Great Location!”
The Richmond Hotel Asakusa is a fine hotel located in one of the most popular tourist areas of Tokyo. As with my previous experiences with Richmond properties, their staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious as far as Japanese hotels go (though still small compared to most North American hotels). The key to this hotel (and the sister Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International a few steps away) is the surrounding area. You are smack dab in the middle of Asakusa. Restaurants are everywhere! You will have a difficult time not finding a good place to eat. In fact, you'll have a harder time choosing where to go!

Enjoyable vacation”
We stayed for 2 nights and the room we got was wonderful. It was clean, and we could see the Skytree and Sensoji Temple from the window. And as noted in their ad, tourists spots and restaurants were all within walking distance. The staff could speak English, and we had no problems with the facilities. We also got a 500yen gift card from participating in their "reduce carbon footprint" (not sure of the exact words) campaign. I think the price we got from Agoda was due to the pandemic, but it was really cheap for such a high-end hotel. If possible, we'd book here again in the future.

My favorite hotel of the trip”
My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Hotel Richmond and were very happy with it. The value for the money is the highest of any hotel we stayed in during our trip. The front desk staff all spoke english and were helpful. The location was incredibly convenient to Senso-ji temple (we walked through it many times). There are tons of cute restaurants in the area less than 3 minute walk away. This was our first trip to tokyo and really liked the slightly quieter feel of asakusa compared to Shibuya where we stayed later in the trip. If I get a chance to come back to Japan I will definitely stay there again.

Perfect choice”
So many hotels in Tokyo to choose from, it took me quite some time to decide. Richmond was the perfect choice. Perfect location, easy to visit all the areas of the city. Easy access with the airport bus shuttle. Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms.

100% good stay. ”
This is a very good hotel. Good location that near to Sensoji temple & happening shopping area surrounded. The hotel are new, just 8 mths old only after opening. The facility are brand new & clean. The staff are nice. They given a special treat for my wife. We love it a lot. I would rate 100% for this hotel.

Great location in Asakusa, BUT double check your train station! ”
It was my fault for not double checking everything ahead of time and assuming everything is within walking distance. Ueno park is a 30 minute walk and depending on the weather - the heat, humidity, or both can wear you down quick. Its early June so the weather is a little humid and can be warm from afternoon to early evening (11am-6pm). Early check-in is US$10 per hour. So I dropped of my luggage at 12 noon and came back after lunch and a little sight seeing in the area. Seno-ji Temple is 2 blocks away and theres plenty to eat and see. I typically snack all day and have a big meal during the day. The rooms are nice and clean and not too small. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Washer and dryer all-in-1. It's Japan, so it didn't fully dry so I paid for extra 30 min. 11:10am double checking everything and as I as heading out, I got a courtesy call/ reminder that it was check-out time. Japan runs on time. I travel light, so the laundry on the 2nd floor was sweet.

Good choice”
Short walk from the train. Only need one train from the airport. Easy to access other spots in Tokyo by train. The hotel is very clean and updated. Good size room for Tokyo. They give you great amenities daily. Good price. Also many great eating drinking spots right outside the hotel.

Best location to Senso-Ji, Shopping around Asakusa”
This hotel is almost right next of Senso-ji. Super clean and nice hotel for reasonable costs. Wonderful view to Tokyo Sky tree and Senso-ji. So many shops and restaurants around. It’s little hike from the station but we’ll worth to stay here.

Amazing Hotel with a centralised location. ”
It's super amazing. It's located in a busy Asakusa streets. Nearby the Sensoji temple, you can never be at lost at finding what food to eat! There's even a Halal Karaage/Ramen/Udon stall nearby the Sensoji temple. Lots of sweet snacks and street grilled delicacies. The hotel interior is grand. Spacious! And multi-cable chargers is included! Definitely will consider staying here on my next Tokyo visit :)

In heart of Asakusa, very clean, good value for the money, convenient stores very close, restaurants also very close, 10min walk to Ginza line, breakfast 7/10, stuff speaking english

All you need in a hotel!”
From the service to location to amenities, it’s all that you need in Richmond! The space is also bigger than avg and asakusa have lots of good food in the vicinity! No complains at all!

Great location and elegant hotel”
me and my wife stayed here 2 nights and loved it. Great position (a few mins away from bar, restaurants, shops etc), nice staff and outstanding room with grea view on Osaka skyline.

Great location and view”
Feeling lucky to stay in this hotel. Got a top floor room with amazing view of the sensoji temple and sky tree. Great location to subways, and local shopping streets. Overall really enjoyed the stay.

Great access to Sensoji, but a little far from the subway especially with luggage. Staff were friendly and professional and rooms were neat, clean and tidy.

Which area and hotel ?”
Where to stay in Tokyo is a hotly debated topic. having now visited other areas we were so glad we choose the Richmond in Asakusa the surrounding area was great to wander about. The room was spotless although we choose a smoking room since the wife vaped but the room stunk, would opt for non smoking next time (and get her to smoke outside). The breakfast was very good although oriental has you would expect but still plenty for a european. The staff were so kind and assisted in our travel plans. On checkout it poured down with rain and reception tried their best to get us a taxi but unfortunately none were available.

Fantastic location ”
Nice hotel, great location 1min walk from Senso Ji temple😱, with room you getting free “handy” device which is android cellphone so you can take with you around and don’t need to worry to spend so much coz your provider will rip you off, rooms are pretty big for Japanese standards, I’m not satisfied with breakfast to be honest, better eat outside around hotel you have many better and cheaper places to eat, stuff are very friendly and helpful, of course they speak English as well, for 3⭐️ Hotel is very good, I prefer hotel next door 4⭐️ Richmond Premier International but all rooms been booked already(during hanami/sakura aka cherry blossom). I will stay there also from 26.03-3.04

Room is big, i can open two luggage at once time. The location is good, walking distance to train station and Senso-ji. Definitely will choose Richmond when i travel to Tokyo again.
