Really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and cosy OMG the bed was really comfy my baby had a beautiful sleep... the pool was a hit with my baby and partner and the spas were amazing... the restaurant serves an awesome buffet and the lounge bar is quite stunning and intimate...staff could be a bit more attentive but not a big issue

Buffet Dinner was the highlight. At the time was $89 for 2 adults and 2 children which seems very reasonable. Room was great too, Very comfortable room and bed. Very quiet too

great find under pressure”
My wife and I got this hotel last minute in the busy season--what a find! They have a stellar location on the lake, are a 5 minute drive to the Catholic Church, a 2 minute walk to the restaurant area, they have geothermal spas at the hotel, the bed is VERY comfortable, staff was extremely polite and accommodating--super place all around! Oh, and it is within a 30 minute drive of most every activity in the area.

Great location”
Novotel Hotel will always satisfy you. Great location You can see the wonderful sunset by the lake and it's great for a walk. The room is spacious and comfortable. The beds are fluffy and allow you to sleep very well.

Lovel staff”
We were travelling to Rotorua for two nights with two school kids and the hotel was fabulous. Clean room with two comfortable beds. Only trouble was a thin wall to the room next door, where some American youngsters seemed to have a good laugh till midnight. But they were friendly and left for the lobby area when I (politely) asked them to shut up. Staff was great. Breakfast absolutely delicious with everything from continental to Asian and Indian. Kids loved the juice maker the most. Quite a treat. Free parking, free use of thermal pool. We will be back!

Happy family experience ”
A great location, walking distance to restaurants etc. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The small was smaller than we expected but the hot pools were great and the gym was a proper gym with weights and all the equipment, unlike other hotels who have just a cardio room. Our room was street side, and was quiet, comfortable beds and a decent size. A reasonably large modern hotel with lots of conference rooms, it was immaculately clean. Our 3 night's were quiet because of Auckland being in level 3, we would definitely recommend it and would definitely return without hesitation

They were all friendly and helpful. Especially the receptionist’s manager who responded and solve the problems quickly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Super friendly staff and great location ”
The staff there are super friendly. They also have pools and gyms available. Only downside we faced was the ventilation. There’s no window that could be opened in our double queen bed room. It was so hot and dry at night even when we turned down/off the aircon at night.

Pricey, but great facilities”
I got a great deal including breakfast for my stay, so I have to admit I normally couldn't afford to stay here! However, the pool, gym and dining facilities were excellent. I had no reason to go out! The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

Best and affordable place you can stay”
My family went to stay here for a night and had a good experience with them. The location, ambiance, and the rooms were just right for us. The price is affordable enough knowing the availability and demand during this time.

Nice hotel in a great location! We loved the geothermal baths!”
This hotel is modern and clean, and in an excellent location. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping in easy walking distance. Our room was pretty “standard” but clean, and our bed was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the heated pool, hot tub, and geothermal baths! We would definitely stay here again

Rotorua retreat”
We found the Novotel clean and comfortable, with great staff. The pool was very well used, as were the hot pools. Being so central to very good eateries, meant good food, at minimal walking. Our 3yr loved it
