אנחנו לקחנו חדר גקוזי על המים היה מדהים .מקום יפה אוכל טוב .לדעתי מספיק 3 לילות יותר הופך להיות משהמם .עלות העברות משולם שם 310 דולר לזוג הלוך ושוב כשעה הפלגה.

היינו ונהנינו מהרגע הראשון ועד לאחרון! תמורה הרבה יותר ממלאה לכסף! מרגע הנחיתה במאלה מקבלים אותך יפה ויש העברה בסירה שלוקחת שעה בלבד, תשלום ההעברה נמוך יחסית. בהגעה לאי ולרזורט מטפלים בך בסבר פנים יפות וביעילות רבה. את המזוודות מביאים עבור האורחים לחדר. וילה על המים זה מדהים! תבקשו צד שקיעה, יש גם ריף קטן יפהפה סמוך למתחם של הוילות על המים. מומלץ לקחת חבילת הכל כלול, יש לדעת ששתי המסעדות לא כלולות בחבילה אבל במסעדות הבופה יש אוכל מצויין ומשתנה מידי יום ואין בעיה למצוא מה לאכול. בכל בר כולל בבריכות ובבופה יש מבחר עצום של משקאות וקוקטיילים חטיפים ואוכל, זה בחבילת הכל כלול. מים יש בכל מקום ומקבלים בחדר כל הזמן. יש פעמיים ביום שירות חדרים! מיני בר מעולה חינם בחבילת הכל כלול. ציוד שנורקל לא כלול, אבל פעמיים ביום מוציאים בחינם לשנורקלינג בריף הבית שזה עשר דקות בסירה, בריף יש גם צבים אם מחפשים טוב. בהכל כלול יש סיור שקיעה בסירה ולוקחים לראות דולפינים מומלץ ביותר. גיחה לאי הסמוך דיפושי, זה בזבוז זמן מוחלט כדאי לוותר. האי יפהפה ומסודר מעולה כולל הכל!

בסך הכל בסדר , כשמדברים על מוליבים אז מדברים על צלילות, שם זה היה חסר אין רייף במלון צריך להצטרף לשיט בשעות מסוימות בהנחה שיש מקום לשנוקלים ברייף הקרוב. אנחנו שהינו במלון אחר במולדיבים שנה לפני והיה מדהים מכל הבחינות. המלון יפה ונעים.

זו הייתה החופשה הכי טובה שיכולתי לבקש!! גם במקרה זה התמונות משקרות - אבל לטובה :) פשוט מקום מדהים !!! גן עדן אמיתי צוות אדיב שיענה על כל מבוקשכם וגם על מה שלא חשבתם שתוכלו לבקש מומלץ בחום!!!

Surpassed our expectations”

We had absolutely wonderful time at this resort. To begin with, the location and the island itself is simply perfect - it has plenty of white sand beaches all around the island, plenty of shade, beautiful, lush nature, abundance of corals to explore, but most importantly for me, the crystal blue waters stretched as far as the horizon. The good things is that the west and north side had waters deep enough to swim before the corals started, the east side has more reef starting sooner to the shore- perfect for snorkeling. There are soo many picturesque spots on the island, all kinds of swings and lonely palms trees, leaning into the ocean. I cannot express just how perfect this piece of a land is . Another point to discuss is the service- from inquiries about food alergies and prefferances, to going extra mile in making you feel comfortable. The service is working like a super smooth, well oiled machine- waters will notice you need assistance before you even turn to them, the hotel has an application where you can easily book excursions or see any changes/cancelations. I read some reviews from people, who had full board and felt being treated like less worthy customers, so I was a bit concerned, because we had FB too, but from the moment we came, we never felt treated any less. On the contrary, we were soo pleasantly surprised to find out that we got an upgrade from a garden room to a beach jacuzzi villa. We also got a compliment from the hotel in form of fruits and champagne because of our anniversary. The free covid test for people staying over 7 nights, was also a very good incentive. The catering had the best choice we have seen yet, tailored to vegetarians, vegans, meat eaters, everyone! The variety was great and the food quality was worth the extra plate. The only misuderstanding that happened was the 340USD transfer fee which we had paid in cash and then got charged again the other day. But we spoke to a receptionist and that was promptly resolved. Meeru Island Resort and Spa DEFINITELY didn't disappoint. I was very skeptical before going as it was so inexpensive comparatively to other resorts. In fact, the main reason I chose it was because of the price and because it only required a speedboat instead of a plane to get there and I only had a few days to spare. Upon arrival it seemed a little sketchy as the people at the Meeru station waved me off and told me to go wait in the restaurant and they would come find me. Don't be alarmed. They found me and we were off on the boat within an hour of me landing. The boat was a little rough as it had just rained and it was choppy and where I was sitting didn't have a window so I recommend you be one of the first passengers on the boat for choice of seat. After about an hour we pulled up to the island. We were greeted with traditional music by many workers on the island. Check in was VERY smooth as they came to us each individually and I was shortly taken to my room. (My bags were already there) I had on over water jacuzzi Villa in the 7oo's on the sunset side and it was GORGEOUS. Looks exactly like the pictures if not better. At night a light shines in the water and you can watch all the fish (and sharks) play. VERY COOL. The next day was my birthday and after going to breakfast, the room was made special for the day and decorated with flowers and palms. They really paid attention. At the spa that day I was given a gift (GET THE SPA TREATMENTS! Emi is THE BEST) and at dinner that night my table was decorated by my very new waiter Mahin (He was precious as he was still in training but very attentive and we became friends over our time there.) The pools and the view is gorgeous. The island is very walkable but you can also call for a buggy any time to transport you. The events in the evening were so fun, especially the traditions night. We had a 5 Nights and 6 day stay at Meeru Island Resort & SPA and our experience was simply out of the world. Our Properties [ We did a split stay ] 1. Beach Villa - Beach property 10-30 meters away from the beach 2. Jacuzzi Beach Villa - Beach property with an inhouse jacuzzi 10- 30 meters away from the beach 3. Jacuzzi water Villa – Overwater villa with jacuzzi and direct access to the water below ( Stairs ) – this is their flagship property and is very neatly done Note : All rooms come with beach towels in-case you want to take a dip in the beach water. Water villas come with 2 life jackets in-case you are not good at swimming but want to take a dip in the ocean below. ( This we believe was very thoughtful) Onboarding Process We had to visit the counter number 59 at the Male Airport where all the resort properties are there and the procedure was super smooth . The courteous staff guided us to the boat ( airconditioned) and it took about 50 mins to reach the property. The staff gave a warm musical welcome at the property upon arrival and completed our onboarding ( took about 15 mins ) and we were also given some cold hand towel and a welcome drink ( Ice Tea ) . Food at Meeru Island If you are on a full board plan , all the three major meals are covered in it. Breakfast ( 7 A.M to 9 A.M ) , Lunch ( 12 Noon to 2 P.M ) , Dinner ( 7 P.M to 9.PM ) . The main restaurant is called Malaan and its pretty spacious to accommodate a large number of guests. The spread across all three meals are very diverse and it lets you experience global cuisine. The quality of fruits , veggies and meat was very fresh and considering it’s a remote island they have done a very good job at it. There are some really scenic seating spots by the beach ( Day and Night ) . Night dining by the beach is very romantic. Beyond expectations”

Me and my wife went for our honeymoon to Meeru. Although one restaurant and one bar was closed (it is HUGE) due to a low number of guests, it was still one of the best experiences ever. Everything was just perfect. The staff at reception, housekeeping, the views, the hospitality. Its almost like they get hurt if they are not at your service a few minutes before you actually need them :D We had the All Inclusive Plus which I would recommend to get because of the value it offers. We also saw a lot of dolphins on the sunset cruise. My best experience was with the staff at Dhoni Bar, as I had the best times there every evening/night! The food was great and there was always something for all kinds of people and culinary preferences. The Jacuzzi was cleaned every other day, so were the bed linens. The rooms were cleaned spotless as if its my first day in there again. I cannot put into words how good they are with what they do. Would definitely want to go again and recommend to others!

Pros - 1) Service staff is usually very friendly and prompt (most of the time). 2) The entire resort is immaculately clean and organized. It's a beautiful resort and island, with a lot of snorkelling and scuba diving (S&S) spots nearby. 3) Plenty of activities and excursions, water sports, outdoor sports, and lots of kid-friendly activities. Cons - 1) Service is usually supreme, unless it comes to the on-island buggy transfers, had to wait between 25-30mins for their buggy as the island is either too big to walk or it's too hot to be out that long. 2) Food buffet spread is very diverse, but if you expect 5 star quality food and are not a fan of indian/maldivian food, you would be disappointed after the allure of buffet style food wares off in 2-3 days. In short their western, Mediterranean and dessert chef needs help. 3) Their bedding is known to give people with sensitive skin rashes, and if that doesn't get you make sure you use sunblock cause the biting sun will get you.
