for what you get!”
I booked the Comfort Double Room as a solo traveler. The room itself was clean and on the medium size. But the real plus was the bathroom. Has both a shower and a separate tub that's large enough for a good soak if you're around 5'8ish. You'll need to bend your knees a bit, but the tub is tall enough so that your knees will still be under. I didn't partake in the public bath offered. The place is quiet with about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station. They offer a full range of bathroom amenities. A FamilyMart is right around the corner. Their coin laundry machines are pretty advanced. They have electronic keylocks so once you start them, you enter in a code on the numpad so that other people can't mess with your clothes as they wash and dry in the same machine. You can also check on your TV if there are any vacant machines open or how long the current loads have left. Staff is super polite. I left very happy overall.

Everything's perfect”
This was the best hotel I ever stayed in in all my travels to Kyoto. It is close to the metro station. There are several bus stops nearby. Attractions are within walking distance. The front desk service was impeccable. They spoke English. They treated us very nice and were professional. The hotel lobby and our room were super clean. The beds as wells as the pillows were very comfortable. The room and the bathroom were spacious by Japanese standards. We liked the woodwork. We enjoyed the breakfast. There were many options to choose from. They used fresh ingredients.

Amazing hotel at a great location”
I stayed for three nights in Kyoto as a first-time tourist. This hotel was a fabulous choice. It is located north of Kyoto station, just one subway stop or a 15 minute walk. If you’re coming by Shinkansen I recommend taking the subway as it’s located right under the train station. From the hotel you can reach most tourist spots easily by either subway or bus. The hotel is a “business hotel” but they provide a lot for the money including the usual free toiletries, water, pyjamas (yeah!) high quality tea etc. USB charging ports are available and a separate charger is also in the room. The shower requires a PhD to operate and splashes you from the top, front or shower head. The toilet is Japanese style but that’s a separate topic... whenever I’m back in Kyoto I’ll stay in this hotel!

Outstanding hotel at convenient location”
This hotel is exceptional in terms of meticulous details and material used. Other than the room size, which is on the small side, everything else is perfect. It's a newer hotel with clean, crisp style. The material used far exceeds the three star rating. You will find pajamas, sleepers, complimentary water, air freshening machine, ice machine on every floor, and most surprising of all, down comforters, which you don't necessarily have today even in 5 star hotels. Great value for money.

Quiet and comfortable ”
Very decent hotel with reasonable price. Room is a bit small but cozy and contains everything in need. Location is convenient as it is very nearby the subway and convenient store like Familymart 7-11 and there is a 24-hour supermarket with around 10 minutes walk. and environment is quiet and you can have a walk with around 20 mins to Gion and the shopping malls in Kyoto. There is a big bathroom on ground floor and you can enjoy a bath there. Would love to stay there again for my next trip in Kyoto.

BEST HOTEL EVER”
This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. There are many food options around, we were able to walk to many place which was really convenient. Hotel facilities such as the onsen was really awesome. My stay here was Super comfortable. The room is a little small, but it was sparkling clean. Their front line, Housekeeping services were all tiptop. Definitely value for money. 100% will come back again.

Very friendly staff, good facilities and a very nice restaurant”
Staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, as well as very clean. Breakfast food is a modern take on dinner for breakfast, with few “traditional” options. The food was good and the dinner menu is extensive. The onsen is very clean and a good place to wind down after a long day.

Felt like a 7 star experience ”
New facility with many amenities. Every thing was sparkling clean and the hotel itself was beautiful including the room. We got the comfort twin and it was an enormous room by Japanese standards. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the front desk spoke English well. For the price, this place is beyond amazing. Would stay in over and over again.

Very accessible to the centeal part of Kyoto”
All the stuff especially receptionists were well-Trained ,and give my wife and me Spohisticated seevice with perfect hospofality.At the Lobby of the hotel,there is Newspapers.TravelMagazines,and guid book about museums. Furthere more,The view when enrer to the elavator hall,U can see the Japanese style garden.Really calm and comfortable hotel.You should stay and there 's no other choices!

Fantastic hotel. ”
Excellent hotel with everything you could want. Immaculately clean. staff that checked us in (girl with shoulder length hair) was excellent and very helpful with requests for eating recommendations etc. room was huge for japan standards. will recommend to friends . 6 7 min walk from nearest station and a few mins walk to busy streets.

Excellent stay. We booked the Smart Double Room. The room itself is small. There was hardly any room for my husband and I’s luggage but you can manage. Loved the smart design in the room - light switches next to your bed so you don’t have to get up to turn the light off. You can adjust the light behind your headboard. This served as a great night light with soft cozy ambient lighting that doesn’t disturb your sleep yet if you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom it’s not pitch black. The shower has all these knobs for different water setting and jet streams. Super clean room. Still smelled relatively new. There’s 2 sets of yukata that the hotel provides. This is for you to wear to their bathhouse (not to keep). Loved the bathhouse, and yes you have to remove all clothing. There’s a separate man vs. women. The location of the hotel is more in the commercial district, but it’s relatively close to the more happening place of downtown closer to Gion.

Value for money”
The hotel is very new and sparkling clean. The staff are friendly. Location is very near a subway station (Gojo station of the Karasuma subway line) and very near a bus stop. There are many nice eating places nearby and very convenient when going to the Kyoto Station. The only down side is that the breakfast menu never varied throughout our 6 night stay.

Clean and quaint”
The checkin process was smooth. Front desk staff super nice. There was nice clean and modern restaurant located on the first floor bit pricey for pizza. No tubs in room just shower but they have a big bath on 1st floor. I have tatoos so didnt try going. I used the laundry machines they had 1 load at ¥500 but same bin washes and dries clothes with ion, no need to purchase detergent or dryer sheets came out clean. Room had window but fogged and couldnt open seemed there was a building 2 feet away. Small and tidy with all kinds of amenities and a sitting area. All in all I liked the hotel and it was clean. I wish I was able to open the window and there was enough room for our two luggage. Location was ok, there was a Lawson on the block and a okonomiyaki place around the corner and Komida coffee shop accross the street. Also a bike rental place 2 blocks away.

Beautiful modern hotel with spacious room”
We stayed in a comfort double room for a few nights. Coming from Tokyo the space was amazing! The hotel and rooms were clearly new and it felt very modern compared to other hotels we stayed at. We didn’t make use of laundry or Onsen facilities, but I thought it was really clever to have the capacity of each available through the tv. We did have breakfast, which I’m not sure I’d recommended- the breakfast pizza was nice but a bit unusual, and generally the selection was nice but it was the same every day. The price of breakfast, particularly on the day was also quite pricey, and there are plenty of convenience stores and cafes in the area where you could get breakfast. The area is also good for restaurants in the evening. It’s a small walk/subway ride to Gion and the more lively areas of Kyoto but the hotel is also convenient for the train station, which is handy for day trips to Nara or Osaka. I would definitely stay here again, my favourite hotel of the trip.

New and Elegant”
I have stayed here for 3 nights at their King Double. The hotel is nicely located between 2 metro stations with 3-5 mins walk. The interior is elegantly "kyoto" and nicely finished with woody and bright tone. The room is big and clean, though the view is just a normal city one, I enjoyed it so much.

just 1 stop away from JR Kyoto station making it really accessible to travel to with luggage in tow. A little far from centre attractions like Gion, but train station is just nearby and we really liked the peace and serenity at the area. There are many food places and convenience stores at walking distance away. Room was cozy and clean.

Good location and room is clean”
The facilities are new and the room is clean. Good location, we can walk to the shopping area in 10 mins. Near the metro station for just 5 mins walk. It is convenience that we can take the bus or metro to go to anywhere in Kyoto.

Excellent”
The room was much bigger than the normal Japan sized room. There's room to walk around! There is a big TV, they provide complete amenities including facial wash, facial cream, razor, cotton buds, two types of slippers and sleeping clothes! The public bath is great. The buffet breakfast was very good as well. It's Japanese Western style food, with pizzas, quiche, salads, fruits, bread, cereal, Parma ham and smoothies. I was pleasantly surprised by everything in the hotel. I loved it.

Great Hotel”
This is a great hotel, very clean and spacious. My mum lost her cell phone in the cab and they helped us locate the cab and get her phone back. What incredible service! We would absolutely stay again.
